Rose looked at the watch on her wrist and sighed.It was two in the morning and she still hadn't fallen asleep.She wasn't sure what was up with her,usually once she lay her head on the pillow she was out like a light but tonight was a different story.No matter what way she was lying in the bed she just couldn't settle.It was most annoying and Rose felt like screaming in frustration but that would of course probably wake the whole house up and she would probably be given out to be a lot of people so Rose was left to suffer by herself.It wasn't a new concept to her.She contemplated walking down to the music room and playing the piano but that was very far away and Rose wasn't that desperate at this stage to walk down all the flight of stairs.She sat up on her bed and looked around the room.Everyone was sleeping soundly, a couple of people were snoring which didn't help her trying to get to sleep.She lay back on the bed again and let out a small sigh of frustration.She was really getting sick and tired of nights.Between the recurring nightmare and the inability to sleep was really affecting her mood during the day.She was much more irritable,tired and not her usual happy self.
After another half an hour of staring at the ceiling she finally got out of bed.She put on a jumper and shoes and took out her notepad and pencils.If anything could lull her to sleep,drawing would.Even if it was just of something in the North Tower.Rose would inspect every inch of it and make sure she had every detail before starting the sketch and she would put as much effort in as she could and she would work at it until she was tired enough that she knew she could fall asleep.She walked out of the dorm and walked through the common room and out the portrait.She quietly walked up the flight of stairs to the north tower.It wasn't that far up thankfully.It was colder up in the tower and Rose could see her breath come out in puffs.She shivered slightly but she looked for something to draw.she briefly went to the top and looked out at the night sky.It was pretty beautiful.The night was as clear and Rose could see all the stars.Rose looked up for the sky for a while.Nothing important going through her head.She was quite relaxed just gazing up at the sky.
