Closed Catching Up or Catching Strays

Lilith didn't have many thoughts about the certain Slytherin she'd practically forced to ake a reading from her. Well nothing other than her roommate Demi had the boy on her boys to avoid list for whatever reason, to Lili Amory was someone she spoke to every now and then, but she wouldn't call him a close friend just a friend. As she stared at the boy, who was yawning and shifting his seat like he was trying to find a perfect position to fall asleep or something, Lili narrowed her eyes slightly. "C'mon settle down Amory, it's not that bad!" She told him, pushing his shoulder slightly. It really wasn't that bad, was it?

Okay so get this, Amory was in the Student Lounge doing Arithmancy or trying to take a nap, you pick which one. When a Ravenclaw sat next to him, glancing up he was surprised to find it be Lilith. They weren't strangers by any stretch of the imagination, but the girl seemed to always be busy with her closes friends or books. Okay so he'd agreed to let her practice a Tarot reading or something like that on him but now that he was supposed to think of a question for her to base the reading on he was regretting it. "Well you aren't the one who has to figure out a question, are you?" He objected, okay so he had to just hink the question she'd do the rest of the work and heavy lifting, but still.

"Fine ok I got it, is Felix in love with me?" Amory grinned as he asked the question. C'mon he had to know if his bestie was in love with him, they'd had a moment during the Halloween Feast that ended in them just laughing and both being like nope, but maybe his pookie WAS in love with him.

Lilith was so close to rolling her eyes at the Slytherin, he was being impossible. Okay well maybe he had a point, she'd made him be a participant in this situation and made him come up with a question but it couldn't be that bad. "Sure thing." She said as a response then waited for him to come up with his question. Only the question caught her rather off guard and she looked at the Slytherin with surprised expression, was she going to have to break the news to Amory that Felix probably was not in fact in love with him? Especially given the situation with Mania.

Another feeling took over however at the mention of the Gryffindor and slowly Lili put down her cards, deciding she didn't need to do this at all. "Felix, um he is doing alright.... right?" Lili tried to be as nonchalant as she could about it, but she hadn't been able to stop thinking about the situation and whether any friendship between them was now lost. It was a difficult situation and she had no idea how to try and bridge whatever gap there was, if she even could.

Amory followed as the Ravenclaw put away her cards, had he just been tricked into asking a question for.... nothing? The blasphemy. However at the tone of uncertainty and the sheepish look on the brunettes face he found himself leaning onto the table as he tried to gauge any sort of answer from her expression but came up empty. "Yeah, I think so? Aren't you guys like friends too? Why you asking me?" His eyes narrowed a little, what was going on with this situation right now and did he even want to know?

Lili retreated further into her seat as Amory seemed to lean closer, looking like he was suspicious of her or something. "Umm yeah I mean haven't been able to talk to him in a bit and I figured you two are like best bros or whatever.... you knoww?" She tried to avoid his gaze but it was really just drilling into her side. Maybe it was her own guilt over the situation that made her let out a resigned sigh. "It's a complicated situation, not mine to choose to tell you so he can tell you if he wants to, but he is doing okay right?" She hoped he was, if he wasn't Lili wasn't sure what she could do about it but she could at least try and check up this way.
