Tabitha was pretty much tired of hanging out in the dungeons on her own. Granted, she liked being alone but besides classes, she didn't really feel part of the student body or the school at all. She wasn't aware that there was going to be a Halloween Feast since she was cut off the the goings-on of the school and didn't have a costume ready. She had opened her trunk, found her green blazer and a orange top. Throwing that on along with her school skirt and combat boots that she already had on. A glance in the mirror proved that she made a pretty decent Daria Morgendorffer, a character who was just like her.

Now, she entered the Great Hall, feeling lost. Everywhere she looked she saw unfamiliar faces. Here and there she saw people from her classes or the common room but there was no one who she actually knew.
'What am I doing here?', She said angrily to herself, the regret clearly etched on her forehead. As she walked, she straightened her glasses, bumping into someone in front of her.

Elijah had always loved Halloween. It was in his eyes better than Christmas and Easter put together. He loved that for one night you could dress up as anything and people couldn't accuse you of being weird or stupid. Elijah hadn't made his costume. He'd worn it the year before and thought it would just be practical to just wear it for this Halloween too, people wouldn't actually know. He was very pleased to be at Hogwart's Halloween feast. He knewit would be a lot of fun, if he could just find someone to talk to. Elijah wanders for a little while. Taking a drink and through his cow costume drinking the drink.

His cotumes was more for humor rather than to scare and he really hoped it was cool and funny. He also thought that he looked quite unrecongisable. Unless he took off the cow's head. Eli without looking bumped into a girl who he recongised slightly as the girl, by the name Tabitha from the student lounge. His slytherin friend. Elijah walked over to her and pulled down his hood.

"Tabitha, hey! Sorry about." Elijah said smiling at her. "Awesome costume."

Tabitha stepped back, opening her mouth to apologize to the person she bumped into but paused, surprised, when she recognized him. It was the Hufflepuff boy she had met in the student lounge. Except today he was dressed in the most ridiculous costume.
"Elijah! Thanks, it's just something I threw together. Literally.", Tabitha exclaimed, glad that she was no longer alone. Then looked at his costume, smirking,"You're a cow."

Elijah was pleased that Tabitha recongised him. It was nice to know he had friends outwith Hufflpuff. Though he had few. He smiled at his friend and then pretended to take ofence to what she said. Pretending that he thouht she meant cow in the slang term rather than in the literal term of what he was wearing.

"There is no need to be mean about it." Elijah said trying to stay serious but failing. He was soon after speaking burst into laughter. "I Kid. Yeah. Pretty Awesome and weird. But your costume is that too without the weird. You want to go get some drinks? Eli asked motioning with his hand towards the drinks table.

At first, Tabitha believed that Elijah was truly offended. Although she had based this belief on his being a Hufflepuff. She grinned back at him as he burst into laughter, unable to keep his face straight.
"Yeah, it's interesting since I've never seen a cow on Halloween. Just a bunch of cliché ideas.", Tibby said. It was her version of a compliment. She neglected to mention that her 'costume' was pretty much her usual attire,"Drinks sound good."

Elijah walked with Tabitha to the drinks and not sure what she'd like handed her a drunk of pumpkin juice. Hr was yet to meet a person who didn't like pumpkin juice. Je looked around the hall. It was strange to think that the year befor on the 31st of October he'd been in his room playing away at his guitar while in the same cow suit. He thought this as also pretty funny. He picked up a glass of butterbeer for himself and took a small drink.

"How have you been since the last time we met?" Elijah asked making small talk with his friend.

Tabitha set the Pumpkin juice right back down the moment Elijah handed it to her. Pumpkin juice was disgustingly sweet. Taking a butterbeer for herself and looked up at Elijah.

"I've been bored to tears. The only other person I met was a psychotic ghost", She complained, nodding in the direction of a ghost floating around a bunch of Slytherins. Without bothering to ask him how he was, she lifted her glass the way she always did with her brother,"Cheers. To...new friends, perhaps?"
