[Rue Undersee]

Rue slid her feet under the bend, tucking her skirt underneath her. She squinted as the mid day sun shone on her. Summer was Rue's worst season. She hated it, trying to stay in the shade as much as possible. Unfortunately, at this time of day, there weren't any shadows, and Rue had to put up with it. She thought back sadly to her sister, the last memory she had of her. She sighed, closing her eyes, almost seeing the world with her in it again. She was desperately lonely, nobody paid much attention to her. It wasn't surprising - She was too small to be noticed.

Rue opened her eyes as footsteps padded behind her. She sat up straight, turning around to see who had come. She could tell it was another first year. She breathed a sigh of relief, knowing she wasn't going to be teased or bullied, and smiled at them. She patted the space next to her on the bench, gesturing for them to sit down. In Rue's little bubble, there was nothing better than company.
'Hi.' Her small voice was just audible. That was another annoying problem about being small. Her voice was quiet, and she had to shout for anyone to hear her. 'Hi.' She said a little louder, squinting again as the sun shone straight in her eyes.

 

[Aurelie Rueskoshuvich]

Aurelie crept up behind a small girl she recognised from her year. When she was heard she swore quietly and stuffed the prank up her jumper and grinned innocently. "Salut. Rue n'est pas cela?" she asked, know full well in her mind she was, "Je suis Aurelie, Aurelie Rueskoshuvich" she smiled again, hoping to confuse the girl into not wanting to speak to her, but sat down beside her on the bench anyway. Aurelie herself was nothing more than a mere 4 foot 7, and her long thin blonde hair blew about her shoulders effortlessly. Dispite of her size she was not one to be pushed over.
