Personality:
Blue is a quiet girl who is usually lost in her own thoughts, which can make her struggle to communicate with other people. Her vague demeanor can lead to people believing her to be dim, which she sometimes uses to her advantage. She prefers people underestimate her, as it allows her to see more and gain a deeper understanding of the world around her. Curiousity is her driving force, and Blue has a one-track mind when something is important to her, and can easily be consumed when an obsession hits her.

Blue has a habit of becoming easily distracted. This does not make her the most academically gifted person, but she notices things others may not. Instead of absorbing information she's trying to read in a book, Blue is more likely to fixate on minor details, such as the font design or paper textures. She is perceptive when it comes to noticing feelings of others, but can be blunt in how she approaches the subject.

She doesn't know why she was sorted into Gryffindor - she is only brave when she had no other options. Blue is exceptionally stubborn, and getting her to do something she doesn't want to is an exercise in futility. She can be very calculating in her actions, but often finds it easier to go along with the tide and only argue when she feels strongly about something. Very little phases Blue for very long, and she tends to react to negativity with a confused curiosity.

Blue's hobbies can be considered strange and unconventional at times, and she is always ecstatic when somebody shows interest in what she enjoys. She loves any creature that is scaly or slimy, and her favourites are frogs and butterflies. She has found that she rather likes doing things that her family don't approve of, although can't decide whether she's doing it on purpose or if her family just don't like anything that Blue genuinely enjoys. She likes to dig up and collect animal bones, and then creates jewelry or art pieces with them. Her favourite activity is going on adventures with her pet frog and decorating his increasingly elaborate enclosure, which now takes up more space in Blue's section of the dorm than her other belongings.

History
Aoi Hoshino was never supposed to exist, and she is fully aware of this fact. As the daughter of Jun Hoshino and a muggle woman, Blue grew up knowing that she didn't have a place in the family. She has never met her mother, as the muggle woman was Obliviated after giving birth to Blue and has no memory of having a daughter. Blue was largely forgotten about for the majority of her early life and left to navigate the difficulties of being half-muggle in a prejudiced environment for most of her life.. She showed magical talent at a young age, and was passed around among various wizarding relatives - rarely seeing her actual parents, until she was sent to Mahoutokoro. She attended school there until she was ten years old, and then she was sent to live in New Zealand with her father's ex-wife for unknown reasons.
