Caysi walked the city of London, just looking around at the scenery and texting her friends on her phone. The blonde was extremely bored and couldn't find something to do. Then she got hit with an idea, " Eric Evans, we need a catching up date pronto! London, cafe , let's meet!" She sent the text to one of her good friends, Eric Evans. She had gotten closer with him before her wedding and all of that catastrophe.

The blonde hurried up to the cafe so that she could save a decent spot for her and Eric. She walked in, and thank Merlin, it was empty. She took a seat closer to the window so Eric could find her easier.
 
Eric hit the streets of london as he apparated to a nearby alley where there was no muggles, it had been a while since he had been to London so when he got the text from Caysi he decided to clear his schedule to come and visit the girl at the London Cafe. Eric had not been to see Caysi since the wedding but had been in contact via his cell phone but over the last couple of weeks with everything going on he had not had the time to talk to many of his friends and so he decided now was as good a time as ever to reconnect.

Eric walked into the Cafe and looked around until he spotted his blonde hair friend, who had already found a table for the two of them. Eric walked over with a smile on "Caysi Finnigan you are looking ravishing as always!" eric siad as he opened his arms to give a polite hug before sitting down at the table.
 
The blonde got a few texts from her sister, it still felt odd to her that she only had one sister right now. She was so used to adding the plurl. Her green eyes started at her phone; she had still left her dead sisters' cell numbers in there. She just wasn't ready to delete them now of all times. She shifted her eyes to the window, trying to take her mind off of it, thank Merlin that Eric came in.

" Hello handsome!" She said giving her friend a hug. " How are you Mr. Eric Evans? I can say that it's totally been too long." She nodded, pushing away her side bangs with her ring finger, without a wedding band.
 
"It had been sometime since we last talked, and the last time we actually saw each other was during your wedding." Eric said with a smile but his smile soon faltered for a spilt second as he saw that Casyi was not wearing her ring, but before anyone notice Eric smiled brightly again so as not to give his friend the fact that he noticed. If she had got a divorced or canceled the wedding then he was not going to bring up such horrible misfortunes when they had not even been able to enjoy the others company. " It has been a long time since I have been to London and it is good to see that it has not changed too much since I las saw it, but enough of the nonsense. I was surprise to get the message to mee you here since it has been so long since we touched base, how have you been my dear?" Eric said as he crossed his leg and folded his hands on his lap.
 
" I know, it's been too long." The blonde nodded her head. " I figured that it was time that we caught up, I couldn't be without my Eric for too long." She gave a big grin. " So much has happened with me, I got a divorce with Ryan, turns out he wasn't as sweet as we thought he was, got another girl pregnant on my wedding day." She nodded seriously at Eric. " But I found another man, whom I'm dating now, and he's just the most amazing man in the world." Caysi nodded, " He's a music artist, his name is Jacob Romance, maybe you've heard of him?" She questioned her friend.
 
Eric was saddened when the Caysi spoke about her ex husband, the man did seem like a decent guy but that just went show that one could never judge a book by the cover. Eric was however pleased to hear that Caysi was not mopping about and had in fact met someone else, Jacob Romance. Eric was well known in the upper circles due to his well known parents and his rich grandfather but that was mostly in the states. Since Eric moved to New Zealand he had not gotten around to mingling with the elite, but as for London Eric was well connect in the world of modeling and high end fashion and yet he had not heard of the man. "I am sorry babycakes but I have not heard of a Jacob Romance, but then again if he is a wizard muscian than that make sense since I do not care for wizard music." Eric said as he waved over a waiter and ordered a parfait and a bottle of spring water. "How did you meet Mr. Romance?" Eric as the waiter waited to take Caysi's order.
 
Caysi nodded at Eric, she thought that he might've known but that didn't matter later on in time because they would obviously meet. " No, he's not a wizard singer, he sings modern music." She gave a little laugh. " Wizard music just scares me." She shrugged her shoulders. The blonde saw the waiter waiting around so she gave her order, " A latte and a slie of cheesecake please." Caysi smiled at the waiter. " I met him in New York actually, we were in the park and just really connected." The blonde looked over at Eric. " I was just sitting in the park, he came over to me and started to talk, and we got to know eachother well, he kissed me and asked me out on a second date." The blonde blushed and turned her head away. " I think that he may be the one." She said, this would be her final marriage if it even turned out to be a marriage.
 
"A Kiss on the first date!" Eric said a little surprised, a kiss so early was extremely foward in his eyes but that may be the reason he was single still, as he took a look at his friend when she said the man may be the one. " My dear sweet child, I will be your voice of reason and say what others maybe a little afraid to say but you said the same about your now Ex husband and look how that turned out. Gaurd your heart well love, for it is a fragil thing and if broken to much it will become twisted and scornful." Eric said casually as he uncrossed his leg only to recross them but the other way, he knew what needed to be said and now that it was out there he felt some way comforted that the girl knew how he felt.
 
The blonde nodded, she knew he was going to say that for some reason; but it was true. " I agree with you, but I didn't know that Ryan had that kind of side to him.. a death eater side." Caysi shook her head as she rubbed her temple. " My ex.. well I'm not going to talk badly about him right now, but you know what I'm thinking." Caysi sighed as she crossed her legs. " This time I'm going to be careful.. I'm going to go with my head before I go with my heart. There's only so many times that poor little thing can get broken before I can't repair it." Caysi gave a weak smile to Eric. " But.. I do have a surprise..." Caysi said reaching in her bag and pulling out a cd, "Here ." She gave Eric the cd happily. " It's a surprise that I made Jacob.. and the company loves it!" Caysi nodded. " I really hope that you like it too." She said giggling like a little girl.
 
Eric was glad that Caysi was gaurding her heart now and was being smart about love especially after ryan. Eric had found ryan attractive and completely sexy and never thought that Deatheater was a turn off but to each there own. Eric received his oder which he thanked the waitor graciously before taking a drink. Caysi hand him a CD which surprised him as he did not know what it was for exactly. He knew plenty of producers and designers and so he was use to people asking him for his opinion on things. "My dear waht is this a cd of if you do not mind me asing?" Eric said with a smile as he took the Cd from the girls hand.

Caysi sighed as she got her order and looked out the window, she hated down days like these. " Oh it's a cd of my new single." She laughed, it sounded weird saying that. It made her feel like she was a star of some sort. " Please listen to it, I made it myself, but with a record label." The blonde nodded her head before taking a sip of her drink. " The company loves it, and so does my family." Caysi threw her long blonde hair back. " I think that you'll love it." She grinned at him.

Eric did not know that Casyi was a singer or trying to be oe or he would have talked to a few big wigs for her but it seemed she had found a label without his help which was a very smart move for the girl since she gotten in based off talent and not who she knew. Eric would give it alisten to see how good she was, " So when did you become a musician I did not know you had a gift with music!" Eric said with a smile as he ate a little of his food.
 
Caysi laughed before taking a bite of her food, she was a bit hungry. " Well, ever since I was little people have always asked to sing at occasions. But then since Jacob is a musician, I thought to give him a musical gift, and what better way than with a song!" She said happily, taking a sip of her drink. " It took about a month to work on, but it was so worth it!" The blonde nodded.
 
"You surprise me every time we get together! So you have a new Beau a New career is there any thing else going for you? Miss good Fortune!" Eric said with a hearty laugh and a smile as he half teased the woman. It seemed that his young friends life had turned 180 and she was doing much better for herself. Eric was truely happy for Caysi and wished that his life was something better but as it was in pieces he simply hid the fact from everyone around him it was better that way.
 
Caysi smiled and laughed with her good friend, " Come join me in a song!" She nodded, " You can be a back up singer, or you can feature in it!" Caysi said happily. " So how's everything with you?" She asked, really curious about her friend. " For the next wedding you'll help me plan too?" She joked with Eric.
 
"I am not a singer my dear I was built for the runway and high fashion, I shall leave the singing to the skilled people out there as I hope people leave modeling to the skilled as well." Eric said as he laughed a little at his friends tease, Eric had a normal singing voice and did not pride himself on his voice ever. Eric shift in his seat alittle when the subject of conversation changed to him,"I am doing good everything is doing well!" Eric lied as he smiled at Caysi wondering if the woman would see through his lie, he was a greater liar and was skilled at changing the subject and so if worst case he would find a way out of answering the question completely.
 
Caysi smiled and laughed at her friend, " If you ever feel like singing you can come to me." She said with a playful wink. " Mr. Eric Evans, you will not get past me with that lie, I grew up with three brothers and three sisters, I know that covering up face." The blonde stated. " You know that you can tell me anything, Eric." Caysi said with a warm hearted smile.
 
"I just recently ended a really close friendship with a man that I had fallen for and it is..." Eric said as he coughed a little as he held back the pain once again from the wound that Sirius had left "...He probably has found a pretty girl and is off as snuggle up and happy." Eric said as he looked away quickly to wipe the tears from his eyes. It was so hard to think that everyone around him had someone while he was forced to live his days as nothing more than a one night stand. Eric wanted to be happy... but maybe he was meant for a life full of sadness.
 
Caysi's expression on her face saddened as she heard the words that came from Eric's mouth. " Oh Eric, it's ok, you were too good for him!" She said assuringly. " Trust me pal, I would kill to have a boyfriend like you, your an amazing guy and a spectacular friend." The blonde nodded, placing her hand on his arm. The blonde then looked straight at him, " I have the perfect guy for you.." She nodded, hoping that Eric would hear her out. " My brother, Chase." She said happily.
 
Eric groaned and shook his head, " Darlin your brother is like sixteen and is way to young for me and I doubt that he could give me what I need. You are sweet but I think I will simply take some time to re evaluate my life and then get back on the horse another day" Eric said as he reached across and patted the girls hand for being so supportive and sweet to him.

"Mr. Right is waiting for me out there somewhere and I will find him when I need him most." Eric said with a sad little smile as he finished off his drink.
