Amelia was bored.Plain and simple. She was utterly bored. She had been sitting down in the SLytherin Common room for the past hour and a half and she was bored out of her mind. She had already taken a bunch f photos, she had done some exercise and now she had nothing to do.She was close to pulling her hair out at the moment. All she wanted to do was come home and spend time with her family. She really missed them and she wanted to experience her younger siblings loudness and get teased by her older brothers. She had always looked forward to coming to Hogwarts. Her brothers had had so much to say about it and Amelia thought it was one of the biggest lets downs in her life. She didn't liked her house or any of the people in it.Classes were okay but she usually skipped them because she was bored brainless and it's not fun sitting by yourself in class. She had virtually made no friends because she had stuck to the wrong people at the beginning.Well she had met one person. He seemed nice and maybe a friendship could blossom between the two

After wondering around the castle,Amelia found herself at the library. It was a place she didn't go often as she didn't like reading much and since she never really did homework she had seen no reason to come to this part of the castle. When she walked in she was momentarily shocked at the amount of books there. She had never been in a library before and to see so many books in the one place at the one time was a big shock to Amelia who had only see the odd book here and there. She walked further in slowly and cautiously. There were some other people in the library also, some seemed to be studying while others were reading.Amelia walked to some bookshelves and took a book at random out.It was pretty dusty and she started to cough when she inhaled the dust when she attempted to see what the name of the book was. After a lot of scrubbing she still couldn't make out the name so she opened it instead. After a few minutes of reading she guessed it was about some sort of history.Sighing she put the book back in the case and sat down on a couch obviously where people were supposed to read

Jessie didn't really know what to do with her spare time. During her first term at Hogwarts she had made such little impact on the schools social scene she might as well not been there. Something about the Hufflepuff common room didn't feel homey to her, which was bad as a friendless first year the common room should be just about the best place for her to be but despite the big fat arm chairs and cosy underground atmosphere, Jessie just didn't feel the urge to spend hours on end snuggled inside it. So when the night was young and Jessie could no longer stand the quiet discussions of her housemates she left the comfortable confines of Hufflepuff house and headed for the library. The only place in the school she felt any solace. She made her way out of the lower castle and made her way up to the fourth floor. She didn't know the castle all that well but the way from the common room the the library was engraved in her memory for ever, it was a route she had traveled many times in her short time at Hogwarts. She rounded a corner and made her way into the library and began to peruse the vast selection of books. She picked up a introductory Potions book and took it over to a table, she wasn't alone on the table, but as long as she kept to herself maybe she wouldn't be noticed.
