Dominik was finding himself increasingly bored lately. Everyone seemed so caught up in the tournament, but honestly he just wan't all that into it. Nic and Yvan were in class at the moment and this was his free afternoon so that only added to his boredom. Not wanting to sit on the boat another moment he headed up to the castle, hoping to find something that would alleviate this restless feeling he had.

He wandered around the ground floor of the castle for about half an hour and even grabbed himself a quick snack from the kitchen, with no help from those pesky little house-elves. After another 15 minutes or so had passed, Dom found himself on what he believed was the 4th floor, but he'd lost track of how far he'd actually traveled into Hogwarts. Figuring he was lost and in no huge hurry to have to leave, Dominik took to looking at the paintings that lined the walls of the corridor.

Rhyspa was heading towards the common room. Her books were cradled in her arm and Chaos was at her heels. It always amazed her how he was almost always roaming the halls, when in the morning, he was lazing about on her bed. He must sneak out with other students she concluded. Chaos mewed and rubbed against her leg. Rhyspa smiled and laughed at him.

"C'mon," Rhyspa said to the black cat as the rounded a corner. As she looked up from the floor, Rhyspa saw a boy she had never seen before. She assumed he was from either Durmstrang or Hogwarts Scotland. He was looking at the many paintings that lined the walls.

Rhyspa walked up beside him and said, "Hello."

Dominik was pulled out of 'trance' when he heard a female voice. He turned and saw a girl standing beside him who he figured was probably about 14 or 15 years old. He flashed his award winning smile and said to her, "Why hello there! And who might you be? I don't believe I've met you and I would surely remember meeting someone as lovely as yourself."

Rhyspa smiled back at the the boy and extended her hand. "Rhyspa Aireous," she grinned. "I'm a fourth year Hufflepuff." She tried not to giggle or blush but she couldn't help but blush. Rhyspa had never met anyone so good-looking before.

"What's your name?" Rhyspa asked.

Dominik took the girls hand that she had extended and beant slightly to give a light kiss to the back of her hand. "It's a pleasure Rhyspa!" he said as he gave her a crooked grin, "I'm Dominik...Dominik Marinescu. Sixth year from Durmstrung."

Rhyspa blushed furiously as the older boy kissed her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Dominik," Rhyspa smiled. "So, you're a sixth year? That's cool. So are you sixteen or seventeen?"

Rhyspa hoped she wasn't being too nosy, but she was curious.

"Sixteen my lovely lady! And how old are you might I ask?" Dom said, still holding on to Rhyspa's hand.

Rhyspa didn't seem to notice that Dominik still grasped her hand. "I'm fourteen," she replied. "So, whats Durmstrang like?"

Dominik gave the girls hand a small squeeze and then gently released it. "Hmm, let's see Durmstrung is cold, cold, oh and did I mention that it was cold?" he joked as he chuckled slightly. "There's not much too Durmstrung I guess. It's in the middle of the frigid nowhere so it's rather boring." Dom furrowed his brow as he thought about how much he didn't want to return to back to his old school, but it wouldn't be so bad as he only be there for another year. "How about New Zealand? Is this where you are from originally?" he asked curiously.

Rhyspa laughed as Dominik said it was very cold, quite a few times. "I like it here, but I was born in Ireland," she said. "It's nice up there, hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I live in New Zealand most of the time now as of late." Rhyspa brushed her hair back behind her ear.

"So, what do you plan on pursuing as a career?" she inquired.

"I've never been to Ireland, but I've heard it's beautiful country up there. And judging from the view from here I can see that they were right!" Dom gave a wink and flashed the girl a smile. He thought about her question for a few moments, pondering over several answers, though he could only come up with one that he really longed for. "My best mate Nicolae and I hope to play quidditch for the Bulgarian team. I think Nic wants to be a bit like Viktor Krum, but I just want the thrill of the game." Dom knew that this future would greatly dissappoint his father, but he never had been one for making things easy for his parents.

If it was even possible, Rhyspa's face flushed a deeper shade of red. She was not used to flattery.

"Quidditch for Bulgaria, huh," Rhyspa smiled. "Sounds interesting. I used to play quidditch for the house team, but I got too bogged down with my studies and what not." She frowned, Rhyspa really missed playing. She had her beaters bat in her trunk in her room.

"What position do you play?" Rhyspa asked.

"Oh that's a shame." Dom said sincerely as he placed his hand on Rhyspa's shoulder. "Maybe you could pick it up again soon. And I play beater. What about yourself?" he asked as he flashed her another grin.

"It is indeed," Rhyspa frowned. "I love the sport, it's thrilling. I haven't played in a year." Rhyspa wondered if her broom was in her trunk too. "Come to think of it, I haven't flown in a year."

Rhyspa ran a hand through her hair and smiled. "I play beater too," she grinned when she found Dom played the same position. "Maybe we could get together later and play a game?" she suggested.

Dominik gave the girl a warm smile and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I would love that," he whispered in her ear. Then a thought struck him and a grin spread widely across his face. "What are you doing for the Yule Ball?" he asked slyly.

Rhyspa face was still a light shade of red as she talked to Dominik. He was quite attractive and very charming. She was very surprised when he asked her what she was doing for the ball.

"I usually go with my friends," Rhyspa smiled. "Are you planning to make an appearance?"

Dominik saw his chance to strike. This was easier than he had anticipated. "Well I was planning on making a short appearance, but I unfortunately find myself without anyone to escort so I will probably have to skip it. That is, unless you would do me the honor of letting me escort you." he said with his flashy smile.

Rhyspa tried to keep a frown from forming on her face as Dominik said he might not show up. He then proceeded to subtly asked her if she would accompany him.

Rhyspa smiled and said, "I'd like that very much."

Dom gave Rhyspa a wink and flashed her a wide grin. "I was hoping you would say that. So...I need to know what color your dress is." he said, wanting to know what kind of flower would be appropriate to go with her ensemble. "Where should I meet you. Here perhaps?" Dominik asked curiously.

Rhyspa smiled and said, "My dress is a dark champagne color." She thought for a moment on where they should meet and agreed. "Yes, here is fine," Rhyspa grinned.
