Padme couldn’t believe she was a second year, she found it so exciting with all she was likely to learn in this year. She would build on everything in the last year and just become a much more well rounded witch. She would also pick her classes, her electives in the latter half of the year so, she was also exceedingly excited for that. However, what she was most excited for was to see her friends. To see Cyrus and Amy and above all else jace. Their tentative friendship had truly developed, for which she was entiely grateful. They had spent a little time together over the break but it just hadn’t been enough. Enough to cement that best friend status but not enough time in general, so she had sent him a little not and then ventured to the kitchens. She’d learned from her mother how to make cookies and was so keen to show him. It would also be good she thought to be a little on his turf, a little closer to slytherin than she really ventured. They were cooling now, and she was eager for Jace to turn up, hoping he’d gotten her note to say to come meet him and that he would take the time to meet her. ​
