With the fact that it was a brand new term, the young slytherin was glad to be back at school. The chaos of his own home, was double the chaos of this school. He liked being home, sure, but with all his brothers around it was back to being the little sheep of the family, who was never heard and never got his way. His parents loved him, he knew that, but he grew bored of the house, the chores, the craziness that became the holidays. Having spent a term away from home, and the only one homeschooled, he finally had a look into how odd their home was in the grand scheme of things. Which was really very interesting to say the least. It was understandable when he thought about, about why he chose for the most part to say so little and take part in so little. It was simply because the chaos and noise got to be just too much for him to deal with. He decided there and then, upon his return to school, that he was a solitary boy, who had no interest in the grand society that meant he was suppose to be making noise and attempting to make friends for connections as he grew older. Kvistur was not a fan of such things. He could not see the interest. He would preferred to work as something that required little of him. Which in turn would just pay enough so that he didn't starve or freeze. He was a wizard after all, he wouldn't need to pay for travel, and well, there weren't a hole lot of places he desired to go. Perhaps just Iceland, where his name, and origins were. Too early to tell though.

Kvistur sat on his bed, looking around at the dorm. He was the first to arrive back it seemed, or just the last to be awake that morning. He smiled slightly, he could hear the small hum of noise that rose from the common room. He wasn't entirely interested in being the person that had to talk with others about his holidays. They had been uneventful and he didn't really want to bring up his six brothers, he preferred at times to pretend here at school that none of them actually existed and he was an only child. Which didn't always work out, but he could try. As he heard footsteps heading towards the dorms, the boy quickly grabbed his old hand-me-down rucksack and headed out, brushing past a person who may or may not have been heading into the dorm that Kvistur had just been sitting in. He knew where he wanted to go, for him, this was simple. The North Tower, was his little bit of Hogwarts that was more often empty than other areas. It was his little area. Once he was at his little spot underneath the window, he put down his bag beside him, and opened it. He rummaged through it, trying to find something that he could do, not that he didn't mind sitting doing nothing, but it was more interesting when he could do something. He smiled to himself when he found his old card set. It was a worn old set handed down to him. There were a couple of cards missing, most were incredibly creased, but they were perfect to him. He unwrapped the rubber band from around them, and then shuffled them quickly in his hands. He knew a number of games, but for the most part he could entertain himself with the cards, and since he was alone, that was exactly what he chose to do.
