Catching up and asking the question

Adele laughed. "Oh okay then, you win." She said happily, before standing up, ready to join Riley. She took his hand into hers then smiled. "I'd love to watch the sun go down with you Mister..." She said cheekily, before leaning up to kiss him. She kept the kiss short, then pulled away, but only a little, as she looked Riley in the eyes, and smiled at him widely.

Adele then began to walk, with Riley in hand as she headed towards the beach. As they reached the cafe door she looked out at the sun set and smiled. "Wow, it looks beautiful..." Adele paused for thought, before thinking of a cheeky comment. "Heyyy, that means it's just like you.......Beautiful." Adele cuddled into Riley as she looked up at him and smiled. She stood there in silence for a few seconds as she looked at Riley, before snapping out of it, as she began to tug at Riley's hand, like a little girl hurrying up their mother. "Come On Mister...Let's Go." She said, skipping forwards.
 
Riley walked out of the cafe with Adele leading the way. He paused when he saw that the sun was already setting. He put his arm around her. " Yeah sure." He said half heartedly as she began to drag him again.

Riley ran up behind her and picked her up. He needed to get to the beach so he could propose because he had planned it to be perfect so it had to be how he planned. Running onto the sand the sun was less than half way down which mean he had time. Leading her to the water he stopped so the sea could go over their feet. " I need to tell you something Adele." He said with a nervous sigh as he looked at the sun set
 
Adele screamed with laughter as Riley ran up behind her and picked her up. She kicked her legs into the air, and screamed all the way there, as she waited for Riley to put her down. When her voice couldn't hold the screaming any longer, she stopped and listened to Riley as he spoke.

"What would you need to tell me my gorgeous boy..." She said to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Adele wondered what Riley needed to tell her. All of those bad thoughts from earlier rushed back into Adele's head. 'He's going to dump me.' Adele thought to herself once more. She managed to keep a smile going throughout her bad thoughts as she hurried Riley along. "Come On Then Boy, tell me...I can't resist those lips of yours for much longer." Adele laughed at herself, before kissing Riley's lips. "Please tell me." She said, giggling as she put on her baby voice.
 
Riley felt a lump in his throat. He swallowed hard as he realised he had nothing to say as he didnt know how to ask her. He frowned slightly as he thought. "Well we have been together for a while now and i noticed its getting serious. It kind of scares me as im not the serious type as you well know and i have been doing a lot of thinking about us." He said as he looked up and took a deep breath. He got down to his knees, unable to hold himself up to do the one knee thing. He took out the ring. "Adele will you marry me." He said looking up her with one eye squinted because of the sun.
 
Adele listened to Riley and smiled extremely widely as he got down onto his knees, she knew what was coming. And interrupted just as he said those 4 very important words. 'Will you marry me?' Adele fell to her knees, flung her arms around Riley then kissed him on the lips. This was a usual response for Adele, Riley should have been used to it by now. "Yes...Oui...Sie...YES" She shouted happily. Before pushing Riley down into the shallow sea water, then climbing on top of him slowly. When her face reached his again, she stopped and looked at him, before kissing his lips once more. Pushing her hands down on Riley's shoulders to hold her up.
 
Riley smiled widely and kissed Adele back. That had been just the response that he wanted from her. When she pushed him down he looked back at her and rested his hands on her waist, still smiling. He was about to speak when a wave crashed down on him. Shutting his eyes shut and pressing his lips together as the wave retreated back he laughed. " Ewww, salty." He laughed before sitting up and rubbing his now wet hair on her neck. " Ha ha. I got you wet." He said cheekily as winked at her. " Like i do every night." He laughed and kissed her
 
Adele laughed as a wave crashed over the pair of them. She was made to laugh even further when Riley came out with an innuendo, which she had almost expected from him. "Ah Well...it'll dry off in a minute." She said, before pushing Riley back down into the water, then falling back on top of him. "Aww, what a shame...I guess you'll have to stay wet for a little longer..." She said, in a put on baby voice. Before rolling off of Riley and into the water, and laughing. She then climbed back on top of Riley, and shook her hair about, over his face, before kissing his lips again. Adele stood up, then ran into the water, then turned her head, and looked back at Riley. "Come Catch Me...Fiancé..." She giggled, playfully, she liked calling him her fiancé.
 
Riley grinned widely and got up ran after her in the water. He didnt care he was getting his clothes wet, the time called for it and today was the exception. He laughed when he wrapped his arms around he waist and picked her up over his should and dropped her in the deep water so she wouldnt hurt herself on the sea floor. Turning around to face her Riley bent his legs so it would just be his head above the water. " Got you." He grinned
 
Adele screamed with laughter when Riley dropped her into the deep water. When she re-surfaced she swam over to him, then jumped onto him, wrapping her legs around his body, and her arms around his neck. She kissed him then laughed. "And I've got you to." Adele said, laughing at him. She always found herself having a good time with Riley, and that was just the way she liked it. Adele thought for a minute before kicking her legs wildly, so that the sea water splashed over her and Riley. When she stopped she looked at Riley, then smiled at him. "There, just how I like it...Wet, But Warm..." Adele paused for thought. "As in...the water's wet...but my Riley is so hot, that he warms me and the cold water up." Adele said cheekily, before leaning in to kiss Riley's lips again.
