🌹 Rose Giving Can Still Burn Higher

The last name on Rāwhiti's list was another unfamiliar one, so he had resorted to searching the table at dinner. "Monday Weeks?" He called out, quietly thinking this kid must hate his parents for that name. "Anyone seen Monday Weeks?"

 

[Monday Weeks]

Monday had one of his 'fun' books open (which was subjective based on who actually thought reading was fun). He heard his name a couple of times, so he just raised his hand without looking up to signal whoever it was that he was the one that they were looking for.​

Rāwhiti was relieved when he saw an older boy raise his hand, making a beeline for him. "Here you go, rose delivery for you!" He beamed, handing over the rose and its attached note.

[Monday Weeks]

Monday glanced up when he heard that there was a rose for him. He was a little confused, but gently took the rose and note. Yellow, from his dorm mate. He wasn't sure that they were close enough to warrant roses, but perhaps he was wrong. "Thank you," Monday smiled toward the Gryffindor, set the rose and the note to the side so that he could finish up his reading. No sense in holding him up, right?​
