Tomas was grateful to be back at school, something he had not expected. Since he was grounded at home for going into Bleak Street with Victoria, which the Slytherin agreed had been a little stupid. Anyone that lived near Obsidian Harbour knew that Bleak Street was not 'safe' and 'secure', beggars, 'dark wizards' and other 'nasties' lurked in Bleak Street, apparently. But so did his own father, apparently, so was it really that bad? Austiin had come just when Tommy needed and that was all that mattered. He and Victoria got out safely, and his father was even kind enough to wait until Victoria was not around before he ripped him to pieces. It was an unique display of patience and kindness shown since his father's recent relationship malfunction and decline in positive personality. The part-veela liked to think that it did not affect him, as he didn't even like Cameron and Mai-ling in the first place, but he was missing them, a little. It was difficult, as Ruben was insufferable whenever he was around now. The normally mildly annoying girl now made him want to have her splinched with all of her crying. Clara was even worse. He had only recently found peace and that was because he was back at school. If he were home-schooled or something, he was sure his hair would have been torn out of his head by now.

The Slytherin walked closer to the lake, and soon had his shoes hanging in his hands, trousers rolled up above the ankle, and his bare feet in the water. He now had two sisters in the school. Keye and Ellington. He was happy to have both of them here, but he loathed the time that their younger siblings would be attending here. He liked Ellington and Keye, and was quite happy to spend time with them. The others were a little different. Leander was okay, but he could barely speak English, and Tommy was not about to deal with a language barrier - that was far too much effort for him. He had yet to speak to Keye or Ellington, though he had seen them in the Great Hall, when Keye was sorted into Hufflepuff. It looked like a nice house, Hufflepuff, although he would have preferred his sisters to be in the same house just to keep things simple.

Keye knew not how she felt about her house. She was probably very neutral about it, really. Though, she should admit that she would be fine in any house or maybe she should have been placed in Slytherin where Tommy was. It would have been fun. She was the person she was closest too after all and having someone she knew inside her house would have been greatly, but sadly she didn't know if that was the case. She would barely speak to anyone after all and just stay in her room. She didn't like attracting attention, so she mostly stuck to her bed, a book in hand though not really reading, but instead mostly watching and listening to her roommates get close to each other and have their fun. She was effectively jealous though it seemed that they were set on ignoring her and she was fine with that too, she was used to not being noticed and just setting off in her own little world after all. And so, if she were not on her bed, she would set off to stay in the library or some place that she could actually read and not just watch other people have have fun with closeness.

This particular day though, she had decided upon going to the Lake. She wasn't one who would explore the castle after all just to search for a peaceful place she could stay in. The only places she knew were probably the important ones. Particularly, the classrooms, the library, the Great Hall and the Quidditch Pitch. And it wasn't like the Lake couldn't be seen easily after all, and besides it had a relaxing view. When she arrived, book in hand, Keye let her eyes wander throughout the place to know where she would sit herself and she found something, or rather someone more interesting. Her usual calm and quiet demeanor was now changed into the sweet and playful one that she rarely showed upon seeing a certain Slytherin with his feet in the water. The young Hufflepuff grinned as she trudged closer to the boy, and took off her Hufflepuff robes and her shoes and placed them with her book in the grass where she was sure they would be safe from wetness. She made sure she was full of stealth and silence, her presence was something not so easily found after all and when she was close enough she pushed hard into the water of the lake. Somewhere in the back of her mind, she hoped he would not get too angry and forget this grudge, but all that showed was her fit of laughter and giggles. "Hey Tommy," was all she managed to say in between her fits of laughter.

Ellie was already enjoying being back in school. Being at home was hard because there were so many of them. Ellie hadn't bothered to think about how many of her father's children were in that house. It wasn't so bad when Cameron was still there, but he had left now and seemed to have sucked all of the fun and happiness out of their father as he left. Ruben spent all of her time in her bedroom or crying, Leander was weird normally, Clara was throwing tantrums because her daddy wouldn't pay her any attention, Svetlana was as insufferable as always, Imogen was creating her own brand of b!tchiness and they barely saw Oliver and Wynter anymore. Ellie was quite happy to be away from the hustle and bustle that was her household and she had really needed to take the time to be able to just relax. She couldn't relax at home, it wasn't going to happen. Being back at school was really the only option she had to be honest. Not that she minded, she rather liked it here, it was so big and there was magic all over the place. It was true that Ellie missed her mother and even was confused by magic most of the time, but it wasn't all bad, not really. It wasn't just her and Tommy at the school anymore either; Keye was here now and that made Ellie feel much better. Ellie and Keye got along as well as could be expected considering they were both pretty quiet usually, at least that was true when they were around lots of people, at home however they were much more out going. Ellie often told the girl about her mothers eccentricities, and the fact that she was a struggling artist. Ellie really loved her mother, but that didn't mean she couldn't see the woman's many faults.

After her mother had died, Ellie had been upset about living with a father she had never known, but Austiin had turned out to not be so bad and Ellie was very happy for that. Usually she would stay in her dorm on a day like today, considering it was Winter she was sure she would be fine, there wasn't all that much sun and it wasn't especially warm, but it wasn't cold, so she wouldn't need to rug up or anything which was the only thing she was particularly worried about. She hated being cold or hot with either side and so she was really bad for weather. If she could find a spell that got rid of weather entirely, she would happily use it. Walking out into the weather, not that there was much, Ellie shielded her eyes against the small amount of sun. The Hogwarts Grounds were quite extensive and Ellie had no idea where she wanted to go. This wasn't a decision that could be made lightly after all. However after some thought, Ellie decided to head toward the lake. She wouldn't actually go in the water, seeing as she couldn't swim, but it would be okay if she just sat on the bank, or perhaps walked into the water and just stand there, but she wouldn't be going too far in, it would be bad, she could drown or something. Making her way down to the Lake, she was suddenly more exuberant in her happiness because she noticed too people in the water. Her siblings, both of them miraculously. Ellie fastened her pace and came up behind Keye, not having bothered to kick of her shoes, quietly she tiptoed through the water and leaned down in order to splash her sister. "Take that you meanie!"
