where's my f***ing teenage dream?

-------

-- i love people i don't like --

{ Olivia Ngo }
mother

Celia's relationship with her mom wasn't great before the divorce, but it wasn't bad either. After
the divorce, however, Celia lashed out at her, deciding she was to blame for everything. She
now knows that's not true, but she finds it easier to be angry at her mom than to face reality.
Celia views her mom's life as a cautionary tale and has vowed not to make the same mistakes.

{ Daniel Vuong }
father

Because her mom was usually the disciplinarian, Celia preferred her dad, and she wanted to
live with him after the divorce. Unfortunately, he didn't want the same. So Celia decided to reject
him back, and as far as she's concerned, she no longer has a father. Despite everything, a
small part of Celia still loves her dad and wants him to love her back. She hates that part of her.

they say these are the golden years -- *

{ Julia Black }
best friend, fellow gossip, classmate

Celia met Julia through a mutual friend and was initially a little skeptical of her, especially given
the girl's mischievous streak. Nevertheless, they've since become friends, bonded by a love of
fashion and gossip. Julia manages to bring out a more lighthearted side of Celia that has been
missing ever since she started at Hogwarts. She's the closest thing Celia has to a best friend.

{ Louis Alcott }
friend, unexpected confidant, classmate

Celia and Louis have a tumultuous relationship. For much of her time at Hogwarts, Celia has
refused to acknowledge him as a friend despite generally liking his company. That changed
in sixth year after a fight made her realize that she cares about his opinion of her. They later
made up, and Celia feels like she understands Louis better now and can trust him a little more.

-- all i did was try my best --

{ Mallory Corrins }
tutor, adviser, former professor

Celia initially disliked Mallory after she got an E and not an O on a class assignment. She's
mostly over that now, thanks to all the extra lessons Mallory has graciously provided her. Celia
enjoys the fact that Mallory treats her like an equal, indulging her in conversations about serious
topics. She also likes that Mallory has trusted her with so many details about her personal life.

{ Liusaidh Fergusson }
former captain, grudging respect, former housemate

Celia did not have high hopes when Liusaidh was first named Quidditch captain. She found the
older girl unbelievably immature. But over the years, Liusaidh has earned Celia's respect through
her no-nonsense and aggressive captaining. Though Celia was frustrated by the girl's reluctance to
cut underperforming players, she was willing to overlook those flaws when Liusaidh named her captain.

{ Max Kiefer }
former ally, avoidance, housemate

Celia isn't sure what to make of Max. They're not friends, but they're not enemies either. She's
felt connected to him ever since they started planning their escape, and she sometimes thinks
he's the only one who understands her. These days, she avoids him because he's a reminder of
one of her greatest failures, and she can't quite bear knowing that he saw her at her lowest point.

* -- god, it's brutal out here

{ Caleb Thorne }
dislike, nuisance, housemate

Celia thinks Caleb is the most annoying person at Hogwarts, which says a lot considering she
finds just about everyone at the school annoying. She does not understand why he insists on
bothering her and asking her intrusive questions about her life. She also does not understand
how he keeps moving up grades when he has the maturity and intelligence of a kindergartener.

{ Ares Kuya-Tine}
dislike, dead weight, former housemate
Celia noticed Ares' temper right away. It took her a little longer to realize he was the most useless
beater at the school. For much of her Quidditch career, Celia has felt extremely frustrated that
she cannot rely on Ares to help her during games. Her frustration turned into outright distaste
when he yelled at her during practice for hitting him with a bludger. She finds him utterly pathetic.

{ Katherine Alicastell }
dislike, former jailer, former headmistress

Celia knows her initial dislike for Katherine wasn't fair. She knows the woman was just doing her
job when she punished Celia for the field trip incident. But after Katherine disqualified Celia from
the Dueling Tournament, she started to suspect that the woman had it out for her. She attributed
many of Hogwarts' flaws to Katherine's leadership and was very happy when the woman left.

{ Sorting Hat }
dislike, sentencer, school relic

Celia has never hated an article of clothing more than the Sorting Hat. Any chance she had of
starting Hogwarts on a positive note was destroyed when the filthy hat was put on her. Celia
harbors a deep grudge against the hat for dirtying her hair, invading her mind, humiliating
her in front of the entire school, and sentencing her to seven years in the Slytherin dungeons.

{ Jenna Irons }
dislike, former friend, former housemate
In Jenna, Celia found someone who shares her views of Hogwarts and has similarly high standards
in life. Though Celia befriended Jenna in part to boost her own popularity, she genuinely enjoyed
hanging out with her. The two even started a sorority together. Things fell apart in sixth year when
Jenna ditched Celia after the truth about Celia's father was revealed, leaving her feeling betrayed.

{ Ivelisse Burleigh }
nemesis, unfriendly rival, roommate

Despite a negative first impression, there was a period of time when Celia thought she might
become friends with Ivelisse. That all ended after a fight during which Ivelisse picked out her
insecurities with frightening accuracy. Celia subsequently despised the girl, viewing her as her
biggest competition. Now that she's head girl and captain, Celia is less concerned about Ivelisse.

{ Seraphina My }
hatred, cause of ruination, former schoolmate
Celia never gave much thought to Seraphina before fifth year. She knew the Gryffindor was one
of her friend's former friends, and that was enough for Celia to want to avoid Seraphina. But their
paths collided when Seraphina saw an incriminating newspaper story about Celia's father. She
later revealed that information to the school via a howler, effectively destroying Celia's reputation.
