Catching up.

[Hariah Meadow]

Hariah hadn't visited the Cliffs for a while, the last time was when she met Damien Blade who turned out to be one of her very good friends. She hadn't had that much time to catch up with people since school resumed. She had lost touch with a lot of her friends over the holiday's which she regretted. She would have liked to have some friends around her, that she could talk to. Her dad just wasn't enough and he didn't understand.

As usual it was rather windy around the cliffs and she was thankful that she remembered her coat. Last time she was not that fortunate. Hariah sat down and leant back on the nearest tree and stretched her legs out, it was more sheltered down here which Hariah liked. She got out some work out of her bag, which happened to be Transfiguration. The subject that Hariah wasn't that good at. She sighed and looked through her notes, the previous lesson had hit her hard.

 

[Damien Blade]

Damien made his way out of the castle.As usual his guitar was strapped along his back.Recently he had been writing much better songs.They were songs that he could consider playing to people,any sing prior to this year he would have considered very amateur.He would have been embarrassed playing them to anyone.Some people had seen his manuscript but they hadn't played or sung them in public which was a relief.He was much happier with his songs these days,they just had more musicality in them and the sounded better.He had decided that he was going to be a singer when he grew up or work in the music business,he loved it too much for it not to be one of the main things in his life.

He had a warm leather jacket on so the wind of the cliffs didn't affect him too much.The cliffs was a nice place to practice his music as barely anyone came up here and other then the wind and the sea crashing below there was no other sound.Damien's reading had improved since last year,his mother had taught him how to read and write properly and he was making good progress.Classes and homework where much easier these days.It took a great weight off his shoulders not having to spend most o the evening on homework,it also gave him a lot of spare time which was why he was almost at the cliffs.As he neared the tree that he usually sat by he noticed a figure sitting on it. Damien pursed his lips slightly,he would probably have tp find somewhere else but when he looked closely,he realized the person was Hariah ,a very good friend of his ,who he hadn't seen in a long time.He walked up and looked down at her smiling "Long time no See".
