Billie is a little awkward and clumsy. Having been home-schooled and sheltered by her mother, Billie has never had a lasting friendship of any type. She came into contact with people from a young age due to her mother's job so is more than capable of small talk, but anything beyond that is what trips Billie up. She will try to fill any awkward silence with more conversation, but whether that actually helps remains to be seen.
Billie loves to be outdoors and will spend her days wandering, knowing to be home before it got dark, although she has been caught out a couple of times much to her dismay. Without realizing it, Billie does desire to be liked, and her opinions and decisions can quickly be swayed depending on who she is talking to and what they think and will avoid conflict as much as possible even if she doesn't understand emotional decisions.

Emily and William met through a dating app when they were both on holiday in Sydney, Australia. They spent a lot of the remaining week of Emily's holiday together expecting it to just be a whirlwind fling. But a couple of months down the track, Emily realized she was pregnant. Wanting to do the right thing, William proposed, and Emily being the impulsive person she is, agreed - much to her parents displeasure (especially with a muggle). Emily moved to William's hometown with him - Wallangarra Australia - only for him to pass away in a car accident a couple of months before Billie was born. Emily was far too proud to go back to her parents for help, so she stayed in Wallangarra, getting a job as a ticket sales person at the train station. Emily often bought Billie into work, not fully trusting the mostly muggle community to look after Billie, and not seeing the point in Billie attending school. Emily still continued to be impulsive and a bit flaky, contributing to Billie learning to care for herself, and isolate herself from her mother. Perhaps in witnessing what an outcast Emily is to the community played a part in Billie both wanting to be liked, and distancing herself from Emily.

Billie doesn't have any pets of her own but she does try to feed the wild birds every morning.

Billie is self-reliant, both in knowing how to make toast and cereal, and to entertain herself when she's bored.

Billie struggles to connect with people and form relationships; she doesn't have much emotional intelligence.

Billie is nervous about being at a giant school with lots of people. Okay, not so much the giant part, but the people part for sure. She is definitely trying to calm her nerves by telling herself there will be lots of places to explore, perhaps even new birds to see, and hopefully a self-warming bath (magic, right?). Billie would love to make friends. She envies people with large group of friends that can talk at ease, and she'd love to be able to do that.
Best school subjects:
Billie is probably looking forward to Flying classes, Charms and Care of Magical Creatures the most.
Worst school subjects:
Billie is not looking forward to Potions (she does not have a steady hand), Astronomy and would probably be very bad as Runes and Divination.
