Breaking up

[Logan Stone]

Logan sat by the the lake front in shorts and a T-shirt. He had a book in his hands, a Defence against the dark arts book. As he only had three subjects he saw that DADA and Potions were the most crucial. He wanted to do well so badly but it meant constant studying and no social life. Of course this wasnt a huge change for Logan as he didnt really have a social life anyway. Although he had been spending a lot of time with Mark recently and he had been told that they were acting a lot alike, well Logan was starting to act like him not the other way around, everyone knew Logan was he smartest out of the two. Logan couldnt see the change though but he guessed he would be as he was older and Logan did kind of look up to him like the big brother he was

Lily walked along the lawn, keeping an eye out for anyone who would try and beat her up and by anyone she meant Shaylah. She still had to try and avoid the older girl as she seemed to get new bruises everytime the two of them bumped into each other.
Lily was looking around the grounds when she saw Logan not to far away. A smile spread across her face and she ran over to him. "Heya Gorgeous." She sat on his lap so he couldn't read his book. "How've you been??" She smiled and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

Logan looked up when he heard a familiar voice. He flash Lily quick smile before he got back to his book only to find a few moments later that she had pushed it away and sat on his lap. He frowned slightly. "Oh yeah good thanks. Lily i really gotta study for these exams, id prefer it if you didnt push my reading material away. You know my grades are important to me." He said as he stood her up of his lap and found the page he had just been on

Lily frowned at him. "Yeah, sure exams are important but that doesn't mean you have to study every second of every day. I barely see you anymore." Lily loved Logan but she was getting fed up of being put second. Relationships were about being put before everything else and yet Logan didn't seem to understand it at all. It made her feel like she wasn't meant to be there.

Logan made sure to finish the paragraph he as on before looking up to answer her. "Well its not my fault if i never know what your doing or where you are. Its not up to me to decide when we should meet besides i want to do well and get a good job when i leave and the only way to do that is to work hard now." He said before turning his attention back to his book

Lily grabbed the book out of his hand and threw it across the lawn. "I am trying to have a conversation with you!! How do you expect me to do that when you are more interested in that bl00dy book?!" She groaned in frustration. Lily didn't want to argue with Logan but he was making it very difficult not to. "If you were really interested in being with me then you would find out where I am and meet up with me or even better you would arrange to meet up at a certain time. It's not like we don't have lessons together or anything."

Logan stood up when Lily threw his book across the lawn. He turned and glared at her. "You didnt have to do that though. What the heck is wrong with you. You say that i should do that but what about you, i never saw you making plans so dont pin this situation all on me." Logan spat at her as he pulled out his wand. "Accio book." He said as he caught the book as it came towards him. "Hey well guess what Lily. This is what i am so if you dont like it then you know what the other option is." Logan said to her seriously as he gripped his book tightly

Lily shook her head. "I love you." She sighed. "I just wish you would pay more attention to me. I don't want to try and make plans with you because I always feel like I'm going to be getting in the way. Everytime I see you, you always seem to be studying and then you get annoyed because I distract you." Lily groaned and raised her voice unintentionally. "Well, sorry for wanting to be with my boyfriend!!"

Logan folded his arms across his chest as he listened to her. He didnt like what she was saying to him. "Well i have never said that you get in the way have i so why would you. You know i speak my mind and i do spend time with you. Its just your never around for me to actually spend more with you because your always off doing something else." Logan said raising his voice as Lily had done it

Lily shook her head. "You're making it a bit obvious that I'm getting in your way. If I wasn't then you wouldn't be shouting at me now." Lily could feel the anger bubbling up inside her and she had to struggle to hold back tears. She couldn't understand why Logan wouldn't talk to her when he was studying. "What's so difficult about putting a book down for two seconds and talking to your girlfriend?!" Her eyes were glaring up at him as she stood with her hands in fists beside her.

Logan scowled at her and felt the anger twitch through his body. He took his book and threw it in to the lake. "There, are you happy now. No book so lets talk. Oh wait no because you still be in my way." He mocked. "If you dont like being in my way then why dont you get out of it." He said sternly as he glared at her

Lily's jaw dropped as she listened to Logan's words. He suddenly sounded completely different to the Logan she had been dating for the past year and a half. "How can you be such a pig?! I have never stopped you from studying in the past but you're taking the mik!! I have spent too many nights sitting alone in the common room when I could have been with you but what were you doing?! Oh yeah-studying!! As always!!" Lily was finding it hard to hold in her anger and she couldn't stop herself from letting it out.
