Open after Arle
A week has already gone by as classes had started up. Some where easy as they are all starting lessons and some might not be. For young Zhenya, it was the lack of interactions with the other houses, granted they're in her classes but she mainly studies the other people around her. Calculating them. Beyond bored at her dorm room with nothing else to do and with no one else to talk to, she decided to go down and explore the kitchen she had been hearing about.

Although she didn't know what to do down there, she still went. The door to the kitchen was a painting of a fruit bowl, there was no sign of a doorknob or anything. Just a framed big painting of a fruit bowl. Zhenya stared at it, thinking, she'd been hearing about this since she got here in the castle but never heard about how you open the door to it. The Ravenclaw looked around to see if anybody older was near for them to open it for her. It wasn't important, really, but it was nice to meet the people who work there, Who pretty much cooks for hundreds of children.

It was a quiet afternoon and Avery was already done with his homework. The common room was eerily quiet so he decided to stretch out and go down from the tower. Going down several flights of staircases, he suddenly felt hunger, directing his feet to the kitchens. Normally, they were not allowed there but since it was almost the weekend and still wasn't a curfew, it was acceptable as long as they would not create chaos for the house elves.

As Avery reached the last step to the kitchens, he noticed a seemingly young girl in front of the entrance. She was definitely a first-year as she did not know how to gain access to it. By her robes, she was in the same house as he was. He approached her and gave a small nod. "Do you want to enter the kitchens?", he asked in a soft polite voice.

She rocked her feet, sensing she was getting bored. With nobody there to help her, she almost abandoned the thought of going inside until somebody acknowledge her. Zhenya turned around to see a boy with the same colour robes as her and gave him a big smile. "Yes, please." Her Russian accent thick but she never thought of masking it. "But I've heard we're not allowed here? I just want to see the workers inside and thank them." Zhenya was always affectionate and kind. It was her parents who taught to be one, there were already too much bad in the world and doing good can't kill you.
