Saphire sat shivering in the cold B&B room, it was quite a neat little room, but it had a dull, damp feeling. Like an old attic you havn't been into in a while. she pulled the covers closer around her as she led in bed, just thinking of everything that had been going on recently. The sheets itched, and she wanted so much just to be back at the Mintkin's family home. But she knew that wasn't possible.

She led staring at the clock, which seemed to move slower with every second it passed. Sam hadn't said anything about being late back, he was never usually late. What if something had happened? What if theres been an accident? Crazy thoughts of extreme scenarios ran through her head.

She closed her eyes tightly, and tried to block out the world, and the thoughts that came with it. When a loud and sudden knock shook her.

Taneaka knocked on the door of the dingy room and suddenly understood why the 'Sam' person had been so desperate. She immediately wiped her hand on her bag and sneered at the place. It was truly disgusting on many levels. Not at all what she was used to. She had been to the ladies left behind by the new employees of her husband but they weren't usually in a place this bad. Not that she could remember anyway.

Taneaka got bored as the person inside failed to open the door immediately, as she often did when things weren't going her way, and she removed her wand from her bag and opened the door herself before walking in calmly. The inside room was not much different from the outside. It was dull, damp and in dire need of a makeover, not that it would ever receive one of course. If they were to be helped then they wouldn't be here for long, if not then they wouldn't even remember she existed.

Taneaka looked at the younger woman before her and her heart sank. She was a pretty girl, that was for sure but her appearance was definitely not the best it could be. Not even close in fact. Taneaka doubted her hair was even brushed. "I assume you are Saphire Nimph?" She had done her research to find the boys' girl that he was so worried about. It wasn't hard, the boy obviously knew nothing of trying to hide or protect ones family. 'I am here with news of your, fiancee."

Saphire rolled to the edge of the bed and sat up, immediately getting a head rush, probably because she hadn't actually eaten since the day before. She pulled herself to her feet, trying to make the clothes she was wearing look a little more decent.

She was just about to open the door, when it swung open, nearly into her, and a strange woman who she had never seen before walked in. She looked quite wealthy from the way she was dressed, and so certainly wasn't anything to do with the B&B.

"Yeah." She stood staring at the woman, not really knowing what to say. "Sam? Why? What's happened?!" She felt her face flushing, and she felt quite dizzy.

Taneaka smiled in her curious and devious way. "Oh darling, don't you worry. I am here to help you my dear." She looked around the nasty little room one more time, putting her nose to the air in disgust. "Do you mind terribly if I explain in my own home rather than," She paused, looking around the small room to make a point. "Here?"

Taneaka wouldn't stay in this place any longer than she had to. She looked around, trying to find out where all of their stuff was. It seemed they didn't have much. Taneaka almost shivered with the thought of living like this. Barely any things and not even a place of their own. Luckily for her, she was born with everything she needed in life and so were her children. That was why she went along with her husbands business, it brought the necessities to people in need.

Saphire could tell that the woman knew she was far above her own circumstances. She felt like a small child again, in front of a much more powerful adult. She tugged at her sleves as she followed the woman's gaze around the room, seeing what she was disgusted at.

To help her? Who was this woman? Saphire had no idea what Sam had gotten into, but she was sure it wasn't good. And the trust she had layed in Sam, was flickering. "You're home? umm, do you mind please telling me who you are? I don't... I don't really want to go anywhere with someone I don't even know the name of. Even if that does mean staying here!" Her words may have been definative, but her tone certainly wasn't. She was cold, hungry, tired and scared. And she couldn't cope with many more surprises.

Taneaka rolled her eyes, the woman was acting like a child too scared to move. "Darling girl, anywhere is better than here." She sighed and complied to her wishes. "I am Mrs Kalforovich, you will learn my first name depending on how well Samuel does in the next two days. My family has taken upon the job to help you out of our situation." Taneaka walked around the room and waved her wand. Things began to float into a trunk that had pulled itself from under a cupboard and opened for the things to enter it.

"I believe you are about a month pregnant now and, with you two lovebirds being so unceremoniously removed from your living accommodations, I'd suggest you take a seat and allow me to take care of the packing." She turned back to the blonde woman and eyed her clothes. "You can change when we get to my house, you will be staying there for the next two days." She knew how this would go if there was a refusal, she didn't like the idea of knocking out a pregnant woman but waking up with Egyptian cotton sheets and immense service would help her more than this place.

Saphire waited and listened until this, Mrs Kalforovich, had finished her little speach. "Umm, actually I'm two months pregnant." Probably not the best thing to say, considering what this person was like. She still didn't trust the intentions of whoever this was, but she knew she would probably just have to go along with her.

"To be honest, I'd really rather do my packing myself. After all, I don't really want some person I've never met before seeing all the grubby clothes I've been living in for days." she giggled softly, holding her head in her hand as a spell of dizziness fell over her again. Wobbling slightly, "really, I uhh..."

Taneaka rolled her eyes, this woman was beginning to annoy her. By the time she began wobbling Taneaka had had enough. The woman glided across the floor towards the woman and pointed her wand. She was in the perfect place to catch her as the woman fell unconscious into her arms. She placed the woman on her sheets before continuing her packing for her.

Taneaka then called out for her elf. "Nibbles, darling, please take this bag home and place it in the guest room I set up." She waited until the elf had gone before picking up the woman. Luckily she was light, Taneaka guessed she hadn't eaten properly in a while. She then apparated home, straight into the adult living room and placed the girl on the sofa. "Nibbles!" The house elf appeared and ordered a variety of foods to be delivered to the room.

Taking out her wand, Taneaka sat in her chair and revived the girl. She waited for her to panic. This was not the first person who had passed out in their place and had woken in her living room. She watched as the girl went from fuzzy to panic within a few seconds. "Don't panic, you got dizzy and passed out do I brought you here." Just as she finished speaking the elf returned with a tray of sandwiches and finger foods. "Leave them on the table." Taneaka turned to the girl with a maternal look on her face. "You looked hungry, you should eat." She smiled nicely before turning back to her elf. "Can you bring Andy into the room please?"

Saphire felt her body go limp, and the dull room seemed to dim even further as she fell.

When she woke up, her eyes took a few seconds to adjust, and her muscles to realize they were awake, which was when she realized she was no where she had expected to be! "Whow whow whow... what the... w... eh!!" she scrabbled up from where she had been led and gazed around the huge room, oblivious to what the other woman was saying to her. Only concerned as to where she was.

After gazing like a lost child around the room, she felt the spinning coming back into her head. Only hearing the end of the womans sentence about food, and immediately diving for the food, kneeling by the side of the table as she eat.

Taneka smiled as she watched the girl eat. She knew she would be helping this girl for a while after the two days if Sam made through, and she hoped he made it through. She recognised how the girl was, she would let herself waste away by accident if there wan't someone to stop her. The smile turned into a grin as the door opened and her four year old girl ran in and leapt at her. "Hey there baby." She hugged her daughter and placed her on her lap so she could see Saphire too.

Taneaka waited until Saphire had finished eating before speaking again. "That better?" She offered a nice smile, not her usual smirk or mischievous grin, and gestured for the woman to sit back on the sofa. She then placed Andromeda on the floor and conjured up her writing things. Her daughter loved to write, or, at least, try to. She watched her little fingers grab the chunky crayons and she began to colour in her book.

Taneaka then turned back to the blonde woman. "Would you like me to explain now or would you like to rest a bit?" Now that she was in her own, nice and clean, home with her family she was in a better mood. Taneaka always felt calmer on her own turf. "I have your room set up for you and your things are already in away for you." She decided that, at some point, she would take this girl shopping. After seeing her things she was in no doubt that the girl needed knew, nice things.

It seemed like heaven, being able to eat, and not just eat, but fill herself with food! Saphire knew she probably looked like a pig, and was probably making a huge mess, but she really didn't care! Delving into the various sandwiches and crisps and everything!

When she had finished eating - for the time - she realized there was a small child in the room. "Oh, hello." she smiled the boy. "Umm, yeah. Much better thank you." She pulled herself back up onto the sofa, feeling a little happier now. "Yes actually! Iwould very much like you to tell me whats going on!" she giggled uncomfortably, showing her unease for the situation.

Taneaka smiled and leant back in her chair. "I cannot tell you the entire story, that is for your fiance to tell. I can, however, tell you that my husband is in the business of helping people such as yourself." She tried to think of a way of putting it that didn't sound like blackmail, that was basically what it was.

"My husband works with young men, between the ages of seventeen and around their mid twenties. They help him out with his business, please do not ask me what it is, that is another thing I cannot tell you. The people he works with were all in tricky situations. The last man we had join us, apart from your fiance, was a man named Gareth. His parents died and he was left with next to no money and custody of his three younger sisters." Taneaka paused and took a breath. She didn't like explaining things, she loved nothing more than the people who asked to sleep first.

"We provide you with a home and financal support until you get on your feet. My husband will help Sam find a job while I help you through your pregnancy. Don't worry, I've been through it three times I know what you're going through. You don't need to worry about paying off debt, that will be done over time with the work that Sam will do for my husband." She went over the things she had said in her mind. She didn't think she had missed anything. "Do you have any questions?" Taneaka had had quite a long day and she wanted nothing more than to go and read to her daugher as she fell asleep.

Saphire felt her stomach sink, she felt as if Sam had just cast her aside, and the fact he hadn't even mentioned it to her just made her angry. "Well, I suppose not." She lent back with a vacant look on her face, while her mind was franticly trying to work out her situation. "I wish I hadn't asked" She muttered under her breath.

"So, what happens now? Where do I go? Who am I supposed to be?!" Feeling a bit like one of those people in muggle films, who got taken away by 'higher powers' and made to do weird things, and change their identity!

Taneaka sighed and stood, gracefully making her way over to the poor girl. She had to feel sorry for her, this was all out of the blue after all. "My dear, your fiance learnt and agreed tot his about two hours ago. There was no time to tell you. That is my job." She was often faced with the question, why didn't he tell me? So she knew most people were thinking it.

"You are who you are, there is no need to change you." Taneaka took the girls hand and smiled comfortingly. What she needed was a good sleep and some rest, panic wasn't good for the baby. "You stay here with me until your Samuel comes back. When he does you will move into a lovely house down the road with more than enough room for you and you're growing family. I will stop by every few days to make sure you're alright and introduce you to some of the other women in your position. Don't worry my dear, you are in good hands." Taneaka stood and held out a hand to help Saphire up. "My suggestion would be to come with me to your room and have a nice relaxing sleep on it. This worry is not good for your child."

Whatever Sam was up to, it can't have been good. Saphire still was very uncomfortable with the whole situation, but she trusted this woman now. She seemed authauritative, but in a kind way. "ok" It was all she could think of to reply, this woman was only doing her job. "Yeah, yeah I need sleep" she rubbed her hand across her forehead, she was building quite a migrane.

Taneaka stood and smiled. "I have set up the Master guest room for you. I'm sure you'll love it." She waited for Saphire to stand, making sure the woman wasn't lightheaded before leading her through the halls of the house. She ignored the questions from the portraits as she passed them and headed to the staircase by the door. The staircase was Taneaka's favourite part of the house, you could make an amazing entrance just by walking down it, and she often did.

The woman lead Saphire up the regal staircase and three doors along until they reached her favourite guest room. The room was one of Taneaka's prized re-modellings within the house, only second to her own room and her daughters. "Here, I have laid out some pyjamas for you, I think they're about your size." She smiled and let the woman appreciate the room. "In the morning you can find your clothes in the closet, head down the stairs and to the right and join us in the kitchen." She smiled comfortingly before leaving the room, closing the door behind her.

Saphire was already feeling a little better from just eating something, the dizziness had almost past and as she followed Mrs Kalforovich through her amazing house she kept up with her well, and her head was starting to clear from its fuzziness, although she was still craving a comfortable night's sleep.
As she entered the room, it didn't feel real. It was like she had slipped into her imagination, and got a bit too carried away. The only places she'd ever slept were at her aunt's old bungalow, in Sam's tiny room sharing a single bed, and in the tiny B&B she had come from. Gazing around, a new dizziness cast itself over her, "Oh my... This, this is amazing! Thank you!" holding her face and going to sit on the bed before she did keel over, "Really, thank you so much." She held back the tears, only because she knew how inappropriate it would be to cry in front of someone like this. She waited for the woman to leave before putting on the soft pyjamas and slipping underneath the warm sheets. Before she knew it, she was sound asleep.
