Breakfast anyone?

Sandie took a seat at the Slytherin table, stiffling a yawn and trying to keep her gray eyes wide open, so much so she looked a little like a demented owl. She had got no sleep whatsoever the night before, there had been thunder and heavy rain. Sandie slept below a window in her dorm room, and it had constantly bet against it. Sandie could usually sleep through anything, which showed how bad it was. She had been so sure her window was going to cave in! So, unable to get to sleep, Sandie had gotten up earlier than usual, 6:30, gotten a shower and flung on her uniform. So now, she was early for breakfast. There were only a few people in the Great Hall, and she was the only one at the Slytherin table, so she hoped someone would show up soon.
Helping herself to a few sausages, brown sauce, two potato scones and a goblet of orange juice, she began to tuck in, having to push hair out of her food every few bites as she'd worn it down today.

Rory walked blinking into the Great Hall, rubbing sleep out of her eyes along the way. The young girl was far from a morning person and hardly ever made it to breakfast, but for some reason, she had woken up early today and been unable to get back to sleep. Gathering her long hair back in a messy pony tail Rory had made her way down to breakfast, hoping that food would make her slightly less sleepy.

She arrived at the Slytherin table shortly after, and seeing only one other person there, she decided to go sit by the girl as she recognized her from her dorm. Grabbing a bit of toast and some juice Rory took a seat saying, "Hey, Sandie right? Mind if I sit here? Some crazy storm we had last night, huh?"

Carla marched into the great hall, miserable after a bad nights sleep. She felt like picking on someone, and two first years just happened to be in her way.
'Hey, budge up.' She said bossily, surprising herself as normally she was quite polite.
'What are you two doing up so early?' She squidged herself in up next to them, dangling off the edge.

Sandie was cutting up a sausage when someone else arrived at the Slytherin table. Looking up, she spotted Rory, one of the girls from her dorm. Sandie smiled warmly at her. "Morning Rory" she greeted her. "Yep it's Sandie, and nope not at all, I've been hoping for some company" she replied, sticking a piece of sausage into her mouth as Rory spoke about the storm. "God, it was mental, did you get any sleep?" she asked her room-mate as an older looking student arrived at the table and told them both to budge up. Sandie raised an eyebrow and was about to reply with 'Not unless you'd like to re-phrase that', she was tired and not in the mood for older students thinking they could boss her about. But the girl had probably been kept awake by the storm the night before too, so Sandie decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and she moved up a little. "Well, I got no sleep atall last night, because of the storm, so I decided on an early breakfast after lying staring at my ceiling for hours" she replied, finishing off her sausage and washing it down with a gulp of orange juice.
