Daniel came out of the gates and walked down to th elake,he was sure that he was being followed by kasey.It was pitch black except the moon light that reflected in the lake water tht was nearly frozen
 
Kasey walked out of the gates and a cold breeze of air swept pass her.She felt that she needed this chilled breeze otherwise she would have gone sick.She walked down to the lake and saw the beautiful reflection of the moon in the lake water.
 
"its beautiful,isnt it?"daniel asked kasey.He looked at her the moon made her face shine together with he curly golden brown hair,she looked beautiful
 
Daniel walked silently beside kasey to the shore and said"I wish i would be brave"he said.
 
"No i m not"said daniel."thats the reason i got scared in the mansion,i am not brave"he said.
 
"So you could be brave.Braveness isnt with one since birth,you got to be brave and strong.Just think the worst that can happen is death and its not a big deal i mean its what you are doing ,whether it is something important an dbrave or being scared.Dont let something stop you.Do whatever you hear says"she said making him comfortable as if giving him bravery lessons.
 
"Do you think i could ever be brave?"dan asked kasey hoping for a answer'yes'."I maen my parents have always been complaining that i should learn facing th eworld and stuff"said dan
 
"Of course you can,You just need to fix that adrelaline(sp?)hormone and all is well"she said with a giggle."ya you can"she said a bit more seriously this timne
 
"okay,i will try.I hope i will one day be brave"he said watching the moon being covered by the clouds.It was more dark now.DAn took out his wand from his pocket and said"Lumos."and a blue eam of light came out from his wand.
 
Kasey saw as the moon hid behind the clouds."Lumos"she said under her breath as she took out here wand."Have you been out so late at night?"she asked
 
"Once,"said Dan."I was sneaking out of bed and eating candy with a bunch of friends at halloween night."he said."all the kids were to be in bed but we had planned to sneak out and enjoy the yummies."
 
Gabriel had been patrolling the lake when he noticed two first year students walking around by the lake. It was way past midnight, and to better see the curfew breakers, he lifted his wand, pronouncing clearly, "Lumos." He did not recognize the two students, but approached them, stating firmly, "What are two students doing out this late? It is way past curfew."
 
Dan saw as Professor came towards them.Goosebumps erupted on his neck."Umm..we were here to have a look at the moonlight.Isnt it beautiful' he said hoping the Professor would buy it.'Actually,he said she was feeling like a headache being in the castle in the whole day and she said she would vomit if we wouldnt go and have some fresh air'he added doing good salesmen ship hoping the Professor would leave them .If his mom got any info on him being out of bed after time he was going to be grounded for a week.It was his first time to be caught.'Please god'he said in his mind.
 
"Ya,we were here caz i wasnt feeling good and thought not to bother the nurse"Kasey added in.She thought how lucky she would have been if she had some Peruvuian darkness powder at the moment.
 
Professor Lloyd looked sternly at the two first years. "You two are Ravenclaws, am I correct?" His gaze remained serious, his dark eyes hopefully intimidating. "Whether you were feeling under the weather or not, it does not give you an excuse to be out after hours, and no less outside."
 
"Ya you are correct,we are Ravenclaws.We are sorry"said Daniel in a low voice.
 
"Whether you give me an apology or not does not give you an excuse to be out of your dormitories after midnight," Gabriel repeated sternly. "No matter what excuses you are giving me, rules at this school have been placed for a reason, not to simply be overlooked and cast aside."
 
"So we are ending up in detention?"asked Daniel sadly.
 
Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "No, I never said that, did I?" he replied with a stern look, making sure that the two were listening to him. "I'll let you get off with a warning; but if I ever catch either of you out after hours again, or even get wind of it, you're going to regret it." He stood there, his long coat billowing behind him in the soft breeze. "Now, start walking until you get to Ravenclaw Tower, and do not stray from the path. Do you need me to escort you there or are you mature enough to handle doing as you're told and not wandering off?"
