Maeve had not been able to sleep once again, the bump was so large now it was beyond cumbersome. She moved her large bulging frame down the stairs, enjoying the solitude and peace for a while. Her heart was heavy, she had not known what to expect after her last meeting with her husband. One moment he had been so cold and vicious to her and the next so gentle and tender. She had been utterly confused by it all, her head hurt something awful now as she made her way slowly down the stairs, into the hall way where she then made her way to the living room.
Hearing a noise she turned to see an envelope flutter down the chimney and land unceremoniously in the hearth. Just as well she had not sat down for trying to get back up again would have been a struggle. She went over to the fireplace and took the envelope out of the cold grate. On opening it she saw Luxen's neat handwriting across two sheets of parchment. She began to read...
Maeve let out a piercing shriek and fell to the floor. The letters clutched in her hands still. He was dead, as good as by the tone of his letters. She couldn't comprehend it, suddenly a more piercing pain tore through her as a contraction hit her hard. She clutched the expensive rug and screamed in agony once more.
"Martha!"

To my Beloved Wife and Children,
Maeve, the greatest thing in my life was meeting you. As children we went to the same school and yet that same school and it's children seemed to drive us apart. I do not blame the other children however as it was my fault for not being brave enough to stand by the only woman I've ever truly loved and simply give into peer preassure. When I met you years later I thought the world was playing some cruel joke, my life was not the greatest and I have never been a good person and yet here you were, a gift from the heavens. Tonight I am facing what may be my last and have no intentions of running away, for months now Morganna Le'Creigh has wanted me to kill you going as far as bewitching me to do it. I do not hate her because we are kindred spirits, she as black and twisted as my soul. If she is my soul however then you are my heart, anything good I could ever have done was only because of you and I only wonder what good things I might've accomplished had I been with you since the begining. I do not know how much I could thank you only that I know I am very greatfull and happy to have had you in my life, I would also like to say that I am sorry for everything I've done to you and to anyone else that I've hurt and I only wish that I could make it up. Perhaps by taking out a small part of the evil that lives in this world I may make up for my sins.
Luthor, Mother, and the twins, my son you are my most prized thing in my life. I don't think I've ever done anything right untill you were born and I can only hope that you continue to do the right thing, look after your mother and your siblings and continue to do the great things that I know you are capable of. Mother, I'm not the best son but I am yours and while we may have had disagreements in the past I know you will continue to look after Maeve and my children. The Twins, I only wish I could see you born however I believe that it may be a blessing. Your father was not a good man and I can only hope that your life is nothing like mine, do good and hopefully you'll end up in Ravenclaw like your mother.
