OVERALL PRESONALITY
At first glance, Chase doesn't look much like an approachable kid. He can come off as grumpy and indifferent, a mask he has learned to put up ever since he was little. The idea of his dad not wanting him as left him with many struggles, including difficulty trusting others and fear of abandonment. If he keeps people at a distance and doesn't let them in then there's no way they can hurt him either. Or leave him, for that matter. It'd take someone showing him complete trust or trying to break through his shell for the right reasons for him to actually open up a bit. Once he does he might not be the most fun friend but he will turn out to be fiercely loyal friend. Something that stems from a secret need to be loved which is just another issue his dad left him.

Since he was so opposed to even trying to make some friends at his old school Chase has mostly spend time by himself and his hobbies reflect that. He loves reading comic books, especially excited when some of his favourites were getting made into movies. Even if he lived in a mostly magical home he spend a big part of his time in the Muggle world. He's also a big fan of video games and likes to try his hand at photography with an old, hand-me-down camera his mom once got him for his birthday. During his second year at school he tried out for quidditch just because he thought the idea of getting to hit things was nice but he did eventually grow to appreciate the sport itself more as well.
