Hands in his pockets Luthor walked down the dark alley of Bleak Street, waiting for the girl to appear. They were supposed to be having another of their famous 'play dates' even though the girl new by now that Luthor didn't enjoy being around other people. He liked being alone with the small animals, watching as their blood trickled onto the ground. His eyes grew colder than the snow on the ground as he thought about the latest creature that had lost it's life simply because he had wanted it to be so. A few more years and he would be going to school, something Sigourney had more than warned him would be a difficult challenge for him because he would have to 'act' normal despite the fact that he was far from that and had always been quite different from the other children that roamed around. His presence in Bleak Street was enough since no creature would dare come near him, even the Hags feared his name but that was simply because they were as much his prey as the birds and rats that roamed the streets.

"Epiphany, where are you?" Luthor said coldly as he kicked the snow on the ground. She was always late and that drove Luthor crazy since punctuality was something he held highly in other people. His eyes grew colder as he thought about the day when he'd finally be able to kill the girl and watch her blood fall onto the ground. Luthor did not know when that day would come but he knew that it would eventually be within his grasps and that nobody would be able to stand in his way. Luthor looked up as he saw an icicle hanging from a nearby bench, walking over towards it he pulled it off and began playing with the pointed in imagining the sounds a creature would make as he pierced it's flesh with the icy instrument of death. He couldn't wait for the day when he had his wand and could fully realize his magic potential, it had been known for years that Luthor did in fact possess magic which meant that it would only be a matter of time before he could start using the darkness that he was destined to learn.

Epiphany was always late on purpose. She loved to pasture the young boy to no end. The more angry Luther became the happier Epiphany was. Epiphany was to one day marry Luther. Something that made Epiphany want to vomit every time she thought about it but still it had to be. This didn't mean of course that she had to respect him. He was her best friend, something that Epiphany found quite amusing because it gave her an excuse to do whatever she wanted with him. If he got hurt because of her "adventures" she would always pull out the big eyes and pouted lips and say that she didn't mean to. Only her sister who knew exactly what she was capable of could see through innocent little girl act that she always put on.

"You know you need a spell to make it hard enough to push through a carcass Luther." She said as she put a hand on her hip. Her other hand was occupied by a black and red butterfly shaped bag which she always had with her. Bleak Street held no fear for the little Bones girl but not because of the same reason that it held no fear for Luther. Bad things tended to happen around Epiphany. Once when a boy had started to tease Epiphany about her lisp the boy was later with several of his teeth missing after taking a dive off the swing set. Another time a girl was terribly sick after making fun of the black and white stripped stalkings that she liked to ware. People seemed to know that Epiphany was bad luck. Not that she would let anyone find out where that bad luck came from.

"I bet it would go through your neck just fine" Luthor said coldly as he dropped the ice onto the ground and turned to face the young girl. "Your late!" He said showing the anger on his face as he walked up to her. He was obviously in a bad temper as he looked her up and down "Keep that up and you'll end up a disgusting Hufflepuff" Luthor said mockingly since he already knew without a doubt which house he would be in when he entered Hogwarts. It was his destiny to be in the great and noble house of Salazar Slytherin and he had no doubts that soon he would be with others that were similar if not far different from how he was. "I'm bored" Luthor said coldly as he looked down at the snow. He hated being bored and not able to kill anything, He wondered what Alexander was doing since his older half-brother had grown quite interesting as of late.

Luthor turned towards Epiphany and gave her a bitter stare "Well, what do you have to say?" Luthor said harshly, he was a boy of few words though lately when he was with Epiphany he spoke up more often. This was perhaps because he secretly saw the change that was starting to come over her even if she didn't know why. She was no longer the happy go lucky kid that he had tried to kill but was instead becoming more like him. "Whatever" he quickly said as he began walking away looking for something to torture, he enjoyed the cold air but he also hated it since the small weak animals would often be hiding somewhere just outside his grasp. Pulling a small knife from his pocket he began poking it into his index finger watching with great interest as a red drop of blood began to appear at the end of it. The stinging sensation intrigued him as he slowly began wiping the blood onto the tip of the knife.

Epiphany rolled her eyes. "One of these days you will have to pick up a book. By the time you get enough pressure to pierce the skin my body heat would be enough to melt it. An everlasting spell should take care of that well enough." She replayed in a very know it all kind of way. Afterwards she put a wide smile on her face. Epiphany messed with one of her braids and started to to hum a little tune while looking around. Well there is nothing interesting to happen here I mean you can only terrorize hags for so long before they become boring." She said to the last part. With a final twist she got an idea.

She opened up her bag then walked up to one of the dealers that where braving the harsh weather. She handed him a few gallions and a preciose smile before waking back with a few lumps of bad smelling cheese. Epiphany then walked over to a whole in the side of one of the buildings and placed the cheese there then looked down the ally. She spotted some boards that she could do something with and started to place them more like a maze than anything else. Epiphany took out a small sliver orb from her bag and placed it inside the cheese just as a small whisker started to poke out of a hole. "This should be entertaining enough." She said then lied down on her stomach. Epiphany was deaf to his comment about hufflepuff. Epiphany was a Ravenclaw like her sister. She would do whatever she could to see herself in blue if it meant jinxing the sorting hat to do it.

Luthor watched with some interest in what she was doing though part of him wanted to turn away from her and simply go away about his business. "Your so foolish wasting so much time and energy, it should be simple enough to find something to kill you know" Luthor said as he looked over towards one of the local hags. She looked hopefully at him before fear flashed into her eyes and she quickly scurried off. Luthor looked at the ground and kicked the snow once more. "This is stupid" Luthor said as he turned around on of the corners and saw someone walk by, he wished Sigourney was around. He was sure that the Silver Snake would be able to find something for him to carve up however she was doing something for his brother. Luthor turned back as he saw the mouse, he walked up and made a kick, missing the mouse and destroying Epiphany's trap. He turned towards the girl "Get up!" Luthor ordered as he looked back out towards the main street. "I'm done watching you do stupid things, let's go do something that's actually fun" Luthor demanded as he began walking along the main street.

He knew what he wanted to do but he wasn't sure how about he was going to do that just yet. Moving towards another of the Alleys he knew very well from previous experiences he turned towards Epiphany. "Now we're going to set another trap, this one however isn't going to be for a stupid mouse" Luthor said with a smirk on his face that was both cold and greedy as he began gathering some trash among other things. He turned towards Epiphany and smiled wickedly, "Your going to start crying and lead one of the hags over here so I can slit her throat, understand?" Luthor said knowing full well that Epiphany was better at tricking the hags into thinking she was a weak child than he was. He picked up some snow and threw it at her. "They know you hang around me so you can't look like yourself otherwise that stupid hags won't try to eat you" Luthor explained as he walked over towards one of the sides of the buildings with his knife out. He was going to enjoy killing something since it felt like ages since he'd done so.

Epiphany frowned then shrugged. "I had read somewhere that small shocks make mice actually not want cheese. I couldn't care less about the not wanting cheese part but did want to hear the sound the mice made when they run through to a couple of volts." Epiphany said simply. She would get back at him later. She got up and shot the snow off her cloak before looking at him. "I have a better idea." She said as she tied her braids together to make a sort of brown halo then took out a white haired doll. From looking at it one couldn't tell that the mouth held teeth which where actually sharp enough to go through skin. She started walk around looking for one of the hags that usually hung around here.

Epiphany, looking about two years younger than she really was, gave her a wide eyes look that said quite clearly she was lost and needed a guide out. The hag being interested only in being Epiphany's destruction, agreed to follow Epiphany into the darker part of the ally where Epiphany knew she had full intention on eating her. Epiphany chattered quite loudly so that Luther would hear her coming with that annoying squeak at the end of her speech just to irrat him more and smiled up at her when she swooped down. "The wicked witch doesn't get her gingerbread this time." Epiphany said and dissapered into one of the buildings to let Luther have his fun. Her's was actually getting the hag here. Then again she never tiered of being a sort of under aged siren.

Luthor could hear the Hag's footstep grow closer, the greed in her movements showed quite clearly that she was unsuspecting to the fact that she was walking towards her doom. Luthor's knife was already out as he pondered what he should do to eliminate the pathetic wench from existence when he heard Epiphany give the cue. Luthor walked out to see the Hag's stunned face when she saw the girl dissapear only to be replaced by the child her kind had grown to fear. The look on the boy's face was one of mad delight as he ran towards the hag who was desperately trying to flee from the scene. If the woman had not been so terrified and had instead tried to attack the boy she may have succeeded in killing him, a major victory for her kind however the fear that overtook her only ensured her doom as Luthor stabbed his knife into her leg watching as she howled and fell to the ground. Luthor was quick enough to stab her other foot and move away before she could make a grab at him, anger and desperation now appearing on her face as Luthor stayed out of her grasps, smiling in his victory. "No one's coming to save you" Luthor said with the mad look in his eyes as he picked up a heavy stone and threw it at the Hag's face.

She fell onto the ground unconscious from the blow as Luthor looked around for Epiphany, "Come on out, we have a new toy to play with" Luthor said with joy as he immediately began to pick up some of the ropes and tied the creature up. He could've just killed her however that would've ended his fun too quickly as he had big plans for this one. He turned towards Epiphany with a dark look on his face, "We're going to pour some fire whiskey over her, then when the rats come to feed on her body we can light the whole lot on fire and see which of them dies first" Luthor said as though there were no greater game in the world than his sick experiment. He noticed the hag start to stir as he picked up the rock and bashed her in the head once more "Not time for you yet" Luthor said coldly as he placed the now blood stained rock back onto the ground. He looked at Epiphany and gave her a cold glare "Watch her while I get the rest of the things, if she get's away then you'll be the one I burn" Luthor said darkly as he quickly made his way back towards the Silver Snake in order to get the Fire Whiskey, liquid honey, and matches so that he could initiate his plan.

Epiphany rolled her eyes. "Do it and watch what happens." She called as Luthor walked away. He wouldn't hurt her. Not mortally anyway if he did her sister would bring hell down on everyone and they knew it. They also needed her alive in order to have some illusion of control over Zazuka. It was a black cycle but neither could afford to have anything go wrong here. Still she watched the hag the got board waiting so she started to poke it with her fake wand. She looked at it with distaste before she had started but it was only a few years before she could have a real one. If it had been longer than that she would have asked her sister to replace it with something more suited to her style now. Like black and red butterflies. "Did you know that red butterflies are said to contain the spirits of the dead in them?" She asked the hag as she was poking her until the hag was sure she was going to bleed.

The fire really was a good idea and Epiphany wanted to see it. It gave her the image of blackened flesh and burning hair. "I wonder it's anything like burning Barbies?" She thought to herself. The hag was started to stir and Epiphany bright down her bag on it's head. Another of her sister's creations. It was really much bigger on the inside than it was on the outside and held about three full sized texts along with a few other things. "Hurry up before I start expiramenting with something I got out of the Apothecary today!" She yelled into the Silver Snake while looking at the immobile creature. She really did want to see it whither in pain.
