While the last term had been pretty hard, the young Gryffindor was sure that everything would come to a point and that when the OWLs finally arrived, he would not only be ready for them, but he would be able to do well in them. Thereby laying the way out for him, to continue with his studies and achieve the goal he was setting for himself. Ty had been thinking hard about it, and he had always been interested, even as a young child back in Georgia about doctors, and more importantly helping people. The move, and this new school, had changed his view on life slightly, though at least not the point about helping people, Tybalt had kept that but until recent the thought hadn't even crossed his mind that the career for him could be in becoming a healer. But, at this point he was pretty happy that it was something he had decided he wanted. The teen was in the first few days of this second semester, and having spent a much needed holiday with his family, he felt very ready to face the huge task in front of him. He knew that no matter what he did, that his family would be proud of him. Lydia, his parents, his cousin. He loved them all dearly and while, the Gryffindor knew he could fail all of his exams and they'd still love and be proud of him, but he wanted to do incredibly well. He wanted to show them, that his schooling was not going to waste, and all the extra-curricular were not impacting upon his schooling. Though admittedly the teen found them more fun than studying. Tybalt had a number books in his arms, and the school bag was slipping down his shoulder as he walked. The boy was smiling as he made his way through the halls, wearing his casual clothes, though the prefects badge was still pinned to his t-shirt. While things hadn't quite started here again, it was a huge honour to the boy and he wore the badge with immense pride. Tybalt had switched his glasses for the contacts and was looking forward to a bit of quite reading time.

After wandering through the many halls at a much slower pace than normal, the teen finally stumbled upon where he wanted to be. The student lounge. Since it was the first few days back, he assumed that while it would be a bit busy he would not have to worry about the noise. He could settle down, and like the small hum fill his ears so he could focus on the reading he had to do. As the Gryffindor had predicted the lounge was not overly busy. Which for him was great. He smiled happily to himself before making his way through the room to the set of sofa's near the back. The ones that were next to a fire place, since it was summer, and a lovely sunshine shone through the window, the room was plenty warm, and there was no fire burning. He placed the books down on the sofa, and the bag down on the ground in front of them, before taking a seat on the sofa, by just falling backwards, with his arms open. However he was incredibly careful to not accidentally hit the books. That was hitting the books in all the wrong ways. He took a moment to just glance around. To enjoy the room. The reasoning behind Ty's renewed desire to be a healer, as side from wanting to help people, was for the fact he was monochromatic. His eyesight was surely something a combination of muggle and magic science and healing could cure. He was sure that with that cured that the curse he felt was upon the Archer clan would truly be lifted. Misfortune might strike them again, but it would be nothing that he, nor anyone else could handle. It would never be just one thing after another. Tybalt had never really come to terms with his eye sight, his father seemed to be, his brother had been, had often encouraged Ty to embrace it, Stefan seemed unbothered by it, but for Tybalt Archer, it had been the source of most of his issues. He wanted to see the gold and red of Gryffindor. He wanted to see B's full beauty. He wanted his family to be all better. With this thought lingering in his mind, the teen picked up the top book on his little pile and after flicking through the pages, settled upon the chapter he'd last been reading, and started. He knew he would need to work so very hard to become everything that he wanted to be in life. Although, Tybalt knew that since it was the first few days back, someone to talk to was not exactly be unwelcome.
