Kayleigh knew that Finn and Des were going to be out of the house for the day, and she had suggested strictly told Finn to not come home that evening. Of course he had pestered her, and asked why and why and why and eventually Kayleigh let him know what would happen if he did come home. The blonde spent the rest of the day setting up a scavenger hunt for her husband. There were about ten clues scattered around the house even taking him on a detour to the kitchen where his next clue was taped to a firewhiskey, all through the small apartment before ending in the bedroom. At the final clue, Kayleigh had a balloon attached to tiny shoes, her pregnancy test sitting in the hole of one, Kayleigh standing eagerly on the side, waiting for Des to arrive.

Desislav didn't get why people kept telling him marriage would be difficult. He kept waiting for it to happen, for things to get difficult, but they never seemed to. Life was just really, really good. He worked with his best friend and went home to his other best friend. And, he often got to spend time with both of them together. Desi kept asking Finn why they hadn't invited Kayleigh with them. He was sure she would have enjoyed their outing, and he was eager as he entered the house to tell her about his day. His attention quickly moved elsewhere as he saw a note enchanted to get his attention. The man darted forward and grabbed it, already eager to see where this would lead. He loved scavenger hunts! Desi kept a running commentary because he knew Kayleigh was somewhere in their home waiting for him. Finally, he was at their bedroom, scanning the room before he spotted a set of balloons. He grinned, his eyes quickly moving to find Kayleigh who was standing there. He hadn't yet seen what the balloons were attached to. "So...what do I win?" he asked her, holding up all of the note cards, showing her his pearly whites. Surely, it wasn't just some balloons.

Kayleigh couldn't stop smiling as she heard Desi's commentary, loving every second of it. It didn't take him as long as she thought, and she should have figured he'd be good at a scavenger hunt. She watched eagerly as he finally entered the room, excited to see his reaction. And...well...It wasn't exactly the reaction she was expecting. The blonde let out a snort of laughter, taking the notes from his hand, and gently leading it down to the baby shoe, before looking back at him expectantly.

Desi kept his grin as she took the note cards from him and took his hand. He allowed her to lead his hand to another destination, his gaze following to see a small pair of shoes. They were far, far too small for him but there was something inside of the shoes. "Oh" he murmured, taking a few moments before all of the items he was seeing suddenly clicked together. He repeated the same word, an entirely different tone to the words this time. "Ohhhhhhhh" he replied this time, looking at his wife. The man felt his knees weaken slightly, and he turned to take a seat on the bed. Desi was going to be a dad. He looked up at his wife. "Not a joke, right?" he asked, though he was sure he knew the answer to this.
