I hear Durmstrang is rather cold this time of year. Sucks to be you brother. I thought you'd appreciate knowing I've been promoted from alternate to regular seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. At least one of us plays a real position.

Dearest James,

Congratulations are in order then. I assume the incumbent graduated and you simply stepped up, I doubt you actually unseated anyone to claim your spot. Please do not kid yourself that a seeker is the only real position on a Quidditch team. I would love to see you post match if you had no beaters watching your back.

Don't worry about the weather here, the castle itself is actually quite warm and if not there are plenty of volunteers to keep me warm. The same can not be said for you dear brother.

My regards to Mother and Father as I assume to write to them a lot more often than I do.

I was starting to get used to you being here but I must admit Ibwjll enjoy being able to walk round corners without being hexed. I can't believe mum is allowing you to flip flop between schools like this but at least you're back where you belong.

I'll think of you when i trounce Slytherin in quidditch.
