If your character has been invited to the graduation party, you must ensure that they are eighteen years of age before you post with them. Thank you, Brittany & Alexis
Graduation had come and gone all too quickly for Riley Alexandra, and now here she was, eighteen years old and living in her own apartment, still doing the odd story for the Daily Prophet but more importantly she had gained a place on a professional Quidditch team. It had been all she had dreamed of since she had starting wizarding school at Beauxbatons and she had continued to long for it when she had transferred to Hogwarts New Zealand, and now she had it, she could barely believe it was true. She was the seeker for the Holyhead Harpies and was in her own apartment in New York, New York, it was like a dream come true. Through all of this excitement the eighteen year old had even managed to keep her promise to herself, that she would not lose contact with all of the friends she had made at Hogwarts, so she and her two roommates, her twin sister Kalani and best friend Jennifer, had organised a graduation party, afterall, that was what having your own apartment was for, right? Since being free of the leash that tied them to their parents, the three blondes really hadn't done anything much that they wouldn't have done in their own homes. Sure they had stayed up a little later than their bedtimes and had pillow fights and even eaten takeout for a straight week, but this party was going to be the first night of complete freedom, and the three blondes sure were pleased to be spending it in the presence of all of their friends.

With Riley and Jenn working playing for the Holyhead Harpies and Lani working as a prima ballerina in Russia, the roommates had found they had quite a bit of money bewteen them. So naturally, their first pay packets had gone to a worthy cause, buying up the alcohol and snacks for the party that the twins had been organising since the last holidays by owl. They had owled the invitations, brought all of the food and drink into the kitchen and cleared space for dancing, it seemed that the night was all ready to kick off, Hogwarts Graduate Style. Riley had made sure they had invited all of the students they knew who had just graduated, from all different wizarding schools and even her new boyfriend Will, who had graduated the year before them was on the invite list. Riley had spent most of the afternoon putting her hair up and placing the last minute touches on her outfit which had been paid for by her new job. As she looked in the mirror to run the pink lipstick across her lips she smiled, she had made it. She, Riley Alexandra, was a grown-up, and she thought she was quite a good grown-up at that. Little did she know that as she was blowing up balloons with her two best friends, that they were all going to act like anything but grown-up that night. So the three girls sat on their couch blowing up the balloons and throwing steamers, and they waited patiently for their first guests to arrive. Riley sincerely hoped she had sent the invites correctly, it was getting on eight o'clock now and the graduates should have been arriving any minute. "I'm so excited!" she exclaimed, grabbing the hands of Jenn and Lani as they jumped up and down in a circle, the widest smiles possible upon their faces.

Kalani was excited to meet the friends of her twin and Jenn's and to have a great time at the party. They had all deserved this last hurrah because they had all worked so hard... Or she had at least. So she couldn't help but be extremely excited at the prospect of letting loose and having fun, even if it meant going against what her dietitian advised her when she had been signed with the ballet company. It wasn't as if she was going to be working until the next week anyway, she could enjoy herself and then make a recovery and continue on as if nothing substantial had happened to her body. So when Kalani was in her dress and her straight hair was down the way she wanted it to, she stepped out of her bedroom and grinned as she saw their condo prepared for the party before she turned her head to see her twin grinning ear-to-ear, practically bouncing as she walked over to her and Jenn who had been talking idly about the unpacking they had done or in Kalani's case, the lack of unpacking. Her room was basically a bed and boxes with her pointe shoes on top of that bed like a child would carefully place their favourite stuffed animal to cuddle with at night, not that Kalani did that; no matter how attached to them she was.

The alumni of Hogwarts and Beauxbatons were sure to have a great time tonight so Kalani couldn't hide her excitement as she jumped up and down on her feet with the two other blonde's. Their squeeling was interrupted with the first door bell and Kalani stopped and straightened her dress. She wondered who the first guest would be but didn't want to be the one to open the door so after she had fixed her hair again, she called out, "It's open!"

<COLOR color="#000"><FONT font="Verdana"><SIZE size="50">There, came the inward sigh of contentment as Indianna clipped the case back over her coral lipstick and placed it meticulously on the dresser, beside the other cosmetics that had already been applied to her exotic features. She had been told by both her boyfriend and her mamá on several occasions that she looked beautiful even without the makeup’s enhanced aid. Whilst she was still sceptical as to whether to believe them or not, beauty products were never something Indianna indulged in heavily anyway. She preferred not having to go through the tedious motions every single morning. But tonight was different, tonight wasn’t just any occasion, it was an occasion. A graduation party to be more specific. And who could blame a girl who was already feeling on top of the world, to want to reach just that inch further? A lot had changed since graduation, she had changed and oddly enough since it really hadn’t been all that long ago. Slaving away hours of scooping up animal muck over the summer had somehow proved to be worth it because now she was only so far away from becoming veterinarian. On top of that, the offer that Sam had received for a position on the Wimbourne Wasps had resulted in one gigantic leap in their relationship. Moving to England. Together. For a brief moment she had considered placing their relationship on hiatus, in fact for a moment there it had seemed like it would be the path they were headed down. But the plan was too grave to follow through on. Despite their youth, the couple were in much too deep and there seemed no exit route in sight. And that, Indianna had concluded, was something she was over the moon to embrace.

Physically there was a difference as well, even if it were just tonight. The reflection in the mirror was one Indianna was almost ready to deem unrecognisable, one she was frightened of and yet all uncontrollably excited for in the very same instant. The smoky eyes, the primped lashes, the cherry lips. Then there was her dress – a sexy little black number with intricate detailing on the back, its hem only managing to fall as far as her mid-thigh, showcasing her elegantly toned legs. And of course, a spiky pair of glossy black heels to match. It wasn’t a style she was used to, but one that all of a sudden seemed fitting for this point in her life. That, and she couldn’t wait to see Sam’s face when he laid those bright blue eyes on her. Giggling a little out loud at the thought, Indianna smoothed her hands down the length of the fitted material before allowing her mind to soften, back to the track it had been on before. Because here she stood, not as a girl, not shy, meek little Indi, but as a woman. A strong, independent young woman.

Despite this new resolve that had risen within her, Indi still found herself housing a herd of butterflies in her stomach as she thought about the night that lay ahead. She was excited to see everyone that she hadn’t had the chance to catch up with since graduation but was still a little too wary than she probably should be around Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Riley, just one of the three hosts of the party. Although it had been two years since she’d caught Indi and Sam’s ‘almost kiss’, that and Riley had since gotten herself a boyfriend, the Hispanic girl couldn’t help but feel paranoid that there might be some bad blood between them, that Riley might secretly despise her guts or something. It was silly, but it was not something Indianna could easily shake. In addition to that paranoia, Indi was also cautious of letting herself go completely drink-wise. She didn’t drink often and she rarely drank much, having an alcoholic for a father and witnessing all of its repercussions had drilled that into her. But Indi could feel that tonight might just be different, considering the atmosphere. She had played it safe though and not wanting anything strong, had just purchased a pack of raspberry vodka cruisers, and now slipped them into her enchanted purse along with her cosmetics. She was sure her petite frame could only hold so much liquor anyway.

Calling out her goodbyes to her mother, Indianna fished for one last glance at her reflection and took a preparatory breath before apparating out of her home and into a dark alley by the side of the apartment she had been addressed to. Another breath was taken, this one shaky as she fought to keep the contents of her stomach down. Apparition was not a method of transportation favoured by the girl, if there had been time to spare and she’d had the finances, she would have preferred to buy a plane ticket. But instead she was forced to grin and bear the nausea, relieved that it seemed to be wearing off with every step she took up to the girls’ apartment. The butterflies erupted again as she reached the door, hoping that being five minutes late meant that everyone would have already arrived. But no one had thought to tell Indianna that in the case of parties five o’clock usually meant six o’clock, and six o’clock meant seven, and seven meant eight, and so it continued. She pressed the buzzer and she heard a voice from within call out that the door was open. So as she let herself in, Indianna was a little surprised to see that the only people there were the people hosting the party. Her anxieties heightened as she spotted Riley but then seemed to calm significantly when she realised that Jenn was there too, along with the girl she assumed to be Kalani, Riley’s twin. Nonetheless, she hoped that Sam would arrive soon. “Hey guys!” She chirped and adjusted the shoulder strap of her purse as she walked forward into the apartment, closing the door behind her. “Excited?!” Finding Jenn and leaning into her for a hug first, Indianna hesitated only slightly as she turned to Riley and decided to greet her in the same way, despite the anxious jump in her gut. Finally she turned to the girl she assumed was Riley’s twin and smiled at her, “You must be Kalani then?”

A prominent click sounded from Amaryllis' bedroom as the lid of her lipstick fell back firmly into place. The harsh red of it against her pale skin was enough to turn any heads, that and the fact that she was wearing yet another little black dress, little being the main word to describe it. With her hair in a messy side plait she looked at least a few years older than she was. And the seventeen year old felt it too. She was about to move into her seventh and last year at Hogwarts and as weird as it felt not to be in Scotland anymore, she felt as though she was beginning to belong in New Zealand and with her new family, the Blacks. The Slytherin girl had not been overly excited about moving in with a new family and leaving part of her already broken one behind, but now she was beginning to become accustomed to it, and she had grown closer to her younger sister Azolla than she had ever thought possible. But Azolla wasn't the only girl she had become close with, her new girlfriend was the very reason she was dressed to the nines and ready for the night of her life. Jennifer Wilkonson was the most beautiful girl that Amy had ever seen in her life and somehow through their friendship and the Yule Ball they had managed to become more than friends, and the young woman hadn't been the same since. Though this night was already set to be an amazing one with her girlfriend, Amaryllis couldn't help but wonder whether this would be the last time she would see Jenn for quite a while. Those same feelings that had come up when attending her girlfriend's graduation seemed to be settling in her stomach once more, the uncertainty was something Amy had never been able to stand, not since her parents had died and then her Grandmother had become too ill to care for herself and her siblings.

Breaking up was not something that Amaryllis Bella had ever considered, she and Jenn were somehow going to make their relationship work, even if she was still attending Hogwarts and her girlfriend was all the way over in New York, they trusted each other, Amy was almost certain she was in love with Jennifer and distance hopefully wouldn't change any of that. Thinking about the future was a scary thing, but Amaryllis was excited for hers, she didn't yet know what she was going to be doing with her life, something that involved Herbology, who knew. All she knew was she saw some kind of future with Jennifer, and hey, moving to New York with her wouldn't be the worst thing, afterall, it was New York! Luckily Amy had passed her apparition exam and so she would be able to apparate herself to the party at Jenn, Riley and Lani's new apartment, she could think of nothing worse than showing up with her adoptive parents as escorts. With a last pout in the mirror the seventeen year old grabbed her purse and quickly snuck into her sister's bedroom. She placed a small kiss on her forehead before removing the lipstick stain she left out with the pad of her thumb. Looking at her watch she was already half an hour late to the starting time of the party, but these things never started on time, at least only the hosts ever seemed to be there right on the dot. Amaryllis clutched her bag and saw her knees chatter a little in the cold of her front porch, closing her eyes she counted to three and apparated, making sure her wand was tightly in her hand, she was ever so scared of splinching herself since she had only apparated once or twice outside of the exam. The feeling in her stomach churned, but luckily she arrived healthy and all in one piece, and only a few metres from the front door of the apartment.

She fluttered her eyelids and let her slender forefinger press onto the bell on the door hearing an echo of the ring through the new apartment as she waited for the door to be answered. She looked gingerly through the glass panel next to the door and noticed the blonde heads of the three hosts but also a darker head, who she didn't immediately recognise. Perched on her heels Amaryllis was only just balancing to look through the glass when somebody came to the door and as it was opened her hand slipped in with it sending her crashing to the ground. Quickly popping up from the doorstep she let out a sigh of relief, it was only Riley who had come to the door, or was it Kalani, nevertheless it seemed that only one person had witnessed her failed attempt at ringing a door bell.

Quickly she tottered on inside, this time being very careful as to how she balanced on the wedges of her heels. "Hiii!" she said, her hand moving in the shape of a rainbow as she did so and a toothy smile spreading across her face. She noticed then that the fourth girl in the apartment was Indianna, and hopefully, she thought to herself, she was getting girl speak right when she recalled that she was the Beaxbatons girl who had won over Riley's boyfriend a few Summers ago. Not wanting to say anything that could tread on the delecate tether between the two girls, Amaryllis made a break for her girlfriend who she embraced warmly, letting her red lips meet with Jennifer's in a passionate kiss before whispering "I love you, into her ear. It was sad to think that she and Jenn would no longer be stealing kisses in the corridors of Hogwarts in between classes or hanging around one another's dorm rooms waiting for a spare moment to spend together. It was thinking of this and placing down the bottle of wine she had 'borrowed' from her household that made the just turned eighteen year old realise how grown up they were all becoming, and how in only one short year she would be graduating from Hogwarts and having to make a life for herself like her friends Jennifer, Riley and Kalani had done. "So, are we ready to get this party started?" she said excitedly, nodding towards the muggle stereo in the far corner of the lounge and waiting for Jenn or one of her roommates to turn it on so they could dance.

<COLOR color="#000">Will slipped his muscular arms into his wooly red cardigan as he stood in front of the clouded mirror in his bathroom. He rubbed away the build-up of condensation that clung to the glass with the side of his hand, allowing him to see what exactly he looked like. His lemon juice dyed hair was still a little wet but he knew that a long-distance apparition would sort out no problem. Other than that, the boy looked well whether he wanted to admit it or not. He did want to look his best though, he was going to be meeting the majority of Riley's friends tonight and he needed to make a good impression, one that would hopefully replace the title of 'just that Quidditch player', a title he was given so often on first impressions. He couldn't really blame people to be honest, he was a confident guy and there really was a thin line between confidence and arrogance in today's society. But Will Connors happened to be one of the most humble guys around, it just took time to discover which side of the line he was on. He still would have been naturally shy self however, had it not been for his recognition in Quidditch when his modest ways were more or less beaten out of him. He was glad it was taken from him so abruptly though as without this confidence Will never would have managed to score himself the lovely Riley Alexandra. The girl was way out of his league from where he was standing and he knew that if things had been different, there wouldn't be a chance in hell that he would be brave enough to speak to her, let alone date her.

Will glanced down at the Rolex strapped to his wrist, he still had time. In bare feet, he hurriedly padded into his bedroom and began what became a great search for a clean pair of socks. His bedroom was probably the messiest room in his apartment reason being that it was the most lived in room. With dirty plates stacked high on his dresser, computer game discs jumbled in amongst a pile of dirty clothes, the entire room was a disgrace and looking for a pair of clean socks was like looking for a needle in a haystack. He glanced once more at his watch just for save measure but time continued to move on and Will was still standing in his bedroom, in Paris, in cold bare feet. "Screw this," He mumbled grumpily to himself and began to search for his wand instead. This search wasn't as difficult and he found the oak wand muddled in within his bed clothes. With a few waves of his wand the tired room was soon awakened as dirty clothes flew into an empty wash basket, grubby plates zoomed out of the room, and a pair of white clean socks fell right into his hand. Will sat back onto his ready made bed and slipped into these socks before quickly grabbing his shoes which were conveniently stacked next to his bedside table. He was getting quite excited about tonight, it had been a while since he had let loose so carelessly and the fact that he would be spending the majority of the night with his beautiful girlfriend was really just the cherry on top of the a very delicious cake. These thoughts reminded him of Hermione, he hadn't even left the house yet and he was already being so careless. Will couldn't be too sure whether or not he would end up staying over in Riley's apartment tonight and so he filled up his beagles food and water bowl, just in case. The exact location of his dog at this time was unknown and Will just banked on the hope that she was lazily sprawled across the sofa in the living room, he didn't have time to go looking for his mischievous dog right now. Will took the bag of containing his drinks for the night off the kitchen table, his excitement beginning to bubble further now that drinks were involved and so, without hesistation, the young man apparated out of his Parisian apartment, alerting his sleeping dog on the sofa.

Apparition used to be a big deal for Will, a challenge, but with his new career dragging him all over the world it was just something he had to get used to. Which he did. He rarely even felt that queasy feeling anymore he had done it so much and now, with just a slight tingle in the pit of his stomach, Will was standing on a street in New York city. The apartment was just up the street from where he was standing and so he began a steady pace, not wanting to draw too much attention to himself after just apparating onto a main street. He made a mental note not to be so careless next time. The door to the girls apartment was left open from the last attendee and so Will casually gandered on into the room and almost instantaneously realised he was the only dude there. But that didn't really bother him much as his gaze almost instantaneously made its way to Riley. Who looked fiercely hot. "So, are we ready to get this party started?", Will heard as he walked further into the apartment, "I sure am," He called out, his charmingly goofy grin spreading across his features as he placed his booze onto a table. Tone it down. He was planning on making that good first impression tonight, a thin line between confidence and arrogance he continued to remind himself. With a more modest smile now gracing his features, Will made his way over to Riley and with his arms around her, he felt a little more comfortable. "Hey babe," He cooed softly before placing a couple sweet kisses on her lips, suddenly all to aware that there was a group of very sobre people around him and this carry on would just have to wait until later in the night.

Jennifer adored everything about her life lately - the new apartment, the new found freedom, the new career, the girlfriend and as she found her way into her dress she found that there was nothing that could ever bring her down from this high. Nearly all of these things were permanent and the few that weren't, the blonde woman had faith that it would work out for the best. Namely her relationship with Amaryllis. Things were so different between the Slytherin and the former Hufflepuff than any relationship had ever been for Jennifer Wilkonson. There was a certain tenderness that was there that even the young Quidditch player who looked like she could take our an army with her glare could enjoy. Unlike her relationship with Matthew, it would last during their time apart even if it was hard and even if they wouldn't be able to catch each other's gaze from across the room or hold hands, they had letters and until Jennifer's girlfriend could join her in the sweet freedom that was graduation, it would have to do.

However, this night was not about the looming loneliness that the couple inevitably felt. It was a celebration, so when Jennifer looked in the mirror and flattened the dress over her torso she grinned to convince herself that all would be fine if she just put a positive side to everything. So she did the finishing touches on her make up and walked out of her bedroom that was very simple in decoration unlike her former bedroom which only had one simple item there: her bed. She had altered her room so it was an adults room, although there were a few touches of Jennifer like sheets that said 'bed' repetitively and a black decal of the sky line in New York City. There were of course a few framed photographs, her current favourite being one of Amaryllis Loncar and Jennifer Wilkonson. They were walking towards each other quickly before they met at the center of the frame for a hug where they held each other, Jennifer in her graduation gown and Amaryllis looking stunning as always in a dress. It was a picture that the Hufflepuff would always love, no matter how the young couples relationship went. They had one that was completely unique compared to any of the other's that she had ever had and it was all due to the girl she respected so dearly.

Sufficed to say that Jennifer was anxious to see Amaryllis and have her, after the party was over, spend the night. It would just be sleeping, she was sure, but what could be more intimate than holding a person you loved when you were in your most vulnerable stage in daily life? When her stomach was in flips because of this, the party seemed kind of unimportant to her but as she stepped out and saw the two other blondes, her two roommates and certainly some of the closest friends she had, they all jumped like little girls waiting for Santa Claus to give them a pony. But this girlish squealing and jumping that had just happened was interrupted by a knock at the door and in anxiety that it might be her girlfriend, Jennifer fixed her hair to make it as neat as she could without a mirror. However, this was unnecessary as the blondes were met with a brunette. While Jennifer's ivory skin did not light up as much as would had the first guest been Amaryllis, it had anyway. It was good to know that people were actually going to come because if Indianna came she would bring Sam and Amaryllis and Will were certainly coming so the group could have a small party to themselves, even if she wished it to be somewhat of a 'hit'. A tight hug was given and returned between Jennifer and Indianna before she said to her friend while her embraces continued, "You look gorgeous Indi!" Some might think that because of the confusing past that Sam and Jennifer had that any future partners would be strictly enemies but as she watched Riley and Indi hug she knew it could never be the case... for Indianna that is. Her friend had something in her that made her so likable and, in Riley's case, forgivable so she was very pleased in Sam for his choice. Moreover, Jennifer was pleased in her own choices as she heard the doorbell ring and a very long moment later, she saw the beautiful smile of her own girlfriend. As the group was greeted, the young woman teetered on her heels giddily for the tight embrace and the soft lips which she had missed so much since graduation.

Not long after this silent wish expressed with a glint in Jennifer Lydia's blue eyes had her wish been granted. Amaryllis practically bounded for Jennifer in a manner that almost made her giggle but was too wrapped up in wrapping her arms around the girl's waste and kissing her feverishly. The feeling in her fingers and toes disappeared momentarily and her mind fell into the most peaceful of all states as their lips slowly parted and they fought to catch their breath, or Jennifer had as she felt wounded from overwhelming affection from her girlfriend. "I love you too," she whispered in return, although the words felt too small for what Jennifer felt as she looked into her girlfriend's soft eyes. The moment was soon in the past, however, as Amaryllis addressed the entire group and as a fourth blonde entered the apartment. Jennifer did not remember ever meeting him so before he even approached Riley, she knew who he was and started to put on some music for the group. As Jennifer reached carefully for her girlfriend's hand and squeezed it tightly, she remembered the messy night of their first kiss and how she would not change it for the world to replace any mocking she had gone through. "I don't know if you remember or not, but I'm still as great of a dancer as I was at the ball," she sniggered, making fun of herself and the way she had stepped on her girlfriend's feet before their lips had met for the first time and, thank goodness, not the last.

It hadn't taken the girls long to become settled in their new home in New York, and with their jobs being scattered around the globe they had all become used to apparition, Riley barely noticed any feeling in her stomach these days. But right now that queezy feeling she used to get when travelling had come back to her, making her just a little more nervous. She wasn't sure just why the feeling was botherin her so, but decided it probably had something to do with the fact that she wanted this party to be a hit, and was hoping with every bone in her body that all of the people she and her roommates had invited would show up at some point or another. It felt odd to be speaking with Indianna, most girls wouldn't dare invite a girl who was dating their ex-boyfriend to a party, but Riley wasn't like most girls and she was determined to have this night go smoothly, which meant, for everyone's sake, she and the brunette would need to get on. "Glad you could make it Indianna!" and she meant it, quite sincerely, they weren't in high school anymore so there was no reason at all that they should act like it. Soon after Indianna had arrived, another brunette was added to the mix, this one Riley recognised quite well as Amaryllis, she and Jennifer's best friend from Hogwarts New Zealand. As Riley was about to embrace Amy, she saw Jenn beat her to it, and she just stood and smiled. Sure, it had been more than a little awkward when she had walked in on her two best friends kissing at the Yule Ball, but the eighteen year old loved Amaryllis and the couple seemed so happy together, so of course Riley's blessing had been given.

Noticing the growing pile of drinks on the bench, Riley gained a glint in her eye and responded to Amaryllis' question immediately by moving quickly over to the stereo and pressing play on the party playlist the three girls had made and proceeded to daintly place her fingertips on the volume knob and not so daintily turn the volume up near 100%. The playlist was a little vintage, which was Riley's style, and so she hoped everyone would enjoy it, though she knew all too well once the drinks had been opened and the infamous red and blue paper cups had been passed around that everyone would be far too drunk to even notice which tuned were assaulting their ears with their loud volumes and heavy bass. The first song played and Riley smirked at Jennifer's comment about her dancing, knowing that no matter how bad the dancing was they were going to have a blast. Just as the blonde haired young woman began to twist her body to the beat she noticed the presence of another teenager in the hormone filled apartment living room. "Will!" she called over the music, holding her arms out to embrace her boyfriend. She let his arms fall into the slim part of her waist and matched his goofy smile with the more sophisticated one of her own, now the night could really begin, she thought to herself noticing a hint of connotation in her boyfriend's voice, making him settle for only a few pecks on her lips before dragging him into the kitchen area and handed hima bottle to pour into some cups, there were far too many sobre bodies in the apartment for her liking. Listening to the pounding music, Riley walked to the beat and handed out the filled cups, "Yeap, now this party is started!" she announced proudly as she lifted her red cup to her lips and took a large sip, a sip of freedom in a way, standign in her apartment, at a party, drinking alcohol with her boyfriend's arm around her waist, Riley Alexandra finally felt like a grown up. It was like somewhere along the way she had transformed into a woman and she felt great about it. Usually her mother would lecture her about hanging on to every last bit of her childhood, but right now the eighteen year old couldn't care less about that, this was adulthood and she was loving it.

"Hey babe to you too." she finally replied to Will as she twisted her frame beneath his hands so they were face to face. She let the word 'babe' fall off her tongue, liking the way it felt to say it to somebody, part of her still couldn't believe the gorgeous blonde boy standing in front of her was her boyfriend, and just the thought of all of the girls that crowded around him during Quidditch matches and all of his photos in the tabloids made her the proudest and luckiest young woman in the world in her opinion. Riley reached her lips up to those of Will's and pecked them, kissing him a little deeper the second time, knowing that she was teasing him but simply not caring. She pulled back and took another sip of her drink, almost spitting it out when she saw the sight of Lani, Indi, Jenn and Amy out in the lounge dancing their butts off. Hearing the doorbell ring above all of the noise, Riley ignored it, one of the others would surely get it, because right now all Riley wanted to do was find somewhere a little more private where she could actually talk to Will without having to strain her voice in order for him to hear her. "Follow me!" the eighteen year old called over the music and laughs over her friend.

Riley took her boyfriend's hand in her own petite one and led him out into the hall, winking at her twin sister as she did so and leading Will up to the third door along. She bit her lip nervously, the very same way she had done the first time she had met him, when she had interviewed him during her internship at the Daily Prophet. This memory brought a smile to her nervous features as she remembered taking Will's photo and the way it had turned out due to her minimal photography skills. Even though in the photo she had taken his hair was blonder than blonde and his lips rather disproportionate, Riley had doted over it, and even through the move to New York there was still a space for it on her dresser. Every morning the eighteen year old woke up to that very picture, the same way that Jennifer woke up to one of herself and Amaryllis, but the feeling in her stomach still churned away because a part of Riley knew that the next morning she would wake up in the same four walls she had for months, on the same old quilt she had had since she was seven, and she would look at that same photo of her boyfriend. But there would be one small difference, her boyfriend would be right there beside her. That, and she would probably be rather hungover.

Edgar hated parties. It was not because he wasn't social, because truthfully he was quite the social butterfly, but when it came to parties he couldn't understand why alcohol always had to be involved. He knew like most other adults that alcohol and hormones were the worst mix and that was the reason he had no problem coming late to the party. The eighteen year old had been practicing hard at the barre, the Russian ballet company who had signed him hadn't began practices for their next production just yet, or even auditions for that matter, but Edgar had always been a studious young man and he wanted to get in every minute of practice that he could because even though he was one of the youngest who had been signed to the company he believed that with gruelling practice that he had a shot at a lead role in the production and he wouldn't stop until he got it. So every day since he had graduated Hogwarts Scotland he had gone down to the basement in his parents' house and danced like he was going to die any day, and it had paid off. His technique had improved immensely and he had even had one of his sisters over to practice lifts with, knowing that if he did get a main part this would be a very important skill to have. That day had been no exception, Edgar had left the cafe where he had dined with all three of his siblings and apparated straight home, quickly changing into his ballet gear and beginning on the barre, then working on his stretches and piques. He had worked into the night and when he looked down at his watch and realised that the party had started at least an hour ago, he changed into a good pair of jeans, folded over twice at the bottom, a white deep v-neck teeshirt and smart lace ups. He grabbed his, satchel and on the way out he kissed his poster of Anna Pavlova, a ritual he had developed as a young boy and one that had stayed with him since.

Edgar Kane apparated swiftly, relishing the uneasy feeling he had in his stomach which reminded him of being in the green room moments before a big company recital. Ever since the young man had started ballet at four years old he had thrown recitals in the basement for his family, who had often laughed at him, mostly his brother Oliver, but the thing Edgar always was wary of was the look on his father's face, one of deep disaproval. But growing up as a Kane had given Edgar a thick skin, so when he had been bullied at Hogwarts and presumed 'gay' he had hardly noticed, and so that day when Josephine had joked about his 'man bag' he had hardly flinched, knowing she meant it as a joke, but the eighteen year old was still weary of entering the apartment to which he stood outside of, wondering how he would be recieved by the drunk teens. But there was no time to hesitate, so Edgar slipped his wand into his satchel and with his free hand his knuckled knocked against the door, though he was doubtful that anyone would answer, the music was beyond loud and he hadn't knocked very hard. But to his suprise, the door swung open and a beautiful blonde young woman was on the other end of it, holding a red paper cup, a goofy smile on her face and her outfit slightly off of her shoulder. With one sniff, Edgar knew that she was plastered, and he looked uneasily down at the bottle of soda water that he had to bring to the hosts and Jennifer, the girl who had invited him to the party.

"Hello, my name is Edgar" he said very formally, offering his hand for the woman to shake, the smell reminded him of his brother, who after a bad split with his fiancee had taken to drinking and always reaked of the stuff. The young man's nose twitched and he tried not to offend the blonde standing in front of him. She was rather tipsy and a little unresponsive so he entered the apartment himseld and tried to have his ears adjust to the loud music as he watched groups of girls grinding against oneanother in the living room, each of them clutching either a blue or red disposable cup, Edgar immediately found himself uncomfortable, that was not the kind of dancing he wanted to be doing, although he had to admit to himself that the girl who had opened the door was gorgeous, and he wouldn't mind dancing ballet with her, but not grinding. Smiling politely he slipped past the sweaty bodies and stood in the corner, observing each of the teens. None of the others seemed to be quite as drunk as the blonde, she was obviously a lightweight, which made him worry for her immediately. Even though he didn't know her, he vowed to keep an eye on her for the night, he was a gentleman and he certainly didn't want her being taken advantage of because of how intoxicated she had become. "Bit loud isn't it?" he yelled to her, even though she was standing right next to him, it really was loud and he couldn't wait for this all to be over.

With all the couples at this party, Kalani was starting to feel a little sad so as she watched Will and Riley walk into her room, she grumbled quietly to herself and poured some of whatever was available into a red plastic cup. She was completely aware that her head would be pounding and her stomach would be in her throat in the morning but it was a party and as long as everyone else was here coupled up with somebody and letting her feel all alone, she thought she had the right to have a few drinks. How many of those drinks she would be able to tolerate before passing out was another question, one she didn't care to think about until the next morning when she would hopefully be trying to connect all the dots. The only good thing about this was that her boss would not find out, no one at the company would ever find out because it was a party with a bunch of wizards and witches. It wasn't something that most people knew about because there was a great likeliness that spells could be thrown about in the spacious apartment, even if the girls had advised that everyone leave their wands, brooms and possible car keys at home. The last thing anyone wanted was a fatal accident, after all. But the possibility of this was not something Kalani Mauven wanted to think about as she swayed her hips to the beat and closed her eyes as she felt the music as she always did. Any form of dancing was something that the blonde loved, not something she was great at, but loved nonetheless. She always felt most at peace and in tuned with herself when she let her inhibitions down and just felt the music, as cliche as she thought it was. Soon the girl who had been dancing on her own was now in-between a few of her friends grinding indecently to a song she didn't recognize as her taste was normally classical. Most of that same drink had been finished and when she stumbled out of the group to catch the door she was already feeling a very strong buzz. The feet that she had been given were not their same graceful, powerful ones but the ones of a normal human not of the perfectionist that she was. The lacked their lines and as she reached for the door and stumbled back, it was clear that they lacked her skill as well. It would have amazed her, had she been in her right mind, how some ballerinas and ballerinos could practice with any sort of alcohol in their body.

"Hey cutie," Kalani slurred as she leaned against the door frame and looked at the attractive blond male in front of her. She sloppily gave him her hand with nails cut close and clear of nail polish or general attention. "I'm Kalani," she said with a smirk before moving in and whispering to him with breath that was laced with the scent of vodka, "But you can call me whatever you want." This was cause enough for her to stand back and giggle into her hands before she let him walk in further and closed the door behind the blond named Edgar. As he asked her if the volume was loud she looked at him, perplexed before smacking his butt and saying, "Lighten up, it's a party!" As she said that last word, almost everyone yelled 'wooh' and she got another drink for herself, not even remembering that as a hostess she probably should pay more attention to one of the guests. Most of them had taken to doing whatever they pleased as long as it wasn't fornicating in any of the bedrooms... other than Kalani's twin and her boyfriend. And this was something that she was pleased with, the last thing she wanted to do was to imagine people having sex on her bed, even if she had cleaned the sheets. One just couldn't get rid of their mattress after that, could they?

Once Kalani had returned to Edgar with two drinks in hand, one for herself and one for him, she sloppily smiled and offered him the red plastic cup and took a long drink of her own while she slowly danced to the music without thinking about it. It wasn't often that a classically trained ballerina danced the way the young blonde was tonight so even though the alcohol had done most of it's job, her hips were still rather stiff and not moving in the way the other girl's bodies were. Granted, they probably couldn't do half of the things she did so she shrugged it off and looked into Edgar's eyes before the drunk Kalani asked, "What did you say your name was again?" However, she didn't stick around for an answer, something else had caught her eye like a Squirrel with Attention Deficit Disorder. Her messy haired sister and her boyfriend, looking both very pleased with themselves, came out and Kalani, in her drunken state, ran up to her sister and stopped right in front of her. "Oh my god! When did this mirror get here?" she asked loudly, laughing as she waved her arms in the air foolishly and not realizing that her twin did not move with her as a mirrors reflection would have. But Kalani was good and drunk now, what did it matter how stupid she clearly was as she danced and laughed in front of the blond couple. It was only when that reflection spoke back to Kalani that she realized something wasn't right so she put her arms down, stood straight and drank from her cup before trying to spin on her feet and tripping over them and stumbling down to the ground like the good lightweight she was.

That was probably the worst thing about dating the host of the party, getting dragged into doing host-like tasks and so now standing in the kitchen area, Will starting pouring out cups of booze for the all too many sober guests. His gaze and concentration often strayed from the red plastic cups to his girlfriend, where he would offer her a playful smirk before continuing his assigned job. Will had one hand on Riley's hip and the other on the glass bottle and at that moment it was hard for him to decide which he wanted more, a quick swig from the bottle or a quick kiss off his girlfriend. But as Riley weaved her petite frame around to face him, he was no longer torn between this decision. Will smiled down at her before gladly meeting her halfway when she leaned up to kiss him and as they delved into a second more passionate kiss he wrapped both of his arms around her tiny waist, pulling her body in closer to his own. The strong taste of alcohol off her mouth helped remind the fact that Will had not a single drop of anything since he arrived and so still holding the bottle of alcohol, he unravelled his arms from around his girlfriend's waist and went to pour himself his own drink. However Riley seemed to have her own plans in mind and whisked him off once again.

This time, out of the party area altogether. His hand still clasped tightly around the half full bottle of 'Captain Morgan' as Riley continued to drag him up the hall, passing by what could only be Riley's twin, on the way. Will actually had to do a double take they looked so freakishly alike. He had heard so much about the girl but they had yet to be formally introduced, however tonight didn't really seem like a great time, the girl looked more or less hammered. "Wow, you two could be twins you look so alike." Will joked lightly, knowing all the while that neither himself nor Riley were drunk enough to find that joke remotely humorous. He took a quick swig from the bottle as he turned back to face Riley only to find that there was something just a little different about her stance. She looked nervous and it only just dawned on him there and then that they were standing outside a closed door. Will had to admit even he felt a little nervous at the thought of what was about to happen between them but on the other hand, he was bloody well excited. Will pressed his free hand against the door and shifted his body closer to hers, sandwiching her between himself and the closed door. Will leaned down and kissed her, a kiss that would convince her there would be absolutely nothing to be nervous about. This wasn't just any one night stand or just a 'bit of fun' at a party, well so to speak. They trusted each other and knew that even though Will was getting a little caught up in the moment, that it wasn't at all a rushed move in their relationship. His lips moved down to her neck and as he continued to passionately kiss her there, his hand slid down the door to the door handle, where he slowly twisted it and gently pushed the door open. The pair were not in the room long before the door slammed closed once more.</COLOR>

Will sat on the edge of the mattress next to Riley and pulled his vest back on over his head. That was well, to say the very least, incredible! Why they hadn't been doing this sooner was beyond him. Looking down as he began to button up his cardigan, Will smiled to himself, ducking his head lower as he attempted to cover up his smug expression from Riley's gaze. He had to be a cool guy in a situation like this but right now, Will could barely contain himself and his usual boyish, goofy self seemed to just shine through. He left a few of the buttons undone, similar to the fashion it was in before the sex, not that that would cast away any suspicion by the guests as to what went on in the room, he was sure they all knew about it. But at that very moment, Will Connors couldn't have cared less. He turned to look at his very beautiful - and sexy - girlfriend next to him and ran his hand up her thigh, "We should probably rejoin the party..." he said with a reluctant smile. He spoke softly for some reason, perhaps it was something about the current atmosphere in the room. It was quiet, content almost, much like the eighteen year old. He reached over and took the bottle of rum off Riley's dresser as he prepared to leave, but it had unveiled something that brought an instant smile to his face. But not like the one that had graced his features just a few moments earlier, this one was out of sheer affection for the girl sitting beside him. It was a picture, of him, from when they first met. Will raised his hand off her leg, to her soft cheek and quickly leaned over and kissed the other one, closest to him. It was an action that seemed rather tame in comparison to what went on not only a few minutes before, but it was still a rather intimate action between the two lovers.

Hand in hand, the pair walked quite happily out of the bedroom and returned back to the party where thankfully, everyone seemed a little less sober and a little more fun loving. Especially Kalani. They weren't in the room for a minute before she had recognised their presence and in her drunken state, she slurred out what Will could only assume was a stupid drunken comment but which made him laugh all the same. He brought his lips to the top of Riley's head, hiding his amused smirk from her disorderly sister, a smirk that soon became a sweet kiss. As Kalani danced around in front of them, Will could only stand and watch, finding the fact that this was technically their first encounter with each other, rather hilarious. It wasn't until the girl actually stumbled and fell right in front of him, that he became a little concerned. His concern only last a couple of seconds however once he realised that girl was fine and that she was so drunk it probably hadn't hurt at all. "She seems fun." Will said playfully, looking over at Riley before grudgingly pulling his hand out of hers. He placed his hands on his knees as he bent over to speak to Riley's twin, <COLOR color="#2F4F4F">"I'm Will." He shouted down to her slowly as if he was trying to communicate with a non-english speaking person. "It's great to finally meet you." He continued to speak to the drunk in the same manner, breaking into an entertained chuckle as he held out his hand, "Now lets get you up."

As Riley pulled her blonde boyfriend through the crowd of gyrating bodies she smirked a little, tonight was going to be a good night and there was nothing she would let ruin it for her. Not even the eighteen year old's twin, who the couple passed in the hall and who was quite obviously more than a little drunk. Riley arched a perfectly shaped eyebrow towards her twin sister, chuckling a little at Will's goofball comment which managed to lighten her mood and remind her that her sister was not always her responsibility, even if she was going to embarrass herself at their party. "Very funny," Riley commented sarcastically on her boyfriend's remark, looking exactly like her twin sister wasn't always an advantage, though luckily Will could tell the difference between the pair, which was more than Riley could say for some of their friends and teachers in the past. But lately there had been subtle differences between the girls, they both had athletic bodies, Kalani's from her ballet dancing and Riley's own from Quidditch, but Riley carried more of her tone in her arms than her legs like her sister. Riley certainly wasn't usually as graceful as her sister either, but it seemed as a slurr and stumble came from Kalani that tonight was the exception.

The bellowing of music seemed to become quiter as the pair reached the door to Riley's bedroom and she became sandwiched inbetween it and her boyfriend, her empty stomach seemed to be coming back to bite her, and thetaste of spirits mixed between her lips and Will's seemed to remind her strongly of this. Coupled with her teenaged nerves it was almost enough to send her running to the bathroom, untilher boyfriend's lips quitened her and she smiled against his cheek, this night was theirs to have and they had been waiting just about as long as two eighteen year olds could be expected to. Riley's fingers traced patterns on her boyfriend's back as his lips moved down her kneck and the bedroom door gave in behind her with the slight twist of the doorknob. "I love you. the blonde whispered again, she wanted to repeat it again just to make it seem solid in her mind and remind her that what they were doing was fine, because she felt safe with Will and they were in love, in every sense of the word. The months they had been dating had been some of the happiest times Riley had, and she didn't want to jump the gun, they were young afterall, but she could imagine spending a long time with Will. Maybe she wasn't at all ready to think weddings or babies yet, but that was completely natural for an eighteen year old and all she had to think about now was pushing the door closed with her foot before collapsing into the bed with the one she loved.

There was no hiding the smug expression upon Will's face as Riley pulled her shirt back over her head, no matter how hard he tried as he bowed his head. But it didn't matter to her as she turned to him with an equally smug look upon her pink lips, still numb from all of the kisses that had been laid upon them. You wouldn't have known it from the boyish look on Will's face, but he had been a complete gentleman and taken care of everything, at least Riley was sure he had and even so birth control was 100% effective, right? The eighteen year old was sure that teenage pregnancy wasn't something that ran in the family anyway, even if her mother had had her and her twin at age seventeen. Riley's leg twitcheda little as her boyfriend's hand ran up her thigh and she flashed him a stunner smile, though she was a little disappointed that they couldn't have stayed curled up in bed a little longer, thank goodness she didn't share a bedroom with Lani anymore. Though it had been difficult during the move, they had shared furnature in their old bedroom and had had to buy all new dressers and beds since their was nothing to share out. Though since living in the new apartment Riley had already grown a little lonely and crawled into bed with her twin sister, just for old times sake, she had reassured herself, not wanting to touch on the fact that she was desperately missing her mother and the sleepovers the three of them had together back in New Zealand. "Okay, let's go." Riley agreed, her fingers touching the blushed skin on her cheek that had just been pecked.

The couple arrived into the living room again, hair and clothing just a little worse for wear than when they had left that short while ago. But Riley spotted her sister again, and as she looked at her she seemed further from the twin she had curled up in bed with than ever before. Kalani seemed to notice that Will was her boyfriend and asked his name, a normal thing for a first meeting but as her sister fell in front of her, thinking Riley was her reflection in the mirror it was apparant how drunk she was and how Will's first impression of her was not going to be such a great one. "Lani! Riley hissed as if to try and remind her sister that she was in public, but as she began to dance it was apparant that she was far too drunk to care and Riley rolled her eyes as her boyfriend commented on how fun she seemed, feeling embarrassed for her sister as Will offered the hand she had been holding to pull Kalani up and off of the ground. "Thank you," Riley said sympathetically as her boyfriend pulled her drunk sister from the floor, "Really." she added, this was hardly what she wanted her boyfriend to be doing when he first met the family. The eighteen year old placed her hand on Lani's back, rubbing it a little, boy was her sister going to regret her bender in the moring. "Will somebody take her to her room? It's the third door on the left." Riley recited, this was somebody elses problem, and it looked as though she was about to pass out, throw up or both. Turning to Will, Riley took his hand once more, feeling no need to speak on the encounter they had just had, instead chuckling and burying her head in his chest, she had to admit it was funny. "Wanna dance?" she asked, her head emerging from his chest and a playful look in her eyes.

Kalani laughed at herself as she looked up at a reflection of herself and a blonde boy who was now hovering over her. She narrowed her eyes on his as he told her who he was, speaking slowly like she was stupid. She took his hand begrudgingly and said with slurred speech when she stood in front of him, "I'm drunk, not stupid." She simply ignored what the mirrored version of herself said and turned on her heels towards the boy she had been talking to before the floor had ruined their conversation. Little did she know, it would bite her in the butt talking to him in this state so she continued to do so anyway. She put a hand on his muscular shoulder and said with her sloppy mixture of an accent, "Let's dance?" Kalani probably would have stopped herself from doing this if she had known that soon they would be doing nothing but dancing together for he was the Siegfried to her Odette and Odile. She had intended to give the best first impression to anyone in the company but this would not be one of them - it would be the worst and all thanks to whatever was in the red plastic cup she sipped from as she awaited Edgar's answer. "Wait... you aren't going to step on my feet? I need them not broken," she interjected before leaning in and whispering the last bit as if she was telling him that she was a ballerina which wasn't a secret but in her drunken state she seemed to want it to be. Kalani had danced on broken toes before but it was no secret that it was a lost easier to dance with them as healthy as a prima ballerina's toes can be. Especially when they were playing the dual role in Swan Lake.

Kalani Ingrid took another long drink from her plastic cup, getting as drunk as an average person would with five or six drinks in her but she was not average. She was a lot thinner than anyone in the room, she had to be so it would be easy for her partners to lift her but she was healthy. Her restricted diet was not part of an eating disorder like many people believed her to have all throughout her Beauxbatons years. Kalani was simply conscious of what she ate as any smart athlete or artist would be. This was why two cups of whatever was in her cup had affected her this much already and if she drank anymore it would be dangerous. The girl was usually so aware of her body but her mind was clouded with alcohol and a confused type of affection for the boy whose eyes she stared into. There was a connection between them but all she was interested in, at this moment, was embracing it and him. Many could think that she would say the same to any guy who came up to her right now but this was not true at all. Kalani liked this stranger without even knowing him or why.

Life was, simply put, fantastic. Reia didn't know what she had done so right to have a life so full of joy, to have someone that was so fantastic for her and all at such a young age but she was going to continue with whatever she was doing. Moving in with Noah had been nerve wracking but it just felt right to sleep in the same bed beside him and wake up curled in his arms every morning. The only downfall was that she had to lie to her father about moving in with him, surely the man would rip off her boyfriend's arms if he found out they were living together and as far as she could tell, Noah liked to have arms so until they were engaged or already married she would not be telling her father that she had moved in with any male. It was easier for everyone that way, even for her father who had enough stress with Mattea and her rebellious ways. She was so young but already drinking, more than the odd glass of red wine that they were allowed, and openly dating boys and Reia knew the stress would just get to her father if he knew that she was currently changing her clothes in a bedroom that was not all her own. Or if he knew that she was about to go to a party where there would be a lot of drinking. Reia didn't much care for anything but a good glass of wine so she wouldn't be besides she was still trying to impress Noah, even if they were completely comfortable around each other she had no idea what might come out of her mouth or what she might do if she got drunk or even what might come out of his. Reia sat on the edge of their bed and crossed one leg over the other and put on her flats and called out, "Mi cariño?" She was nervous about meeting his cousin and her friends, they would all be strangers and the only person she would know would be Noah and even he did not know everybody so what could she do?

Reia stood up and fixed her hair as she waited for Noah to answer her call. She loved him but her stomach hurt from the anxiety that it was making her doubt going to this party. Perhaps she owed it to him for meeting all of her friends but even that was his choice when he applied to be an exchange student at her academy. It had been a wonderful choice, as far as they were concerned as a couple, but this one she had her doubts with her. But when he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist she knew she couldn't say no to him. Reia's cheeks burned as she put a hand on his cheek with her fingers lightly trailing up and down the nape of his neck. "I'm scared," she admitted with her brown eyes wide in fear at meeting all of these people which normally was something she was great at. But they would all be English speaking and it was not a language that came easily to her, even if she did speak it. Only the basics were what she actually knew which was why she was only a tutor now instead of a Professor at the academy nearest their home. She hadn't felt confident enough and now she was feeling that same discomfort, even as she looked into the eyes of her boyfriend.

sorry for the godmod britt. kind of necessary or it would have been the smallest post ever, yah?

Being in his apartment with his girlfriend made Noah more happy than anyone could have imagined. He couldn't believe that a girl like Reia would ever choose to be like a silly country boy like himself. When Noah, who had now graduated, had first attended the exchange programme in Spain he had thought it was a stupid decision on his and his mother's part, but when he first laid eyes on Reia Vasquez he knew he had been wrong. Ever since he hadbeen a different person, they had had to sneak kisses behind her father's back and risk getting caught, but it was all worth it now that they were living alone together. Of course it was in secret, if Noah's girlfriend's father ever discovered that they shared a bed he would certainly be killed, especially if this lead to him working out what the teenagers had been doing in his home behind his back. It had taken some getting used to when living with the Vasquez family, because Noah's family were very simplistic and still set in their Southern ways. Spain had certainly changed him, taught him things and managed to get him graduated with good enough marks for a job, but Noah hadn't forgotten all of his family values in being with Reia. As a child Noah Wilkonson could remember something his father had said to him, and now as he was getting ready to go out for the night with Reia, that thought sprung back into his mind and he couldn't seem to get rid of it as he looked at the beautiful girl he had managed to make his own.

His father had told him, 'Son, when you find a girl who loves you as much as you love her, marry her, get her pregnant and then spend the rest of you life protecting her.' at his young age Noah hadn't understood what his father was saying, but now he didn, it seemed clearer to him than ever. Reia was the girl he loved, and she loved him. Now they were both young, but standing in his father's suit and tying his blue striped tie, Noah Wilkonson was seriously considering making a life for himself and Reia, a life they could spend together forever. As his girlfriend called him he came running, his Spanish had sharpened up and he immediately wrapped his arms around her slender face, smiling with her touch upon his face so gently. Before she even admitted it Noah could tell that reia was nervous, her first language was not English and he knew this was what she was worried about. He kissed her lightly on the forehead, "Don't worry baby, I'll stay with you, everyone's probably already drunk by now, so we won't have to do much talking." he hoped this would reassure her, he also sat her down on the edge of their bed and shot her a kind smile. It meant so much to him that she was going along to his cousin's party with him and he wanted her to know it, "Gracias" seemed to suffice. "Don't be scared." he reassured her again, and as he looked into her beautiful eyes his father's words came to mind again, without thinking Noah put his hands on Reia's lower stomach and rubbed it gently, but not as if to soothe her nerves, but instead to jump start her uterus, he really didn't know what he was doing.

Realising what he was doing, Noah quickly moved his hands from his girlfriend's slender stomach, hoping she may just let it slip by, or not notice at all. It was unsual for a young man of his age, but Noah had been imagining a baby in Reia's belly, his baby. Standing up abruptly Noah clapped his hands together, "Ready to go sweetheart?" he asked sweetly, but a little rushed as he held both of her hands and apparated them to his cousin's New York apartment so that they were now standing on the doorstep of a booming party. Noah waited for Reia to give him the nod, or try to talk to him about the stomach incident, either way he hoped she would say something quickly, or he may have to have some of the alcohol to which their was plenty at the party to calm his nerves. He really was a silly country boy.

Reia didn't quite understand why parties had to couple with being drunk but she knew that Noah was right. Perhaps they thought it would make them seem more like adults but the Spanish girl did not. She had been able to have wine since she was a young child, within moderation, so she couldn't quite grasp the connection beteen finally being out of the house and the watchful eyes of their parents and getting so drunk you couldn't recognize who you were. As much as she knew Noah wanted to have a good time she didn't want him to be like this, it wasn't who he was. He was a goodd person and too good to be so drunk. She smiled meekly as he thanked her and put a hand on his knee as he sat on their bed beside her. She opened her mouth to say something but Noah did something that surprised and confused her. She looked down at his hand as he was rubbing her stomach and when he took his hand off she looked into his eyes about to question his actions before they were quickly apparated to New York City. Her head pounded only momentarily when she rubbed it soothingly in the way that Noah had done to her stomach but not as strangely. She looked at him. "Noah?" she asked, clearly asking him what he had been doing when he rubbed the hand that held her's on her flat stomach. Reia could not pretend to understand what was going on in her love's mind because he wasn't some one dimensional character in a poorly written story, he was the man she loved with all her heart and as complex as the language he spoke. She pursed her lips momentarily, clearly thinking of how she was to word her question before she asked gently, "En Texas es normal que se frota el estómago de alguien cuando están ansiosos?" The truth was Reia knew it wasn't but she wouldn't ask him what he had done so bluntly because she had a feeling it might be strange or embarrassing whatever had gone through his mind and she didn't want to make him answer even if she would have really appreciated it.

Reia Vasquez trusted Noah with everything so she could take not knowing the answer because everything else in their relationship was so perfect. All of this happiness was like something out of a dream and she could not be happier with how everything was progressing in her young life and she felt it was all due to this strange American boy before her. The one she loved with all her heart and soul. She knew that just by the way he made tea for her in the morning when he was more of a coffee person that she would marry him someday and perhaps have children. She didn't know when and she wasn't rushing towards it but she knew it was all going to happen. They might not be something out of a fairy tale or some romantic comedy but it was true and she knew that she could wake up beside him for the rest of her life.

Through the door Reia could hear the booming music and for a moment it drowned her thoughts out as her gaze fell from Noah, only momentarily, to their surroundings. New York was a gorgeous city and as a child whenever she had wanted to run away she thought of this city. Every American film about it made it seem like such a magical place but when she was fifteen and she had gone the 'je ne sais quoi' was not there. It was all busy streets and yelling muggles and all very overwhelming to even this city girl. There was none of that outside of this apartment because as she looked into Noah's eyes and heard the booming music she felt like it was all inside these doors.
