Leia had only been in school for a few days and was taking advantage of the fact that there were no classes yet to explore the school grounds. She loved being in Hufflepuff but there were so many bubbly, eager-to-meet-you Hufflepuffs in her year and Leia just wasn't used to all being around that many people her age at once, it scared her. So she usually stayed outdoors as long as possible before she had to go back to her dorm. This time today Leia was wearing a white spaghetti-strapped blouse and some grey skinny jeans with black ray bans and a yellow daisy braided into her loose hair as she visited the cliffs, something she definitely wasn't used to, coming from New York. Leia stood cautiously not too close to the edge with her hands on her hip as she overlooked the view.

Like the rest of the students, Emma had been sorted and had been at Hogwarts for a few days, as classes hadn't begun yet she was exploring the castle, everything seemed easy enough to find, which she was pleased with. The only thing that got her was the moving staircases that scared her right out. She was in Ravenclaw, and everyone seemed very nice, and intelligent, however, she did notice some seemed a little bit snobby because of their intelligence, but she was just as friendly to them as she was to anyone else.

Wearing a comfortable pair of blue jeans, a white tank top and a pair of blue ray bands, the Ravenclaw walked out of the castle and onto the grounds, hoping that she would find Cyril or Leia, they hadn't spoken in quite some time and was begining to miss her friends. This thought, just as many others, escaped her when she felt the beating sun touch her fair skin. Emma grinned, and soaked it in while walking towards the cliffs, not notincing that anyone else was there because she was in one of her normal, dreamy states.

As Emma reached the cliffs, she spotted Leia, and her chocolate brown eyes smiled. She walked up towards her and chirped,
"Hey Leia!"

Leia immediately turned when she heard someone greet her and as soon as she saw who it was, her face lit up. "Emma!" she greeted just as cheerily, wrapping her arms around one of her only friends here. "Congrats on getting into Ravenclaw," she told her with a smile, remembering how that was the hose Emma had wanted to end up in. "How's it treating you so far?" she asked with a light giggle, brushing her black bangs out of her eyes.

^^lame sorry

Emma wrapped her arms around Leia in return and gave her a sunny smile. "Thanks Leia, congratulations on making Hufflepuff," she smiled. "Oh not too shabby," she giggled lightly, giving her best friend a beaming smile then tucked a strand of her blond hair behind her ear. "What about you? Puff life treating you fine?" she asked with a friendly grin.

Leia was glad to be talking to Emma again, she felt like she hadn't seen her in so long but now that they were together again it was like nothing was different. She shrugged her shoulders lightly when she asked how Puff life was treating her. "The same," she replied, unable to think of a way to describe how she knew she belonged in Hufflepuff, but somehow felt secluded from them all the same. "Everyone's really nice," she said with a faint smile, her calm tone of voice concealing the fact that this came as a surprise to the brunette. Not that she had expected Hufflepuffs to be mean, just that she was fearful that they were all too nice to her, like they had a hidden agenda, but it was just the way she thought being brought up like that. "How do you like the castle so far?" she asked her while rubbing her shoulders as the sun beat its warmth on her. So far her favorite place had been the lake, since Leia was immediately drawn to any body of water, and wanted to go swimming in it just for fun.

Emma noted that her friend's aura dipped into the facids of surprise as she spoke of how nice Hufflepuffs were. She looked up dreamily, a little amused at her friend's skepticism of everyone's personality, as she felt the same thing for certain people that had certain colours on their aura. "The castle, is a lovely piece of architechture," she answered a little playfully. She had spent most of her time by the lake side, with her feet dipped in the calm water, she enjoyed how she could see the colours of people, and the colours of everything around her, perhaps she would have to go when she was wearing her big coke-bottle glasses, to actually see things with her mind's eye instead of with her constricting contacts she wore, purely for vanity.

So sorry that I skipped out on this for a bit, please forgive, Chaos.

Leia smiled to herself, noting Emma's usual dreamy-like state in the way she looked and talked. At first it had bothered Leia, as if Emma were bored to pieces with what they would talk about, but after spending more time with her she realized it was just Emma's personality. Something told her that deep within those chocolate brown eyes, there was something she could see that no one else could, which in turn caused her to look dreamily.

Leia chuckled at her words, a lovely piece of architecture. "Yeah it is," she agreed, though Leia didn't care much for buildings or their architecture, she saw enough of that in New York. "But I much prefer its grounds," she said with a shrug and a smile. So far she had only gotten to see the garden and the lakefront, her two favorite spots to visit so far. "But what's with these cliffs anyway?" she asked, deciding to sit on a large rock. She had never been anywhere with cliffs. "It's a New Zealand thing right?" she asked with another laugh, feeling slightly dumb that she had to ask, but not really caring.
