For the first time in a long time Kiara walked into the hall for one of the school's dances with some sort of confidence. Sure, she had some when she had attended the Valentine's dance with Soren last year but that had been mostly overruled by nerves and a slight feeling of awkwardness. Now, she tried her best to keep her chin up. She liked her dress, thought it was pretty. Thought it looked pretty on her. And feeling like that was a win in itself. She just hoped she could keep feeling like that for the rest of the night. Not let the fact that she would be wandering the hall on her own let her down. Kiara smiled as she walked on the fake snow, standing still and looking up for a minute to see if there would be any floating down as well.
