Sandie took a seat at the Slytherin table, stiffling a yawn and trying to keep her gray eyes wide open, so much so she looked a little like a demented owl. She had got no sleep whatsoever the night before, there had been thunder and heavy rain. Sandie slept below a window in her dorm room, and it had constantly bet against it. Sandie could usually sleep through anything, which showed how bad it was. She had been so sure her window was going to cave in! So, unable to get to sleep, Sandie had gotten up earlier than usual, 6:30, gotten a shower and flung on her uniform. So now, she was early for breakfast. There were only a few people in the Great Hall, and she was the only one at the Slytherin table, so she hoped someone would show up soon.
Helping herself to a few sausages, brown sauce, two potato scones and a goblet of orange juice, she began to tuck in, having to push hair out of her food every few bites as she'd worn it down today.
