--History of Magic: Professor Binns wasn’t the most exciting professor in the world, but Brunhilde always preferred theory to practical. She enjoyed learning about the magical world and its past.
--Muggle Studies: Brunhilde had never grown up with a real understanding of muggles; she was raised to believe that they were foolish and dangerous. This class provided her with a different perspective on this strange people and always managed to surprise her.

Childhood {{Barndom}}​

Brunhilde Genevieve Drage was born to purebloods Valcan and Iduna Drage in Alta, Norway, along with her twin, Lief. Although Brunhilde’s childhood wasn’t engaging, she wasn’t entirely unhappy. She spent most of her time at her father’s estate reading books and avoiding her prank-loving brothers. Through her mother, she developed an interest in dancing. Following their older brothers, she and Lief attended Hogwarts Scotland. Both brother and sister were sorted into Slytherin house. Brunhilde enjoyed school, but not so much the students around her. She had few friends and never dated. The quiet girl graduated with few honors and no titles to speak of.

Adulthood {{Voksenlivet}}​

Brunhilde heavily considered enrolling in a muggle arts institution after she graduated to pursue dance. Her father did not hold high regard for this passion of hers. Under pressure, she dropped what she really wanted to do and began to work for the Ministry of Magic in Norway. She and Lief changed their last names to Sigurd, their mother's maiden name, hoping to avoid the media attention that her father was receiving in Norway, as he was involved in wizarding politics and eventually became the Norwegian Minister of Magic. Even when she later transferred to the United Kingdom, she continued her job in the Improper Use of Magic Office. In 2017, Brunhilde was offered a job in the Department of International Magical Cooperation in New Zealand. She decided it was time to put distance between herself her family and took the opportunity. Brunhilde has been working for the International Magical Office of Law since early 2018.

While Brunhilde had not always craved social interaction, she became quite lonely on this island on the outskirts of nowhere. She had been in a few relationships, none of which ended well. The witch considered leaving New Zealand and relocating elsewhere more than once. Her whole life changed when she connected and fell in love with former schoolmate, Grezhen Varius. The pair of Slytherin alumni discovered that while they had a lot of differences, they also had a lot in common, including a fascination with muggles and their ways.

Grezhen and Brunhilde were married in 2024 and have kept the news of their union quiet. Brunhilde knows that certain “loved” ones would not take too well to her marriage to a werewolf. The couple live in Wellington, New Zealand, with Grezhen’s brothers, Rakas and Azerail. Brunhilde and Grezhen adopted Giselle Lorka in June of 2026. As she is new to the entire thing, Brunhilde is very unsure of herself as a mother.
