It had been about a week since Oliver had been at Hogwarts. So far, he had enjoyed everything about it. The lessons were a bit boring if he was being honest, but other than that, he enjoyed meeting his roommates and hoped to make some friends during his time at school. The new Gryffindor had been curious about the forbidden forest, though he didn't dare to go in there alone. However, the boy decided to climb up a tree that was a few trees down from the entrance of the forbidden forest. It had been a medium sized tree, with different levels of branches. Ollie was sat on one of the middle branches, looking out towards the forbidden forest, swining his legs a little. He wondered what was in that forest.

Aiya had only been attending Hogwarts for just over a year, but she was admittedly starting to get sick of its walls. She much preferred being outside, unless it was raining of course, as she wouldn't want her hair to get wet. The girl didn't have much else to do other than homework, and so she wandered outside, admiring how nice of a day it was. She enjoyed looking at the plants, and even the weeds that were growing in the grass. She looked up from the ground and at the trees, which all stood quite tall and their branches hung over her head. However there was something in one of the trees, and Aiya couldn't quite make out what it was at first. She immediately headed over to it, using her hand to shield her eyes from the sun as she did so. As she noticed it was a person that she hadn't seen before, she giggled a little. "What are you doing up there!?" she shouted towards the person, unsure if perhaps climbing trees was breaking a rule or not, although she didn't really care.

Oliver looked down when he heard a voice below. His brows furrowed in confusion, taking a second to figure out what was being said. He grinned. "Just hanging around" Ollie called back with a chuckle, as he swung his legs back and forth a little. Oliver had a thing for climbing over things, whether it was the monkey bars or climbing trees; he always found joy in that. "The view up here is pretty cool actually!" Ollie then called out to the girl below. He hadn't seen the girl at the sorting ceremony, so he had assumed that maybe the girl was older than him.

Aiya couldn't help but chuckle slightly at the boy's pun. As he said the view was pretty cool, Aiya was a little curious. She wondered what he was seeing and if he could see the other side of the lake. She looked at the branches, trying to figure out the way that he managed to get up there, so that she could join him. "How did you get up there?" she asked. "Do you mind if I join you?"
