Minoas was thankful that Gwen was still checking her book, as he didn't want to notice his ears blushing when she told him that she would cheer for him. Still feeling that warmth at his ears, he let a big smile as Gwen couldn't understand how he could be hating history even if that was about specific eras. "It's so hard remembering all those dates, which event took place before or after another, plus historical names are too many as well and I can't even pronounce half of them." he explained a few of the many reasons he wasn't enjoying the subject. He was alright with his country's history but foreign history was another case.
Listening to her love about reading and how her family was either supporting that or discouraging it, he understood why he hadn't see her around a lot. "I don't see anything bad in that. Books can be a good companion indeed, although I don't have the patience to finish them. I usually go straight to the chapters that interest me, ignoring the rest ones." he said knowing that that may sound like sacrilege to Gwen but it was true. "That explains a lot why I have only seen you in classes." he commented about her habit of reading a lot of books.
He took a seat on the bench, making Chewy meow again as he was waiting still for some treat but Minoas ignored him. "Do you have many siblings? Are they attending here?" he asked as he was taking off his laps, Chewy's demanding paws.
"Hmm, maybe professor's A'Dare office has something interesting. I didn't have any problem with him. My finally was alright when I found him." he stated as he had found Chewy as a kitten, alone and soaked, wandering lost. If he hadn't find him he would be probably dead now from cold. Chewy started chewing the end of Minoas' robes and the Gryffindor grinned. "And that's how he took his name. You might have wondered why the carpet in the common room has asymmetric finishes. Well...here is the answer." he said while taking his robes carefully, away from Chewy's teeth. "I was glad that my family didn't have any issue, keeping him. It would be rediculous if they had when they run a ranch of flying horses and griffins." he revealed, thankful that his father at least was into magical creatures and liked animals as well. "Are your parents both into magic?" he asked her just to learn more about her.
