Tholomyes had to admit that he was sad that Venus had decided to leave the school, but he could understand it, she had really struggled with English and with a perfectly good school in France there was really no reason for her to be forced to struggle with English when she could have the easier option. With Victoire there had been the options but they'd been living in Australia at the time, it had just made sense for her to go to the nearest school, with Theo he had always enjoyed english and like his brother he had wanted his secondary education to be at an english speaking school and with them still living closer to New Zealand that had been the logical choice but Venus had really had a choice. For the year they'd spent together it had been great, but he respected his sister and her decisions more than he desired her to remain at the school. This just meant that rather than just finding her to speak to, he had to send letter, and really Tholomyes was not grieving over such a task. He found a school owl and attached the letter he'd written, in his careful and cursive handwriting, before sending the owl off into the early morning, sure, if they were still in the muggle all this would take was a text but the magical world had to be odd backwards about things.

My dear sister how are you? I trust that the people at Beauxbatons are treating you well? Is it a nicer school than Hogwarts? I'll admit I am deeply curious about how Beauxbatons looks in person, all I have seen of it are the pictures in books and I feel they could never do it true justice. I hope you are making friends and finding settling easier.
From what I have read about Beauxbatons that it is a school filled with polite, poised people, just like you dear sister, Hogwarts in comparison is seemingly considered to be disorder border-lining on chaos. I'm sure that compared with Hogwarts, Beauxbatons hasn't lost any students to a body of water on school grounds.
The return to school here has been uneventful, the school is quiet for me, far more so than I am used to, never before have I really be alone at school, Louis attended boarding school before me, and Victoire Hogwarts, for the first time I am alone, and though I was really only close with you, the silence feels oppressing at times. Sorting has nothing of note really, it happened, students were placed into these arbitrary houses that do nothing but keep students away from friends.
I know they don't have houses at Beauxbatons, and Vénus, I'd say that would be favourable, have you had to explain how you are a Gryffindor yet? I sit in the silence of the ravenclaw dorm surrounded by boys who'll recite passages from books but who don't seem to see beyond that level of intelligence, who do not see the world as I do. I sit with paint in my nails, knowing the world is can just be so horrible with no real interest in the school books and I am the strange one.
