Larissa was completely bored.
She stood in the owlery with her arms folded across her chest, her sleander body leant against the stone wall.
Larissa had sent a letter to her mother informing her of what subjects she was taking.
It was not her mother's choice and therefore, Larissa had made it before asking her mother.
She was now waiting for an angry reply.
Larissa had sent Ted with the letter. He was usually very fast on deliveries and it wasn't exactly far to fly.
"He should be back soon," Larissa muttered to herself, noticing the sun beginning to set at the end of the Autumn day.
It had been a nice day with which Larissa had not bothered.

Alexis barged into the owlery.
"Oh, sorry", She said. She hadn't realised there was somebody in there.
"I'm just a bit... annoyed. My foster parents havn't messaged back in.. weeks. I was coming to see if they had yet".
She looked around her.
"Obviously not. Who are you expecting to hear from?" She asked, still rummaging through the post to see if hers had arrived.

Larissa rolled her eyes. She recognized this girl as one of the first years she had seen in the library.
"My mother." Larissa begrudged the girl. "Just to tell her my elective choices for my third year."
She didn't know why she was bothering to tell the girl this.
Larissa stretched her arms out before her slender body until she heard a satisfying crack of her bones.
"Fostered, hm? Interesting." Larissa didn't know why it was interesting but this girl seemed very friendly and there was only one thing for it- Larissa would manipulate the situation.
"So.." Larissa thought back to when they'd first met, then she remembered the name, "Alexis, tell me.. do you believe muggle-borns should have the same rights as half bloods or mixed bloods?" Larissa reached into her pocket.
If Larissa disliked Alexis' answer then she would show this dislike.

Alexis noticed Larissa rolling her eyes. Alex imagined that Larissa was already bored of this conversation. She was surprised when she asked her a question.
She wasn't too sure how to answer it. She became anxious when Larissa's hand went into her pocked.
"Yes, I think it's totally unfair that muggle-borns are treated differently".
She wasn't lying. She had never thought of it before, but hey, why not?
Alexis hoped that was the right answer.
Suddenly, she noticed that there was a letter for her, right at the bottom of the pile. But it wasn't from her parents.
She tucked it into her bag and swung her bag over her shoulder, hoping Larissa wouldn't notice what she had just done, and question her about it, because truthfully, she had no idea who it was from.

Larissa smirked. "I thought as much." she said as Alexis answered, Larissa's eyes then picking up on a letter Alexis had found.
She pointed her wand at Alexis. "mudbloods do not deserve the rights they have... Stupefy!"
The stunning spell shot straight towards Alexis and at the same time, Larissa dived at Alexis, her hands shooting into her bag for the letter.
It wasn't that Larissa actually cared what was in the letter, more that she enjoyed the satisfaction of not letting Alexis read it.

Alexis hated Larissa when she smirked at her. She suddenly realised Larissa had seen the letter. Before she could stop her, Larissa had pointed her want at her. She gasped.
"No!" She cried, trying to snatch the letter back. Then she decided not to bother.
"I dunno who it's from.." She pointed out, hoping Larissa would give the letter back. It probably wouldn't be that easy.
"It's none of your buisness anyway, give it back". She said as casually as possible.
She was worried that it was from a boy, or even her secret sister she had never told anybody about.

Larissa grinned, opened the letter out of Alexis' reach and scanned the page with her eyes.
Her eyebrows raised once more and she stuffed the letter back into Alexis' bag.
"Yeah, sure, whatever." Larissa said casually as she walked from the owlery and towards the castle.

Alexis threw the letter in the trash and hurried after Larissa.
"Look, I don't care who it was from right?".
Lie. She did care who it was from, and wanted to find out too.
"Who was it from? I mean, not that it matters..".
She had to walk twice as quickly to keep up with Larissa.

Larissa turned, her piercing blue eyes and sour milk face suddenly right in front of Alexis'.
"Why are you so keen to be friendly?" she asked, folding her arms and raising her eyebrows.
"Do I have something you want?" Larissa peered down at this child. She obviously had a reason for wanting to make friends..
And then, a peculiar thought crossed Larissa's mind; Maybe Larissa could take Alexis on as a sort of.. pet. A spy on those in another house- she could teach her what was right and wrong.
This thought made Larissa smile.

"I'm not trying to be friendly". She took it as an insult.
"And no. I'm just curious." She noticed Larissa smile. "Whats so funny?" She asked, frowning.
Larissa had the same look on her face that Ali had when she was working something out to do on Alex and had ended up smashing a window.
"You're up to something, why don't you just tell me?"

Larissa nodded.
"Ok," she said smirking, "How would you like to become popular?"
Larissa's eyes were focussed on Alexis'. Her mouth formed a half smile.
"Because I can offer you friends who will take care of you. What do you think?"

"What?" She said. "Are you saying i'm not popular?" She gave a smirk. "Oh by the way, I have a boyfriend".
She smiled and flicked a speck of dust off her blazer.
Suddenly, she sneezed and fell into a nearby candle, knocking it over, and setting her blazer alight.

(Lol)

Larissa raised her eyebrows.
Why should she care if Alexis had a boyfriend?
"That's exactly what I'm saying." Larissa said honestly, sniggering as she saw the girl catch light.
She could not put the fire out by magic. She did not know any spells. Instead, Larissa simply continued walking away from Alexis, leaving her to deal with the firey mess she was now in.

(( :lawlz: ))

Larissa turned sharply on her heel and stared down at Alexis.
"What I'm saying, young Gryffindor, is that I can offer you powerful friends.. All I ask in return is that you learn the ways of me and my friends. That is all." She smiled darkly at Alexis.

She paused, not sure of what to say next.
"No.."
She said. "I don't want to be part of what you're saying."
She turned her back on Larissa and swiftly walked the other way, and out of the door.
