Isabella had been pretty absorbed in her classes lately and it seemed like she never had time to go out and have a little fun. She had finished most of her school work for the day and new she wouldn't fall behind if she left it for a while. So after talking herself into it Bella grabbed her acoustic guitar and walked down to the lake, it was still pretty warm out for the season and the water was pretty with the fading light. Bella loved this time of day, not yet night not quite day. It was so calm and peaceful. She sat down cross legged in front of the water and set her guitar on her lap. It was really lovely with all the other kids inside doing their homework or settling in for the night it was just her and the great outdoors. It was the great place to practice her music, she still wasn't totally comfortable playing in front of people besides family but was slowly getting over it. She started strumming We'll Be a Dream by We the Kings it was one of her favorite songs, and when the Demi Lovato part came up she sang. Not very loud but louder than normal for her. It felt nice to play and sing, it was a release for her and helped with some of the stress from school.

Damien was sitting in the common room, idly strumming his guitar, much to the annoyance of the two girls seated beside him.He wasn't really aware of the dirty looks directed at him.His mind was elsewhere. He was still angry at Andrea. She hadn't spoken to him,she had been avoiding him which was really p!ssing him off because he was in this as much as she.The teasing had begun shortly after the release of the newest version of the magazine. Why RHI thought he was gay was beyond him but being called that had amused many students in the school and the often liked to tell him this in many ways.He just couldn't wait till they got bored of what they were doing. They were a bunch of dumbies anyways and Damien just found them annoying.Things wouldn't be too bad if Andi was actually speaking to him.To be honest he didn't care if people thought he was in love with her.He wasn't and that was all that matters.Andi was more of a sister to him and anyways he had feelings for another girl. His mind was just a mess at the moment and his temper was flaring up more the usual. At time he wanted to bunch anyone who said anything about the magazine to him.He had nearly lost control a few times but he knew he would be in some trouble if he punched someone and it wasn't worth it.

Damien looked outside the window, the light was fading and he needed some space. He got up abruptly and slung his guitar around his back.He began the walk to the Lakefront. He wanted somewhere quiet where he could play his guitar and relax.Since JazzyMae seemed to have liked his song ,Damien had become more confident in his song writing skills. The burst in confidence had spurred a lot of new songs. The Rumor Has It magazine had helped the inspiration of the songs as had Andi refusal to talk to him.He had spent nights up in the his room, writing and writing, singing quietly so he didn't disturb anyone. He was quiet tired from the late nights and homework but he had to admit he had probably wrote his best songs yet.Practice had also helped,he had been writing since he was nine.He was now outside the castle. He could hear all the nights bugs making their sounds. Both the moon and sun was out,the sun low in the sky while the moon was high.As he walked, looking for a nice place to sit he heard some music being played.Curiously he followed the sound and came upon a girl playing the guitar and singing. He stood their listening to her lovely voice and good guitar playing. When she finished he clapped his hands quietly "That was good"He said walking towards her.As he neared her he realize who it was "Oh Hey Isabella, haven't seen you in a while"He said smiling

Isabella stiffened at the sound of someone behind her. She should have seen this coming but right now she was shocked and blushing, thank goodness her back was facing them. It was still a little unnerving for Isabella to know people had heard her and a complement as well didn't help her anxiety. Composing herself Bella looked over her shoulder and saw Damien, he had seen her first and said what she was thinking, it had been a while. "Thanks for the compliment." She hoped her blush had faded by now, but really he had already heard her sing, and she had heard him sing so it made calming down easier. "I know right, school can be a lot to handle at times." She smiled at him. Isabella had always liked Damien they had a lot in common and there weren't many people that shared her interest in music. Ally did but she was still learning the basics. It was always nice to be around people like yourself and Isabella figured that was where her attraction to Damien came from. Looking up at him she noticed that he had his guitar, he must have had the same idea as her. It wouldn't be the first time.

Tonight was much like the night they had first met. Except Damien had been the one that Isabella had heard singing and sought out. It was odd the things that happened to people, but Bella wasn't one to question fate, not when it had brought her friend out after curfew to the same spot as she. It was to much to ponder for the time being. Looking at Damien Bella smiled and pat the grass next to her, "Come, sit." She wondered what had been happening with Damien she knew the last time they had seen each other he had a lot going on with his parents but Bella wouldn't ask now, maybe not at all. She liked to see where a conversation might lead without bringing up too much of the serious catching up, that could always wait for another time. Isabella picked a few chords, "So it seems we both brought our guitars." She grinned, maybe they could play together, that would be interesting. And the idea of it didn't scare her at all.

Damien often went outside to play his guitar or just have a little space and get away from the worries and stress of school. This time was always the best because there was no one really about and it was quiet and serene. It was beautiful at night and not many people really knew how beautiful it could be because mostly people were inside. It was a shame really because it was one of the greatest times of the 24 hour period.Well that's what Damien thought. He had never seen anyone before when he had come out.Isabella was the first person he had met.He was glad that he had met someone he knew.He hadn't seen her since last year.He had a lot in common with her.He had only briefly heard her sing before and she had a lovely voice,he wondered why she didn't sing more often or join the Glee Club. Damien had always been confident in his winging abilities due to the constant compliments from his aunt and also reaction from the street when he would busk. "Your welcome"He said smiling "Yeah, especially if you can't read or write properly"He muttered

This time both of them had a guitar this time, last time the two had met it had almost been in similar circumstances, except this time they were breaking the curfew but he doubted they would get caught,it's not like they were doing anything dangerous or extreme anyways.Damien took his guitar from his back and sat down beside her before putting his guitar on his lap.A lot had happened since the two had last met.He wondered what had happened with her life since they had met. "I guess we do"He said grinning "Why don't we play together?"He suggested,it would be interesting to see how they sounded together

Isabella smiled and watched as Damien sat down. She wasn't sure she had heard his mumbling quite right but it sounded as if he said he couldn't read or write. Not focusing on it too long she was glad when he suggested then play together. This would be a first time experience for Bella, she had taught herself how to play guitar after years of piano lessons. She had never played with someone else although she was sure it would come as naturally as playing by herself had. "Alright." Bella said hoping she didn't sound too anxious. She wasn't quite sure how it worked but figured if she just started playing he would jump in. So going with her instinct Bella started strumming softly at first working up to a faster pace, what she was playing was actually similar to a song she had been writing. Bella was one for songs with music that uplifted people as much as the lyrics did. Because that was what music was supposed to get caught up in it no matter what you may have been thinking about before the notes started. It was so easy to lose yourself in the music, because really it was a deep expression of who you were as a person. It always but Isabella at ease and now harmonizing with Damien was like nothing she had ever experienced before.
