Evangeline was glad being back at hogwarts. She would soon start her fifth year already and it didn't went fast enough for the brunette. It wasn't like she hated Hogwarts, but she just wanted to be gone and live her own life and build up a carrier without having to see her parents all the time. From day one that Evangeline set foot on Hogwarts there didn't changed anything between her parents relationship. They didn't even notice her growing up so fast. Evangeline had given up hope that her parents would come back together a long time ago. The fact that they didn't even spoke normal to eachother played a big part. For Evangeline it was hard making friends, she didn't had any adult that learned her how to speak to someone and do stuff together. The brunette was fine by herself and it was kinda a lifestyle for her. But now when Evangeline saw people together laughing and doing fun stuff together she felt something. The brunette hadn't felt some feelings or emotions in a long time. She had decided to close off her feelings, because no one could ever hurt her than again. The persons who should love her the most, didn't even notice her. And what the worst thing was, was that they were fighting over Evangeline mostly. But the brunette didn't believed they cared for her, they were only busy with themselves. Trying to get some attention with their lawsuits.

Evangeline went to the place she often came: the library. When she set foot inside she noticed the calm. The slytherin enjoyed it. But she felt a desire for some friends too. She had spoken to Odette and Hayden sometimes, but she didn't saw them as friends. And it made her a bit sad thinking about that she had nobody to talk to. It wasn't like she was gonna open up all of sudden but perhaps talking to someone wasn't that bad? The brunette was strict in choosing. Evangeline didn't liked a lot of fuss and loud noices, so someone calm and chill would be fine. But one thing that were her friends were books for sure. So the brunette took a book from the shelf and found a empty spot at a table and went reading. It comfort her and made her forget everything.

Noah was determined to get all O's this semester. His parents had stressed the importance of his OWLs this year and what they would mean for his future. He had recently decided that he wanted to be an Auror when he left Hogwarts, and after talking to his father, he had a clear understanding of exactly how much work he was going to have to put in so that he could even have a chance to be an Auror. He would really have to get his act together this year in order to meet his goal.

That was how Noah Kingsley ended up in the library with his school things before his classes for the term had even begun. Surprisingly enough, the library was packed full of other students. Some of which were studying, and others that were just chatting. Noah spotted a table with only one other girl from his house sitting at it. It was the least crowded of all the tables, and he made his way over to it. "Hi there, Evangeline, right?" he said, vaguely remembering her name from classes. "Do you mind if I join you?" Noah asked politely.

The brunette loved reading and didn't really figured anyone would interupt her. Mostly she hated it and could be really unkind to those, but Evangeline wanted to be a different person. She didn't want to follow in her parents footsteps by making out of everything a fight. It did matter who interupted her, people from her own house she didn't really mind. They seem to be relax and okay. Evangeline was rather suprised when a boy from her year knew her name. She attended classes and everything but she only spoke when it was needed to be. A small smile appeared on her face as she felt she did matter. '' Hi. Yes I'm Evangeline. You are a fifth year too right?'' the brunette asked. It felt strange being in your fifth year and not really knowning people yet. It wasn't like Evangeline didn't knew people her names or stuff, she just liked to see it from a bit distance. The brunette loved to observe and was pretty good at it. Not creepy observing but just getting information she figured. And Evangeline knew exactly who this boy in front of her was.

The boy asked if he could join her and Evangeline didn't saw a reason why that would be a problem. She nodded and shove the books a bit away from the table.
'' Do you need to study too?'' Evangeline asked to the boy. This boy was the son of the Minister of New Zealand she knew. Evangeline always dreamed of working on the ministry. She was curious if this boy wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps or wanted to do something totally different. Evangeline thought it would be nice to meet someone worthy. Someone who was intelligent she hoped, and where you could actually have a interesting conversation with. She didn't really liked most of the other students that only talked about Brightstone weekends or games together.
