Lilith hadn't meant to upset anyone, she never really did. However after their second Charms lesson she had noticed quite a few glares from a certain Slytherin girl, it was very subtle only during passings in hallways or on meals, but for a girl like Lilith, it was enough to make her worry about what she had done wrong. The Ravenclaw hadn't been too inclined to speak up about it but as she entered the student lounge meaning to perhaps sit down and read a book she decided that the next chance she got she would talk to the girl. See what she had done wrong or if she was just being delusional about the glares, though maybe the reason was her pairing with the girls brother on Charms, whatever it was she was keen to fix it.

Godmod approved by Marga for the glares part :trolol:

Sayuri had always thought that she came from too big a family. Being born directly after the triplets but near enough to be almost the same age as them made her all too easily forgettable. Which couldn't be helped, of course. Rose and Jonah required an exorbitant amount of attention. Elijah naturally has that attention because he was very studious and smart. Of course, the same could be said for herself, but it was easier to forget her because of how she liked to hide away. Basically, she never really got along well with her siblings. But she got along with Eli the best. They were study partners even back in Mahoutokuro. She and Jonah really only got along when they were on a broom playing against each other. And she and Rose. Well, neither of them really talked. She'd expected nothing and everything would change once they reached Hogwarts. And that was true. The first semester had apparently been a mess for the triplets. Naturally, Sayuri didn't get caught up in the crossfire, mostly because no one really cared that she was in a different house. The triplets in being different houses had apparently thrown everyone for a loop and it all came crashing down during the holidays. Jonah and Eli were fighting, Rose had turned into a recluse and Jonah had actually failed classes. He wasn't the best student, but he'd never actually failed a class before so that had her parents up in arms. So yeah, nothing and everything had changed. Which was expected. But what Sayuri was currently hating was that she had somehow lost her study partner to some random girl. She didn't mind much last semester when it was Astronomy. But now, she couldn't believe that some random girl was stealing her brother. It was frankly getting annoying. A random girl that was now also in the Student Lounge. Was there truly no escape? She huffed internally before deciding to ignore the girl and search for a spot she could study in.

Lilith was nicely tucked in with her book on one of the couches, her focus faltering in and out of the words on the pages. She was following the story somewhat when her focus again was brought out of it. Her eyes landed on the very girl she had just mentally vowed to speak to. Now though that she had the chance? Nerves crawled up her spine and made a nest in her stomach. It was one thing to swear mentally to fix and confront someone and another to actually do it. She kept averting her gaze between the book and girl, trying to gather the nerves. It'd be the right thing to do, right? She should speak to her, see what she had done wrong.

After a few minutes of said internal battle Lilith finally got enough courage to get herself up from the couch and approach the girl. Her steps were slow, hesitant, as she walked towards her. "Uh you are Sayuri, right? Elijah's sister?" She mustered all the courage she could, which let's just be real wasn't that much, and somehow managed to speak with an even tone. "I... See I think I have noticed you maybe possibly slightly dislike me? Correct me if I am wrong, because I very much could be, but I can't help but feel like perhaps I have unintentionally done something that has upset you?" Lilith was not at all sure what she was saying, the anxiety of it all overwhelming her brain a little as she blinked at the girl praying to whatever gods there may be that it'd all be fine.
