Appearance: Quite tall, skinny and wears contact lenses
History: Blane was in Perth, Scotland. He was an accident. His parents didnt want a child but they got one. Blanes parents were not the parent types. They were always working and never had much time for Blane. The reason they didnt want a child is because they always thought that it was too much work as Blanes cousin when she was born.
Blanes father, Sidney Bailey had a twin sister, Michelle Bailey. They were very close as twins normally are. Michelle married when she was only 18 to Kevin Moseley and a year into their marriage they had a child, Cassandra. She was a bit of a handful but overall was a really nice person. When Cassandra was one , Blanes father got married to Grace Byrnes. They decided, together that a child was just not for them. A few months after they got married, Grace found out she was pregnant. Both of Blanes parents decided to give having a child a go.
Blane was born on the 21st of July, the exact same day as his cousin. His parents gave up on Blane after two months of him being born. He was more or less brought up by Cassandras family. Over this time Blane and Cassandra became very good cousin and saw each other as brother and sister. When he was five Blane was sent to primary school. This wasnt a usual primary school. It was a Victorian style boarding school, with the same school ways that they had in Victorian Britain. The school was very like Hogwarts only without magic and a lot stricter. Blane was annoyed about not going to the same school as Cassandra as she went to a normal muggle school. During the summer though he would go to her house for most of the holiday. When Blane was coming up to his 7th birthday, his cousin Cassandra, he mum, Michelle and her grandparents on her dads side were in a car crash, Cassandra and her grandparents died in the crash, her mother on the other hand was taken to Hospital, while in Hospital when she was on the mend jumped of the top of the hospital building. Her husband hasnt spoken since Cassandra died and after the funeral was moved to an insane hospital in Glasgow and is still there now.
Blane was deeply affected by the death of his cousin as they were very close. The funeral was at the very start of the summer holidays and his parents began to act weird and ignoring Blane even more than before. A week after the funeral Blane was sent out of the house by his parents and was told to come back later as his parents had said that they had clients coming to their house and he was not suppose to be there. When he came back after being at the local park all day he found that his parents werent their. He walked into the house and found a note saying that his parents couldnt look after him any more, it also said that they would send him some money every month so he could buy food and other things like that. The money they sent was not enough for one month. He never went back to his school and was pleased about that.
Blane was already quite thin and now that there was little money he ate even less. At first he would wake up in the morning late in the month and looking for his breakfast and never finding anything. Sometimes he would wake up on the floor of a room and not know how he got there. Over time however Blane grew used to the lack of food though still did sometimes wake up on the floor and not know how he got there. When he got his letter to Hogwarts New Zealand early one morning after waking up on the floor, he ran up to his room packed a case and looked for money, which was easy as he had received some money as well that morning, went to the airport and boarded the first flight he could to New Zealand.
