Arianna loved high towers with good views. Yet in her month and a half of going to Hogwarts she had never ventured up to the north tower. She had settled for the view from her dormitory window, and while it was a good one. On the way back from the kitchens one evening she decided to walk up and see just what was at the top of that tower. By the time she got to the top she was a bit out of breath, one thing was for sure. With all of the walking a person had to do Arianna could sample as much of the food as she liked, definitely no worry about gaining weight.

She had realized this early on which was why she now had a small plastic bag with a bakers dozen of cookies in it. There had originally been fifteen but she had eaten two on the way up. She found out the recipe for the cinnamon chocolate chip cookies that Scorpius had given her and recreated them sans Nutmeg. The taste was a bit different but she found it to be good just the same. She got another cookie out of the bag and took a nibble of it as she leaned against the inside edge of the tower and soaked in the view. She would definitely have to trek up here more often.

Kaleb had been planning on exploring the castle for quite some time now. However, he never got the chance to. He was up to his knees in girls. And for once, Kaleb actually did not want to have any girls falling over his charms. Kaleb combed his hair, and put on a black shirt, and a fresh pair of blue jeans, and exited the Slytherin House. He walked around, with hands in his pockets, and walked up to the towers. It was one of the only places he had not gone to just yet. Kaleb found himself rather a bit tired after the long walk, but it wasn't like he cared much.

The Slytherin boy glanced about, and saw one girl. Sure, she was cute, but he did not feel like acting. Instead, he simply walked over to stand beside her, and glanced outside at the view. It alone made him smile, and he gazed over at the girl who seemed to be somewhat his age. He grinned faintly, "It would really hurt if you fell from this height." It was just something casual to say, and well, it was a known fact. This Slytherin wasn't afraid of heights, and boy, he was glad over that one. Kaleb wondered why he had not ventured up here beforehand. It seemed like a good hang out spot.

Arianna took another bite of the cinnamony cookie, glad to be able to enjoy it this time without being rushed unconcious to the hospital wing. Between the cinnamony goodness and the wonderful view she didn't hear someone else enter the proximity. She jumped a bit when she heard the voice address her. She turned towards the source of it and swallowed the bite of cookie she had in her mouth before saying. "Well, I'd say so. We are pretty far up after all..." she replied looking down at the ground for a second now thankful she wasn't afraid of heights.

Kaleb laughed under his breath when he watched her jump a bit. Well, he was a bit quiet when he walked, just like Jaken and Kalif. Kaleb could only smile a bit, and it was very little. He wasn't in his acting form, and wouldn't be today. He was being his real person. Just laid back and just going along with things. Though if asked about his opinions and views, things would turn for the Dark quicker. His eyes lacked any real emotion, and figured that instead of making this girl one of his toys, he would maybe treat her like a friend, if it came to that. "Imagine if someone really did fall from up here. An instant death." Kaleb shrugged lightly. His voice had been muffled. He stood up straight, and introduced himself, "Kaleb Styx, Slytherin. And a first year. Who might you be?"
