Dymetris stood by the entrance of the doorway, his eyes lingering around the great hall searching from sort of sign of Faxen his lovely girlfriend. Sad thing about not planning ahead he wasn't sure if she was coming or not, he just assume she would be here. He hasn't been the best boyfriend these days, with his last year set in place and honored head boy he saw very little of her at times. Except for classes, Dymetris spent most of his time studying alone. But now he regretted not being around more often, and wished he could make it up to her before she decides to leave him. The head boy let out a sighed and walked in finally inside the great hall. He wander about the crowd hoping to catch sight of her or at least someone from his year. He hate to bare he ball alone and waste a night if no one he knew was around. Highly doubting that he continue to swim around the crowd, greeting younger faces who'd recognize the head boy, moving along casually as he did so.

Faxen Lowart had not been invited to the dance officially by her boyfriend. She assumed that he just assumed she would be there. It annoyed her slightly that Dymetris didn't seem to care about whether she attended with him or not. In fact, they rarely saw each other at all anymore. The only time they spent together was in classes when they couldn't speak and all their classmates were around. Faxen's spiteful nature had almost convinced her to find another boy to take her to the dance, not because she wished to go with anyone else, but to make Dymetris jealous. Faxen loved her boyfriend, but she wanted him to realize that she deserved more of his attention.

The slender brunette was dressed in a devastatingly gorgeous silver sequined dress that had a dramatic plunge in the front and an open back. Her dark hair was swept up in a low up-do much like a glam movie star might wear it. The seventh year girl glided across the great hall as her caramel eyes searched for the familiar sight of Dymetris Kozlov. Finally, Faxen spotted him making his way through the crowd. A coy smile appeared on her lips as she made her way to him, admiring how nicely he could clean up. "Hello love." She said kissing him lightly. "You look handsome tonight." Faxen complimented as she wrapped her slender arms around him.

Dymetris looked up seeing someone he hadn't seen in a while make his way over to him, he dropped his jaw literally seeing his girlfriend well put this way. She was gorgeous, simply gorgeous and now it pain him even more knowing he hadn't asked her properly out to the Yule Ball. How easy going she was about this too. He swallowed thickly pressing his lips towards her, were it had left him wanting more. His hands caught the back of her dress were he rested right before it slender down passed her plum bum. "Oh yeah? Well you look wow..." he said trying to be slick about this but lost his trains of thoughts, until he blurted out 'Amazing' to her. A blush creep at the back of his neck and his breathing was heavy as ever.

"Look sorry I haven't been the best of a boyfriend and I've been crap" he said kissing her again, where his lips were left numbed by her shaded lipstick. He kissed once more and pressed firmly just to make sure he wasn't dreaming of this night, when he pulled away he lean his forehead against hers. "I'll make it up to you, yeah? We can go anywhere you like, or live anywhere just as long as were together, I don't care" he said caressing the side of her cheek, "I just want to be with you and only you Faxen" he was thinking along the lines of marriage, like he had a ring for her and everything, he's always had it. He just never knew when it was right to propose to her. And if she'd accept it or not, Faxen just seem free spirited compare to him. Dymetris always wanted to get married someday, it was all about finding the right one and he felt deep in his heart that she was the one for him.

Faxen smirked at Dymetris as he seemed to be stunned speechless by her appearance. She had to admit that she always liked to take his speech away because of her looks. She had no unnatural charms or powers to influence how Dymetris viewed her, but he looked at her now as if she was something heavenly. This must be how someone with Veela blood felt all the time. "Thank you. I an glad you think so." she said with a coy smile. The brunette wrapped her arms around the nape of her boyfriend's neck as he embraced her with his strong arms. Dymetris had taken the role of head boy seriously, so much so that she rarly saw him. Faxen felt his fingertips lightly tracing the silver sequined dress on the small of her back. It distracted her from what Dymetris was saying. She smiled lightly at his apology. Faxen wouldn't admit it to him, but she had been wondering if he was losing his interest in her. She knew it wouldn't have been the first time he had been tempted by a pretty face. Not that he had been alone in that temptation. Faxen had wanted him just as much as he wanted her. That was a different situation she told herself. Dymetris and Faxen were best friends and perfectly fitted together.

Faxen felt the familiar press of his smooth lips to her own. They were only absent for a mere second before returning. Facen kissed him back greedily. The slender girl had missed his presence more than she wanted to admit. She wanted more of his kisses and caresses but the middle of the Great Hall was probably not the best place for that. Dymetris' head rested gently on hers as he promised to make it up to her. They hadn't talked much about their future after Hogwarts. He knew that she wanted to pursue a musical career, however she didn't know what that meant for them. Now, it sounded like he planned to follow her wherever she wished. It sounded like he wanted to move in together. Was she hearing him correctly? Faxen looked up into those pretty sea-foam colored eyes with her own caramel colored ones. She knew that she loved him more than she ever had anyone else. A nagging thought about her Auror best friend crept into her mind but she shoved it out completely. "Are you asking to move in together?" Faxen asked, wanting to make sure that she heard him correctly. His face appeared serious, so she continued. "Dymetris, you know that I love you. I want to be with you, but I want to make sure this is really what you want. I want to perform, to play music. I want to travel. Do you really want to give up everything to come with me?" Faxen asked. The brunette wanted him to say yes, to come away with her. However, it had to be his choice. She didn't want him to resent her later for giving up his dreams to come watch Faxen chase her dreams.

Dymetris smiled crept even more taking up half his faced, he looked down at floor then back up at her again, "Course, I will follow you as long as you want me" he said truthfully, if she wanted him to stay if she wanted him to be around, he'd be there. It sounded like he didn't have a back bone, but he did. He for once wanted to help someone else out instead of worry about his own future, he was running with whatever Faxen ad in mind. Dymetri knew about her love for music, maybe he could dabble along with her, but honestly he wanted to go away for a while and not be bother by any of this. He wanted out of his family sight just for some time so he could understand what it feels like to be alone on his own or with Faxen if she still loved him that is. Yeah she was here, yeah it seems like they were alright but Dymetris couldn't tell. A person could change in one minute about their opinion on someone, he doubt it would be like that with Faxen but still you could never know.

"Actually I wanted to ask you something real important" he moved her away somewhere out of the crowd and away from prying ears. "I wanted to ask you to marry me, but I know that be a little to much considering ya career choices and all.." he said in a serious tone. "Besides there's time for that, but only if you want me around Faxen, I would understand if you don't want me anymore" he said looking down as he grabbed a hold of her hands into his. "Don't ever doubt that I don't love you, because I do" he lean in for a kissed, sweet tender one before he parted ways from her pout. It was all up to her really.

Faxen allowed a smile to dissolve away the seriousness on her face as she heard her boyfriend say that he would follow her as long as she wanted him. To be honest, the slender brunette couldn't imagine a time when she wouldn't want him anymore. She only hoped he wouldn't get tired of the life and career that she wanted to pursue. It would be hard to stay together with the pressure she knew that she would be encountering. It would be even harder if he didn't come with her. Faxen kissed him lightly on his lips. "I will always want you." she said to him. Suddenly, Dymetris was pulling her away, into a secluded corner where they could not be overheard. He said he had something to ask Faxen, something that was important. What could be a bigger deal than moving in together? A question that the Gryffindor had asked, but he had yet to answer. The brunette frowned, confused by what was going on. Faxen wasn't a short girl, but Dymetris was still a good bit taller than her. It was enough that she still looked up at him, searching his face.

Shock. That's what Faxen felt flooding through her. Marriage? Dymetris had been planning on asking her to marry him? What? Was he serious? It didn't escape Faxen that he didn't actually propose. He just mentioned it. Faxen broke eye contact and looked down at their entwined hands as she tried to figure out all the jumbled up thoughts in her head. What should she say back to him? Quite honestly, the idea of marriage was terrifying to her. She thought she was much too young for that. Faxen had been raised in the muggle world. In the muggle world, only girls who were knocked up got married at seventeen. It was into the muggle world that she wanted to go once more. The prefect loved magic, but she also loved the muggle world. Muggle music was what she wanted to pursue. Still, Faxen also knew that she wanted to be with Dymetris. He was her first love and she wanted him to be her last. Her face flushed as she looked back up at her handsome boyfriend. "You really want to marry me? Now? Are you serious?" she asked him, wanting clarification. She gulped in a breath of air. "Dymetris, I love you oh so much. I want you. I want you now and forever. But I don't know if I am ready for marriage just yet. I just think we are too young for that kind of talk. How often does it really work out at our age? How do you know it would work out for us?" Faxen asked him, hoping that he wasn't going to be angry with her for voicing her doubts about marriage. Not that she never wanted to marry him. She might one day. Faxen just wasn't sure that now was the best timing wise.

Dymetris smiled, tender warmth filled his heart. There was hope from them after all, she still wanted him. And she loved him just the same as much as he loved her. The desire to pull her into a kiss grew within him, he pulled her closed and kissed her fully as he look down at her. His eyes would flutter shut at the intimate moment but as he parted ways, her words the rest of it he took in serious. He nodded, "I know, it's a big deal and maybe I'm just scared that I might lose you, so I wanted to say anything to keep you here with me" he admitted as a blush crest his cheek, he didn't want to lose her ever. And although he had been with a few girls before Faxen, she was consider his first love and he wanted nothing more but to keep it that way. A little intense but he couldn't help what he felt. And he felt as if though it would kill him if she separated from.

"It can be something that comes up in the later future" he said holding onto her hands again, he would do it right of course but she had to know that eventually that's what he wanted. He wanted her, he wanted a family, he wanted a healthy home just like his parents provided him all this year. Tis a shame they waited so long to have his younger brother, but Micky was here and he seemed happy with all the attention his parents gave him. He had a younger brother and he will do best to be there for him in his time of need, though still the age barrier killed it loads. But not everything was perfect, and he realized that now more than ever. More with Faxen, more with himself, he's matured greatly. Everyone may not see it but he felt it, despite the rest of his classmates and how they felt about him these days, Dymetris did his best to ignore it. Because that's what someone who's aged would do, ignore it and carry on. He smiled down at her, his thumb traced down her lips, "I love you so much Faxen, you make me happy.." he said and lean over did Dymetris did so, he kissed down her lips spftly.
