Candy for Athena

Her true, and final delivery was a young Slytherin girl. Daisy had never met her, but she was always ready to make new friends. She wasn't one that cared much about age, if the person was decent, she liked hanging out with them. Daisy supposed it would be nice for the younger ones to see a familiar face every now and then as well. Daisy pestered the Slytherins in the Great Hall, before finally stomping her way into the entrance hall (some Slytherins were not that friendly), and asking people there. Someone eventually pointed out who she now believed to be "Athena!" She called, not wanting to let the slippery snake girl get away.

Since the semester was almost over, it was important that Athena kept up with her good grades so that by the time exams came, she would be able to do her ultimate best, and eventually beat a lot of her classmates, too. So for a change of study scenery she had decided to revise in the entrance hall, where even though there were many students she could still concentrate enough not to be distracted. Until, naturally, someone called her name. Athena shut her book closed and she glanced up, before plastering a smile on her face and walking over to the older girl. She couldn't recognise her but there was still the possibility of befriending her. "Hi. You wanted to see me?" she asked, curiously looking at the Gryffindor.

Daisy grinned at the girl, glad that she was a friendly Slytherin. There were too many mean ones of those, and though she knew not all of them were like that, one always had to be wary around them on first meetings. "Sure did!" Daisy exclaimed, before taking out the Candy Cane and presenting it to Athena. "By the way, your name is incredibly amazing, what does it mean?" She asked, grabbing the note out to hand over as well.

Athena wanted to raise her eyebrow at the Gryffindor's cheerfulness, however she kept her smile, amused as the older girl took out a candy cane and showed it to her. "Thank you!" she said, opening the note that carne with the cane and reading it. Veronica sent her this? She was really sweet and Athena felt bad for not having sent her anything in return. She glanced at the Gryffindor again when she asked about her name. "It's the name of a Greek goddess. She's goddess of wisdom and warfare," she explained. "What about you? What's your name?"
