The crowd was oozing out of the entrance as Hylas presses his way through the main door of Salem Loft. The unplottable bar owned by his uncle had opened for a month now to the wizarding public. Hylas was enjoying the thrills that could offer the job of a professional duelist. Fame, travels, adrenaline rushes, women. It had everything he had ever wanted. However, when the tournaments were over and he was back to his base, he had the time to engage in an activity he had pioneered. Magical mixology was an art that was really relaxing him so whenever he had some time off duels, he was at the bar making cocktails and drinks with the touch of magic. Hylas had organized the menu and most drinks in there were his own creations so he had a good reason to be proud about the public's positive reception. People were returning, becoming regular customers and Hylas apart from tending the bar he also liked socializing, hearing recommendations and flirting.

He gave the vampire doorman a quick nod and a pat on the shoulder before squeezing through a group of already far past wasted girls. He probably would have given them a second glance if he hadn't just left from the apartment of the girl he had slept with last night. Plus, he was running late and he was supposed to replace his half-giant friend and colleague. He was in a foul mood which only intensified as he rounded the exterior bar at the edge of the vast balcony, overlooking the view and the city's lights. Many customers were sitting or standing around it, either admiring the view or waiting for a drink. "I'm late, I know. You're free to go." he didn't even glance at his half-giant partner as he took his place and fell into his role, starting mixing the cocktail of the next order.

Left alone behind the bar, he started working fast. He flourished his wand and summoned a small cauldron from beneath the bar. He charmed it to float next to him while enchanting a knife to cut a mango into slices on the bar's surface. He draw the attention of the customers sitting by the bar as the bluebell flames he cast roared beneath the hovering cauldron. He combined in it sugar and agave. He let it heat until it turned into a red-blood caramel. He put the mixture on a slicer and flicked his wand to order the glass dip its rim into it. Hylas blew out of his palm a gust of sparkling, blue powder which cooled down the mixture on the rim. Customers exclaimed and that brought a smile at the corner of his mouth. He proceeded by adding in the bottom of the glass ice that conjured from thin air followed by grenadine that her poured from a bottle, creating a first, crimson layer. Then the mango chunks jumped into the air, swirled in front of him and mashed up into juice before the customers' eyes. The mango juice trickled into the glass to add a yellow layer above the scarlet one. The cocktail was done as Hylas topped it with the last layer of white rum.

"Your Red Cap. Enjoy" he offered the drink to the one who had ordered it with a round of applause from those who had watched the procedure. He didn't tarry and charmed a towel to clean quickly the preparation area as he went to take an order from someone who just took a seat by the bar. "Hello." he greeted and handed to the new customer a menu of the drinks and cocktails. "Let me know if you need any help." he said and started mixing the cocktail of his next order by adding rum and a couple of fire seed in a shaker.
