Astronomy 1:6

Adorah finished setting up a few bowls and trays of snacks on a table kissing the front of her desk before taking a seat in her chair. The semester had gone by so fast, and she enjoyed seeing the students who were budding astronomers or at least astronomy levels come out of the woodworks. She made notes of who to keep an eye on over the next few years because she knew she'd likely forget before she came back from the break. The former Ravenclaw was exhausted, and Adorah was excited about the idea of spending time with Noel and enjoying some of her hobbies during the upcoming break. Letting the students in, she waited until they all sat down to begin speaking.

"Good afternoon! First, I want to say how very proud I am of all the work you did last week and the entire semester. This week, we are meeting earlier in the day because... it's review day!" she exclaimed with a little more enthusiasm than she was used to producing. "But first, I have some snacks for you to share and enjoy! I want all of you to review the material we learned over the semester, and this is your time to ask me questions about anything you're struggling with. You can also set up a meeting with me outside of class if you need anymore help before exams," she said with a bright smile on her face. She sat back down at her desk and helped any of the students who came up to her during their hour of studying. The time went quick, and she hoped they all used their time in the way they most needed. When the bell rang, she dismissed them, heading over to the table to clean up any leftover snacks.

[Freddie Lagowski]

Freddie, who had totally forgotten Astronomy was at a different time today, burst into the classroom ten minutes late and a bit out of breath. He sat down, looking around. Oh. They were just studying? Okay - he didn't really miss anything, then. He took out his books and flipped open the covers. He could probably remember the stuff they did that month, so he was gonna read his notes in September. Not that it would help much. He was gonna fail these exams sooo hard.​

 

[Gaia Athanasiou]

Gaia walked into the Astronomy classroom glad the first semester was already almost over. She was itching to get away from the busy castle for a bit though she supposed home wasn't much better these days. The twins would be about like 6? months now? Yeah it was going to be chaos so Gaia would have to figure something out. Perhaps she'd tag to Nia's side and go where ever the second year took them. Sitting down on her seat the Slytherin observed the Professor and whatever she was talking about, not caring much about the snacks she got right into reviewing her notes until the class ended and she was released into the freedom of the corridor.

 

[Zeke Baros]

Zeke arrived for Astronomy and could see the lesson was a little different to the previous ones, with snacks laid out for them. Zeke listened when he heard this was also a review lesson. He took out his notes and read over some while he ate some snacks. At the end of the lesson, Zeke packed up and left the classroom.

 

[Marina Vortalis]

Marina didn’t like review or study lessons because she considered them to be a waste of time - either let her study on her own or teach her something new. She knew what her study style was like and it wasn’t sitting in a classroom surrounded by other people, some of which would make her carry heavy objects up and down stairs without even bothered to tell her that’s what they wanted her to do. She might even have been okay with it if he’d told her, or even given her a reason, but she just had to assume he was mean to her without reason, she’d barely even spoken to him before that. When the lesson ended she’d reviewed most of her notes and she decided to head to the library to finish up.​
