The warmth spreading through her body was one of the feelings she wished she could reach within her chest and gather it by hands only to yank it from its roots and bottle it for her own comfort. Milena La Fleur sure felt warm for this particular night, wearing something that wouldn't be appropriate for night like this. As much as she's cold hearted, the blonde's blood made her hotter than ever. Visiting USA for the first time, she made an account to research of the place. Read the important details of how to fit in and not be lost, which she failed to understand. As her plane landed on New York, Milena couldn't really pin point where she was. Although she knew that she's in New York, New York. The Death Eater in training didn't exactly knew the location of her hotel, how unfortunate. Luckily an employee from the hotel noticed her looking lost and assisted her, once she arrived her Hotel. Milena unpacked some of her things and got dressed for tonight, she didn't want to be lonely again and what better thing to do is try and enjoy the night life. She's eighteen after all, legally allowed to party and get wasted although she didn't had that in mind. So, instead she entered into a classy looking cafe, bar and restaurant. It wasn't something like ones who seems to be loud and filled with teenagers like her. Rather the place's elegant, a lady on the stage singing one romantic songs. How she missed to watch the opera once more and to see her mother perform and sing once more, she could have followed her footsteps but instead she decided to follow her father's. Except there was no intention of doing so, among her dreams was to be a Death Eater. Something lingers in her bones, something rebellious and evil. She isn't sure just yet but Milena's sure of her chosen path, as she made her may through the bar.
The former Slytherin sat on the high chairs near the counter of the bar and ordered one martini with extra olives and took a sip. It isn't her first time to drink, back in Paris she used to stole a bottle of her father's finest wine and just drink it all night. It was an act of rebellion and mostly just to get high, to fall asleep. But whenever she'd be sound asleep, nightmares started to appear in her dreams. Making her feel like hell, Milena could't escape her insomnia up to now. After her nightmare, she would be left awake until morning arrives and she'll be stuck in her bed, waiting for the sun to rise. Taking another sip of her drink, Milena just had enough. She felt bad being here, since it just reminded her of what she didn't take. Although there's nothing to regret about, she couldn't let go just yet. She left. Thinking it would be best to perhaps stroll around the city, how she wish to see the sky line later on. Something to distract her, coffee. Just around the corner a small yet subtle coffee shop caught Milena's green eyes. It's been a while since she'd been inside a coffee shop, ages ago. She used to love coffee, since the effect is always different on her. Rather than making her feel awake, it made her sleepy. Entering the said coffee shop and taking a seat at the nearest table from the door. When the waiter handed the coffee, she started to read it over and finally ordered a Caffe macchiato. Something to wash out the smell of alcohol inside her mouth, she handed the menu back and leaned on her chair. Watching and observing the people around them, only a few groups of old and young New Yorkers. It felt nice having a vacation like this, of course it wouldn't last long. She just really needed a break from everything and once her mind starts to refresh on it's own then it will be alright.
Milena sat there waiting for her coffee, waiting for the whole world to suck her in. For the past months, years she's been alone, spending her time with herself and no one more. It made her feel devastated at some point but she was used to it, she didn't need someone to fill her up. Milena enjoyed being alone on her own. Then again she's here in New York, New York! A place she'd read only in magazine, where she once dreamed of performing on broad way. Could it still be? For one of her dreams to come true, she'll definitely see for herself tomorrow morning. As he order arrived, Milena tried her best to smile back at the waiter. Surprisingly it didn't failed, this time. She always made it to a point to smile for some people, her smile has limited stocks as they say. It's only back in Paris where she can truly be herself, though New York seems to be a wonderful place to change too. Such a beautiful night, filled with stars above. How she wish to share this special night with someone, anyone that could finally make her smile.
