Stephanie could think of no other word for herself than c**t. Honestly. Considering the implications of what she was doing, it was any wonder she was even still able to look Leigh in the eyes. Did it help that Leigh and Jaden were physically identical? Little bit, but that didn’t mean that what she was doing was okay and she knew that, she just couldn’t stop herself from continuing it. She’d tried for months to keep away, telling herself she had Vala and Hugh to think about, but they were eight and four, they didn’t know what was going on either, which was probably a good thing, since Stephanie didn’t actually like lying to Leigh. She had loved her once, and she still loved her today, but it was different. It wasn’t the kind of passionate love she wanted and to be honest she had a terrible feeling she’d simply... settled. It was such a drab and dreary thought, but she’d been going through some things and used the feelings of loneliness and inadequacy to let herself be pulled along in Leigh’s wake. Something she both regretted and longed to return to. But, there it was, that feeling ingrained so deep within her that at the first sign of trouble, she’d hopped into bed with none other than Leigh’s sister, her twin, Jaden West. And she was definitely a c**t for doing it.

Holy water cannot help you now...Jaden laid stiff as a board, her colorless orbs peering up into pure darkness. An eerily silence fell over the couple after a moment of limbs coming together and then pulling apart. A familiar ritual she becomes customary to performing for over a year. In the time, she has pulled at the seams and plunge a dagger into love and trust. In the time, she savagely dug her teeth into lust and passion, lost herself and came back. In the time, the thing she craved and hunger for so long was at the palm of her hand, being molded and twisted at her will. In the time, she stole someone else’s affection, someone else’s beloved. And she did so with a wicked, festering smile that knows no guilt or regrets. That no knows bounds but to tease the flesh. Oh, what a year it has been, a year forever engraved into her memories. Oh, what a year it has been, oh what fun. Eyelids will slip shut as the darkness and eerily silence seize her from reality. What’s to follow, she’ll have to wait and see what's to come of it.

Expectation was not to be taken lightly in any form, the hollow pit in Stephanie's stomach didn't much help the lingering thoughts, or the dark mood she often found herself in whenever she thought of her wife. Leigh was living a lie, one wrapped so tightly around her that she had no hopes of breaking out of it, and, possibly even worse still than that, was the fact that it was how Stephanie preferred it. She segmented her life, dolling out the attention in small pieces rather than letting it come together and fracture on impact, still, it was a better life than she had expected some fifteen years ago. But it was a different time then. She turned to look at Jaden, Leigh in nearly all respects bar personality, which was another horrifying thought. Separated for so long at they were, and still not completely aware of each other, she supposed she wasn't all that surprised that they were so different in essence. Stephanie was a twin herself and she and her brother Speed were nothing alike either. She'd lost contact with them many years ago though, and it wasn't really a situation she often spoke about. She much preferred for people not to know who she was, or much about her, though Leigh had known enough. "I know you're awake," she said, sitting up quietly to look over at Jaden. This had been going on for about a year, Leigh was none the wiser, but that didn't mean that Steph felt any better about it. She loved Leigh, with all her heart, but the passion was gone now, after so long and Jaden was... well, she wasn't Leigh. "I'm getting up, if you want something, you'll get up too."

Don’t move, don’t move. Don’t blink, don’t move. The dark figure twisted in duvet cover went limp relying on the pitch-black silence to keep her cloak from her prying eyes. Sudden movements and fingers clasp around a lovely wrist. “Don’t,” voiced lust and regret. Tighten fingers mold the flesh, and then ease on up. When did she become so...touchy? When did dependent become a part of her vocabulary? “Don’t,” she spoke lowly and quiet this time. Satisfaction hasn’t come yet, it’s close to breaching the surface. Nearly close, but then again satisfaction was never satisfied. She always wanted more, desperate for more. Hungry for more, needing more. More, more, and more. “You’ll leave and I’ll have to wait a while,” murmurs quite frail and weak, she almost unrecognizable. For a moment there, the sister unintentionally took over before she shoved out in exile again. Jaden let’s go, “Hmmm, do whatever you want,” came out a hiss to the one she craves. The porcelain delicacy, the beauty that made her blood rush like a mad man. A deviant, sick mad man who seems to lose control when near. “If you leave, don’t think about coming back…”

The emergence of the path before, laying around her like a beacon, though not one of hope, was all Steph could cling to as she pulled on her robe and slipped out of the bed. She looked down as Jaden clutched her wrist, and didn't dare move again until she let it go. Steph sighed, but continued to slip out of the bed and tuck her robe around her. Being intimate with Jaden as she was, it was entirely different to parading in front of her naked. She tried so hard to keep the two sides of her from ever touching and somethings were still so intimately Leigh, that she could not bring herself to give them all over to Jaden, not yet. She felt the emptiness and the guilt every time she looked at her wife, at Vala and at Hugh, because this was entirely of her own design. A prison she could not work herself out to, and so she continued to dig the tunnel into it, deeper and deeper, hoping one day she would come out on the other side, or be caught and let the lie fall to tatters around her. She had no idea of what else to do. "Don't be dramatic, you know I won't have it," she said, rolling her shoulders to work the kinks out. She certainly wasn't as nimble as she used to be, thirty eight was a big number, one she had once considered she might never reach. "Do you want me to leave?" She asked, looking over her shoulder as she rubbed the back of her neck. Sometimes she wondered if Jaden liked or hated her, it was increasingly hard to tell.

The duvet covers pushed off to the left side of the bed, uncovering Jaden from her cozy cocoon. Jaden sat up abruptly, meeting the gaze of her addiction. "I didn't say you had to leave," the former Slytherin hissed. If anything, she'd do anything to prolong Stephanie's visit. By any means necessary, she'll delay her from letting her go...Which in itself was toxic on its own. She stands to keep her captive, embracing the witch in a shallow warmth. Can she even cumulate heat? Her veins are probably frozen solid at this point in her life. It was an exaggeration, an exaggeration that may as well be true. Jaden wrapped her arms around the witch's middle, forcing her near the Apothecary's shopkeeper. "Stay for as long as you like," whispers the snake, imitating warmth to sound at the very least believable. If her actions don't persuade Stephanie, maybe her words will. Or, maybe Jaden's desperation was clear as day and Stephanie will take pity on her.

Ugh, sorry for the delay!

"Drama Queen," though the sentiment suited her companion well, she knew it was not the kind of thing one could say to the likes of Jaden West, with whom Stephanie shared nought but her body. Her heart remained, as ever, with Leigh and though she knew what she was doing was a misuse of both Leigh's love and trust in her and Jaden's seeming dependancy on her presence, Stephanie, for nothing, could not break. Vala and Hugh were getting to the age where they would need to be prepared for school - well, Vala was, as she was eight, Hugh was still only four - and though she knew her wife would have that well in hand, she also knew she needed involvement as well. She looked down at the quiet words, she could almost hear the fear and anxiety in them, though she didn't understand it. She leaned over and traced her hand down Jaden's face, leaning in to kiss her softly. Still the passion remained, though she tried so hard to deny it. She sighed then, and flopped back onto the bed. "You've convinced me, my Queen," she said, laying her arm heavily over her face. Leigh would have to wait.
