🌹 Rose Giving Bouquet for the Head Boy

Susie was up bright and early on Valentine's morning, and with a basket of roses in one hand (and one in her hair), she was ready to start her deliveries. She had decided to start at the top of the castle and work her way downwards - anybody she couldn't find along the way would probably be at breakfast. "Delivery for Hugo!" she called out, as a group of Ravenclaws emerged from their common room. If he wasn't among them, maybe someone would go grab him. "Valentine's Day delivery for Hugo Stark-West!"

it was valentines day and hugo had his arms full of flowers. As much as he hd wanted to spend the day with teddy hangng out somewhere just the two of them they had both decided to share the love and sign up for rose giving, which usually was a fairly fun day. at least he was happy he would have an excuse to track his boyfriend down at least once today. it was early and he had a vague game plan which started with a good breakfast. he was just leaving the ravelclaw tower when he heard his name called. It was still slightly weird that, as head boy now, he was someone who was recognisable in the school, not various shades of invisible like he had been the last several years. he changed his direction slightly and walked over to the girl. "Good morning. you are up and on to the roses early today" he said. Slightly impressed at her commitment. his deliveries were unlikely to start until after his morning coffee.

"Wow! You've got a ton," Susie said, before suddenly realising the head boy must've been delivering as well. Duh. She blushed, reaching into her basket. She didn't have to look at the labels to find Hugo's roses. There were six of them, all pink, tied together with a piece of string. "These are for you. Um - if you've got a free hand. I can hold the others, if you want."​

Hugo nodded slightly as the girl said he had a ton"Yeah. I haven't started delivering yet, though you seem to have even more, I guess that is why you are onto them early" he said. looking at the girls basket which seemed to be overflowing with roses almost as many pink ones as yellows which was odd. "did you sign up for double deliveries" he asked when she picked up nearly all of the pinks he was expecting her to take one out and give it to him. maybe she had bundled them by colour to make deliveries easier. however she handed them all to him. to say he was suprised was an understatement six red roses , for him. he had never recieved that many flowers before, total roses ever. He had been nervous with the rose he had sent Teddy, but he was pretty sure he needn't have been if he was doing something like this. "wow! they are all for me?" he asked, covering his mouth in shock as his face decided now was the right time to try and copy the flowers colour-wise. he put the bucket he was carrying down to take a hold of them. Before reading the note. Wishing Teddy was here and he could thank him properly. "Thank you very much. they are lovely" he said to her.

Susie giggled. She, too, had briefly thought she had twice as many roses to deliver as everybody else. If she'd known she was allowed to send a whole bouquet, she might've done that for Lili, but oh well - there was always next time. "Someone really likes you, huh?" she said. The roses weren't even for her, but she was still giddy with excitement watching Hugo read the note. Delivering all these was going to be so much fun. "You're welcome. I gotta run - but Happy Valentine's Day!"​
