He started dating the star Seeker of the Ravenclaw team, the two often competing to win the house cup for their respective houses every year. He was also the dueling champion in his year nearly every year, losing twice in third and fifth year respectively. His parents were Ministry workers.
His schooling ended abruptly after sixth year, when his parents were lost to Death Eaters. Brayden dropped out of school that year to take care of his year old baby sister, managing with the help of his girlfriend Paisley. Brayden was accepted into the Ministry soon after he turned 18, and he made a good living for him and his younger sister as they grew. He and Beth were very close, even after his girlfriend broke up with him when Beth was six.
Brayden and Beth stayed in Edinburg for several years. Things went well, until an incident at the Ministry nearly cost him his life. Afraid that the attack on his life would threaten Beth, he left his sister a week after she turned 17, leaving their home and bills in her name and paid through the next year, giving her time to find her own feet.
Brayden withdrew with the other half of his savings to New Zealand, hiding out on a little patch of land. He was self sufficient, nervous and paranoid for several years, making a living off of woodwork and freshly grown produce. A little over a decade later, Brayden made the decision to break his solitude and bought the Hog's Head. He sold his land and house to live at the Hog's Head, enjoying the new life and the sense of family he gets from his group of employees. He likes to think they're a rather close knit family, doing what he can to help take care of those working for him.
