Pearl had dug out the costume, she'd brought it from home for exactly this purpose. For Halloween. It had felt stupid to pack it, but arriving at the great hall, she was feeling pretty pleased with herself over it. The Slytherin gave a loud cheer as she entered the hall, waving the pompoms around as she did so, making sure eyes were on her as she did so. She needed to look and act the part, of course. Just that Pearl couldn't do any actual cheerleading things, she had never gone to a gym or done anything of the sort where she might learn. So while she was getting into her character of cheerleader, she wasn't about to do any cartwheels or flips. She headed to the fun house mirrors, keen to use them to marvel at her own costume as it was reflected back to her in many silly ways. She wasn't interested (and didn't have anyone) to meet up with at this celebration. So the mirrors would be fun and fun to do on ones own when you cheer for yourself, as she definitely intended to do.
