FULL NAME:
Asparagus "Aspara" Charles Tsvetkov

MEANING:
Asparagus - The name "asparagus" comes from the Greek language meaning "sprout" or "shoot"
Charles - A theory states that it is derived from the common Germanic element hari meaning "army, warrior"
Tsvetkov - is not a name which has any meaning, but appeared in his family five generations back on his father's father's side when magic first appeared on that side of the tree when the family moved from Bulgaria to Siberia.

WHY:
Asparagus' name is not something he really enjoys thinking about because of what happened in his life, his name Aspargus other than being a ridiculous name for a child is the name which his mother favoured, his parents hadn't thought of a name for Asparagus when he was born, they hadn't wanted to impose gender on their child but couldn't settle on a gender neutral name, and so when Asparagus was born, Asparagus was the pet name his parents called him, their little Asparagus, and eventually this name stuck, and Asparagus began responding to the name more so than any other name they tried to give him so, he became Asparagus, which in their mind was a gender neutral name which he had himself picked. Asparagus liked his name quite a lot while still in the community, it was not uncommon for names within the community to be pretty odd, and really his was no more odd than anyone else's so he used to really like it, however after being cast out and disowned Asparagus grew to really despise his name and everything that it meant, and so he shortened it to Aspara and will never introduce himself as Asparagus to anyone, he won't even admit to that being his name half the time. His middle name was a later addition when Asparagus was about four years old and his father decided that he wanted to pass his own name onto Asparagus, and so he was given the middle name. Much like his first name, he used to quite like it, but he also grew to despise it, but he just doesn't ever mention it in normal conversation, if asked about a middle name he won't mention it, rather opting to say that he doesn't have one. His surname as Tsvetkov is a name carried in his family for generations on his father's side and is the only part of his name that he doesn't despise, despite the fact that he is no longer attached to his family, Aspara likes the sound of his last name, it fits his nickname far more than his actual name. Aspara holds no familial importance to the name but he'll always keep it, even if just to spite the family which cast him out.

NICKNAMES:
Aspara is the nickname he was given in his own community, and despite how much he used to dislike it when he left the community Aspara has since really come to love it and will go by Aspara far more than anything else, on any official document he'll write Aspara rather than Asparagus he doesn't enjoy the questions about his full name so he'll rather just call himself Aspara and have everyone call him that. The other nickname he considered which would've likely made more sense is Gus, but he didn't like that name at all, and it wasn't a name that anyone ever called him and it felt far more abnormal to him than the name Aspara which he then came to become. Though Aspara has once or twice introduced himself as Gus to see if it would stick, he just much prefers Aspara and he much prefers that than anything else. Aspara is not adverse to more nicknames given to him by others, he quite enjoys it and it puts further separation between himself and his old life.

AGE:
Twenty-five, Aspara was raised in a community where birthdays were never a big deal, his parents would often present him with a card for important birthdays, but he never received any gifts and he didn't ever really celebrate it, it was just another day to him and he didn't need to think about it happening, even now having left the community, Aspara places no importance in his own birthday and has absolutely no attachment to it. He'll even forget that his own birthday has past until someone will remind him, to Aspara a birthday is no different from any other day and he's not about to ever change that no matter how separate he is to his old community.

D.O.B.:
May 22nd 2015, Aspara was born in the early hours of the morning, he was the third child to his parents and the third to be born within the community, his parents joined the community when they were in their late twenties when his mother was pregnant with their first child and despite some fears, Aspara's parents trusted the community. Aspara was born in the nearby river after it appeared he was arriving a lot slower than his siblings. Aspara was a very small baby when he was born and required a lot of care in the early days following his birth.

PROFESSION:
Aspara works for an activist group, he is one of the few people employed by them, he began as just a member when he was first looking for a political outlet after being cast out of the community, and after much searching and attending various meeting he settled on the group. He started working for them shortly after his twenty-third birthday and he specialises in organising meetings, protests, petitions, the group is largely filled with muggles, with a couple of wizards within the groups, the wizards of the group organise separate meetings, which Aspara attends but is not in charge of. Aspara doesn't have a set amount of hours that he works in a week, but he's always available at short notice to organise it. He takes one holiday a year, and only really takes days off if he's sick. He'll work all hours and finds the work exceedingly rewarding even if he could work for a solid three weeks without so much as an evening to himself. The group that he works for is an Eco-socialist group based in New Zealand, he organises for most of the north Island, with two other people also doing the job with him. He loves his work, it's tiring, and never ending and he can sometimes feeling he's being drowned in all the work he has to complete but he loves his work and would rather do that than any other job, he thinks that most jobs are just a waste of his time, he could never deal with being stuck behind a desk in an office building. He likes being in amongst the people and constantly organising. Aspara does not earn much money, he earns enough to get by but depending on other expenses in the month he can struggle.

FATHER:
Aspara's father was a man originally from Auckland New Zealand, who was orphaned at the age of 14 when both of his parents died, they had travelled from New Zealand long before his father was born from Russia, his father is an only child to his parents. Born Charles Tsvetkov, and attended Durmstrang Academy of magic, he then went on to attend university where he first joined an environmentalist group and eventually met his wife at a meeting for an anarchist meeting he had been interested in and they got married three months later, after their marriage, Charles who'd been studying towards a PHD left his position and with his wife went to live in the community in New Zealand they had heard about. He doesn't regret his decision to join the community and works in the community as one of the primary philosophers who in a large part try to attribute problems people have back to the theory which they all learn. He is very well read, and has a lot of interest in reading the books he gets presented with. He has six children, three of which with one woman and two with another. Aspara's the only one of his father's children to have ever left the community and it was after Aspara had confided in his father about his concerns about the community that he'd been brought in front of everyone to discuss them, which had lead eventually to Aspara's expulsion from the community. Aspara had always believed he and his father to be pretty close, they'd often agreed on many point of the literature but he hasn't spoken to his father since he was nineteen, when the troubles he suffered in the community first began. He doesn't think less of his father, he knows that he was only doing what he was supposed to, but Aspara can't help but resent him for eventually forcing Aspara's hand and then expelling him from the community.

MOTHER:
Asparagus' mother was born in Northern Australia to a rather large family with three sisters and four brothers, she was a mixed blood witch and was largely educated at home, until she decided to follow a slightly more muggle path and went to university in Canberra which lead to her doing an exchange trip to a university in Europe where she met Aspara's father. Aspara's mother fell held over heels for him when they met, she was already well versed in the community in New Zealand having heard about it through the magical grapevine. She eventually suggested while pregnant with her first child that they should go live within the community and was very happy when he agreed. His mother worked largely with the young children in the community as one of the primary teachers of the community, she had three children with her husband and one more with a different man of the community. Aspara's mother was very upset at Aspara's actions and departure from the community, she doesn't think that any of her children would ever leave the community, but she didn't once suggest any solution so that Aspara could stay, she tried to suade him to change his view. Aspara and his mother were pretty close growing up, but the last he spoke to her was before he left the community when she wished him luck on the outside world. Aspara's mother died shortly after Aspara turned twenty-five, but Aspara hasn't been in contact with anyone from the community since his departure and so has no idea about his mother's death. He would feel pretty sad about it, but following him leaving he pretty much knew that these things would happen, and would never hold it over anyone for not telling him. He loved his mother, and will always love his mother.

SIBLING(S):
Aspara has three full siblings, and three half siblings.
He has four brothers and two sisters; One of his older full siblings is a boy and the other one is a girl, he has one younger full brother and of his half siblings the ones born from his father are all boys and from his mother a girl. Aspara used to the be very close to his full siblings, even living with them for about 8 or so years. They were all very close, up until Aspara went through his trouble with the community at which point like the rest of the community they turned their backs on him.

Lemon Huntson, half sibling, daughter of his mother, born 4th October 2022, unmarried, currently a primary architect in the community, no children.
Tula Tsvetkov, half sibling, son of his father, born 26th January 2028, unmarried, still in education.

OTHER:
Aspara doesn't know any of his extended family so he would never be able to list who they were, he doesn't even know of the children of his siblings, since he left the community when he was twenty years old, and he doesn't really care about them either, he would never hold it over his siblings's children's heads about what happened but he doesn't want to ever get to know them, he holds a lot of resentment towards his family because of how they treated him, and how they treated him when he was having trouble with the community.

PET(S):
Aspara has no pets, unlike most in his community he understands the appeal of pets and does often think of getting on but he has very little interest in pets and considering how little money he makes Aspara can not afford to look after himself and a pet, and while he would enjoy the company of it, he knows that he has to focus on feeding himself first before he can even think about trying to feed anything else and more to that before he can think about even getting a pet he would need to cut down the amount of hours that he works, given that Aspara can work all hours and is rarely with a moment to himself looking after a pet would be an incredibly hard thing for him to balance with the rest of his life. It is just not something he thinks would benefit him in any manner and though he can admit to company being a pretty good thing he would not get a pet pretty much ever.

BLOOD STATUS:
Mixed Blood

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS:
Aspara might be born of magic parents and of a pretty clean magical line that any pureblood he got with would likely end with a pureblood child, he puts absolutely no importance in his blood or how pure any blood is, given that it is just a form of hierarchy made by those at the top of wizarding society to create conflict, he also thinks that it's silly because it can affect friends and partners who can not be because of their blood. This to him is as absurd as any other method of division. He doesn't put any importance in blood, he doesn't think that blood in any sense is important. He would never however think less of anyone who did put any importance in blood because he understands in how he was raised the importance the family puts on any one given line of thinking, on following one specific path.

HOMETOWN:
Aspara was born and raised in a community on the south of the South Island of New Zealand. He's not entirely sure where it is on a map but would never want to return to it anyway. It was a self sufficient collective of people working together and sharing the wealth and knowledge amongst each other, they were anbioregionalist-anarchist community who valued the principles of environment and anarchism. They lived off the earth and never took more than was deemed necessary for them to have, they attempt to live in complete harmony with the plants and animals and very rarely trading with the outside world. Aspara thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that living in such a community proposed to him, he enjoyed living off the land and the great outdoors, he loved the community feel of it and how everyone shared everything even if these aspects did prove some difficulty when he then eventually had to leave. Aspara misses his home greatly, though he doesn't miss his family he misses others and he misses how they lived. He doesn't think it's the right way to create change but he can admit to enjoying how life was. The community itself is spread over a large enough area so that there is enough space for everyone, but to anyone whose lives in a city or town, it would appear to be very small. The place itself is not particularly close to any town or city, it is closest to Te Anau, and close to Irene Mountain, but closest to the area called Doubtful sound.

CURRENT RESIDENCE:
Aspara currently lives on the west side of Auckland city, in amongst where a lot of the students live, it's a small second floor apartment, in a small slightly run down apartment block, his bedroom has the only bathroom attached to it, and the kitchen living area is all one room. While the place is small and not exactly the best place to live it is all that Aspara can afford and he has lived in it since he turned 21 and was able to afford his own apartment, it's a pretty bare thing he doesn't have any pictures from his life prior to when he was cast out of the community. It has very few personal items but has piles of worn second hand books all about the place. He is very friendly with his neighbours but he doesn't enjoy this life as much as he enjoyed living in the community which he was a part of. He doesn't have a garden which is likely in if the few things he would really like from the next place which he owns.

THE PLACE TO LIVE:
Given that Aspara loved the outdoor aspect of his community he would very much like to live like that again, he very much wishes that he could return and just spend a little time in the community, despite how satisfied he is with his life currently there is no doubt that he was most at peace while in the community that while he enjoys working a lot he would rather go not live under the constant pressure of his work. Other than that, Aspara really loves going to Egypt, because he passed the apparition exam within his community he can move around with ease and with what money he manages to save he will most often go to Egypt, it's a place of importance that he's read a lot about both historically and politically, but he also thinks it's the furthest thing from what his life used to be like and so he's always happy to experience that. He loves the dry sandy texture of the place, and enjoys the warmth of the sun. Those are two places where he would most want to live.

PREVIOUS HOMES:
FIRST HOME: His first home would be the house he shared with his family within the community, the houses are a set of wood structures held together by rope and magic, kept warm by magic, when he turned thirteen because his family was quite large he lived mostly with his siblings his older siblings in one of the small houses provided which he was perfectly happy with. He never needed much space and the close knit nature of it suited him fine.
SECOND HOME: Following being cast out of the community a friend's uncle who didn't live in the community who was close with his friend invited Aspara to stay with him, and so that was where he stayed, sleeping on the man's floor in the spare unfurnished room for about six months when he was twenty years old. However Aspara was on his own for about a week in the time between leaving the community and moving into the friend's uncle's spare room. He didn't particularly like the house, it was large, spacious but lack everything he had known from his previous life, but Aspara knew he didn't have many choices when it came to places to live and did as much as he could to help out around the house. He began working at a local magical pub most evenings while studying for his exams during the day, eventually moving into his bosses spare room after sixth months of living with his friend's uncle.
THIRD HOME: After feeling like he'd long outstayed his welcome and the fact that his friend's uncle was moving to the South Island, Aspara had to look for a new place but was able to get help from his boss who allowed him to rent a room in exchange for working full time in the pub, and that was what Aspara did, he was able to get his OWLs and NEWTs and save up enough money to then get his own flat. The time he spent in this spare room was very different, his old boss had been a very giving man with a large family and it had been a great place for Aspara to live as it had the community feel that he felt like he was missing from his life. When he finally had enough money to move out Aspara was pretty upset about it, and he keeps in contact with the family.
FOURTH HOME: This is the apartment that Aspara has been living in when he turned 21, it was his first own apartment and it was a little far from the pub, but given that he was magic and it was in the magical area he had no problems getting between the two sites. The apartment itself is small, but Aspara is very proud of it, he loves his little apartment he knows it isn't much and that he's not exactly the best at keeping it tidy but he loves it. He knows he could move in with someone but the apartment has always held a lot of importance and he loves it.

I LOOK UP TO:
It would've once been his father, but after everything that happened, Aspara doesn't really look up to anyone any more, his ideals of people stay strong, but he doesn't look up to anyone in particularly because he assumed that they'll just let you down. He doesn't want to elevate people to only be let down when they turn out different or let him down, he never wants to have to explain why he once looked up to someone who turned out to not be quite what they seemed. He would've looked up to his father so easily, he had wanted to be as knowledgable as him, as respected as good as him, but everything changed when his father turned against him, and it wasn't even that his father was doing his job, had it just been that Aspara might find himself able to forgive him, but he'd opted for the harshest possible punishment and never once relented or just spoke to Aspara about it. Ever since that time Aspara stopped looking up to his father.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS:
Atheist
Although most people think it's a given that Aspara would be an atheist when he left the community he definitely toyed with the idea of a higher power, he didn't know why it had happened and he didn't know what to do, where to go or anything, he was at such a loss that he had thought of turning to religion of trying to believe in something, but it was during this time that he realised he didn't believe in it, and in fact he didn't believe in it at all and if he had followed that kind of path he would never have actually believed in it, he had just needed something in that moment. But, Aspara is not religious, he's read a few of the religious books from various religions but he doesn't believe in it. He feels that allowing people to believe in it would be the best, and doesn't believe in stripping any place of religion would just be wrong. He doesn't believe in it, but Aspara would never stop any one else from believing in it.

POLITICAL ALIGNMENT:
Eco-Socialist
Aspara used to identify as an eco-anarchist, but it was around the time when he first starting questioning the community that he realised he didn't quite believe in anarchism and much preferred the writings on Socialism, though a lot of the writing does overlap and that both schools of thought are incredibly similar he prefers eco-socialism, he believes in the equal distribution of wealth, giving to those who need it most and ensure everyone has an equal standard of life, he believes in the means of production being in the hands of the many instead of the few. He believes in disarmament and getting rid of nuclear powers. He believes in a central democratic system that ensures that everything is centrally decided. Aspara believes in protecting the environment and in fair practices. He doesn't believe in over production and believes that the only way to create a fair society is by the destruction of capitalism. He also doesn't think that living within a closed off community is the way to achieve anything.

SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
Aspara would identify as gay, although in his life he has been with both men and women he would identify as gay and much rathers being with men than with women. The only times he goes with women is in low points in his mood when he would very much enjoy the idea of a biological family, but aside from those very rare occasions Aspara would identify as gay and doesn't think there is any wiggle room on that idea. He was raised to always be respectful of people and their orientations and so he very much is. He will fight anyone who says that what does is wrong or who is homophobic in any way, no matter the time of day.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
While is technically unattached officially, he has been seeing Wren Louise, they met while he was on Holiday in Egypt. He hadn't expected to meet anyone but they hit it off, and Aspara definitely likes him, perhaps more than he'd admit to him, he doesn't ask too many questions or push too much which Aspara is grateful for. Aspara also likes that he doesn't mind when he appears, even given the changing nature of their respective lives he doesn't mind when Aspara turns up unannounced, and is just able to spend time with him. It's one of the first real relationships that Aspara has been in since leaving his community.

CRUSHES PAST AND PRESENT:
The only person that Aspara can say he ever crushed on was his sister's long time boyfriend who was one of the most beautiful boys in the community and Aspara thought the world of her when he was about twelve, however his crush never developed and he never really talked about it with anyone because it never really mattered since he knew it was completely unattainable. Aside from that Aspara has always largely been too focused on his work to crush on anyone, if he likes someone he'll just ask them out.

FIRST KISS:
Given the nature of the community and sort of mixed ages of children the kids largely end up liking the same people, but for Aspara it was a little more difficult because he was gay, and knew he was from a fairly young age. His first ever kiss was with a girl when he was first perhaps doubting who he was and everything to do with that. It was a girl who was two years older than him, after class when they were just thirteen years old, his first kiss with a boy was not too long after he turned fourteen and was deciding what work he might end up in, and the only other boy his age, they kissed and ended up getting together shortly after. Aspara doesn't regret his first ever kiss being with a girl, since he places very little importance in this idea of first kisses but if he had to pick a kiss he preferred it would be with the boy over the girl. He's just always preferred that kiss than the other.

FIRST FRENCH KISS:
This was shortly after he and the boy with whom he shared his first kiss was. Since a few days later they decided to become a couple they shared a first French kiss. Aspara has never regretted this kiss, even if they broke up quite abruptly just before Aspara began having problems with the community and doesn't mind how it ended now. He has always appreciated the time they spent together and loved everything about them. The first kiss itself was not a particularly good kiss, since neither of them really knew what they were doing. He wouldn't change it for the world really.

PAST RELATIONSHIPS:
This first relationship with the other boy in the community is perhaps the only relationship of note most other following never lasted more than a couple of weeks a month at best. He found it difficult to commit to anyone given the somewhat unstable nature of his life, how busy he was and also how unwilling he was to spend time with others and be person with them. Aspara's only relationship of note was with the boy from his community, it was his first everything, the first man he ever loved and for a long period of time he thought they'd always be together. But the relationship ended, rather abruptly at Aspara's hand when as he was thinking about life in the community and questioning their teachings he had a feeling things might not end well and decided to break it off with him, despite the far that he very much loved him. Despite how it ended and the fact that Aspara was never really able to make things right he doesn't regret any part of the relationship. He thinks he could've handled it better but overall he definitely thought he did his best.

FLINGS:
Ever since leaving the community, Aspara has engaged in a number of flings. He has never tried to really find anything more, any sort of relationship he has engaged with had always been casual and ended mutually. He doesn't hold any importance in sex and will have it whenever he can find someone who also wants it. He is a very busy person so one night stands with people and brief flings were really the only thing he could do before he sort of was with Wren. Aspara is incredibly loyal, when he's sort of with someone he'll always be true to them.

THE FIRST TIME:
Since he was with the same guy in his community from when he was about fourteen till he was about nineteen years old, they were each other's first time, since Aspara was older they waited until the were both of age. Aspara had never seen the importance of a first time and didn't see it after, in his mind it's just something two people do, and because it is completely natural he places no importance on a first time of any kind. He thought his first time was pretty good and though they were pretty terrible he knows he learned a lot from it, and does not in the slightest regret it. He doesn't think he ever could regret it, given that they were together so long and had waited quite a bit before doing it the first time.

<SIZE size="50">HAIR COLOUR:
Aspara has light brown hair, which has a slightly golden hint to it when he stands in the sun, his hair used to be a lot dark just due to the amount of time he would spend outside and in the sun but it has lightened significantly since leaving the community, though he still does spend a lot of his time outside it is not as much as has spent previously, and has affected his hair. While living in the community he opted to have longer hair, but got it cut has since stuck to a much shorter length since, he prefers when his hair is shorter, it's just out the way and he looks almost entirely different from the time spent in his community. His hair is not perhaps the best feature he has, but he likes his hair's ability to make him look different and change how he sees himself, whenever it gets too long he is just reminded of who he was and it's then that he gets it cut.


HAIR HAS BEEN DYE
Aspara has often chosen to dye his hair, he enjoys the expression of dying his hair but he doesn't often do it, he finds that it can help a mood or a period of confusion, he thinks it's a good tool for that but doesn't particularly enjoy his hair being multiple colours for longer than he really wants to, as soon as the colour fades a little Aspara will change it back using the magic, he has no interest in keeping something beyond the time that he really needs it, like his hair. He likes his hair, he likes being able to style it and so on but he is not attached to it in the way that he'll freak out if it isn't sitting perfectly or take overly good care of it. He definitely does enjoy colouring it every so often and would never judge others for choosing to do that more frequently he believes in self expression through hair and clothes and firmly believes that if it's not his hair his opinion on the matter doesn't matter.

EYE COLOUR:
Aspara has light brown/dark green eyes, they are a mixture of the two colours inherited from his father, and the only one to have more than just dark green eyes. Aspara in the immediateness of having left the community did have a very deep desire to change his eye colour but it was just a product of his anger towards his father which did mostly fade in that way. Most of the time from a distance Aspara looks as though he's got brown eyes and itNw really only after a person looks more closely that you can see he has slightly different coloured eyes from just brown. Aspara does not require glasses and is pretty pleased with this. He does like his eyes quite a lot and finds it easy to enjoy their characteristic now more than before when his eyes to him were a direct link to his father and everything he'd left behind.

BIRTHMARKS/SCARS:
Aspara has a few birthmarks scattered on his chest they are fairly small in size but easily noticeable when he's not wearing a t-shirt. He barely notices the birthmarks any more and barely bats an eyelid at them. As far scars, Aspara has a number of those, a few on his fingers from cigarettes when he hasn't put them out properly and the ash has gotten in his hand. He also a few scars from cuts he got on his hands while helping build homes in his community, he was never very good at it and would often get little injuries from it, most of which scarred, aside from that and most being pretty small in size apart from one on his right pinky finger which circles around his finger, but Aspara largely forgets about this, and doesn't even acknowledge it unless someone else brings it up. This isn't because he's ashamed of it but mostly because he just doesn't even think about it, his life is usually so busy he doesn't even think about the scars.

BODY TYPE:
Aspara has a fairly large build, he's always been tall, standing at about six ft two, pushing to six ft three, but he used to be pretty thin, within his old community there were plenty of things for him to do and he stayed very active but he didn't have the best diet, he ate very healthy but was often distracted, since leaving his community, he's put on a lot of weight, getting himself to what would be considered a much more normal size for his larger height, rather than being relatively under weight. His weight took a long while to achieve this given that he's never had too much money which would've made this process quicker, his work keeps him very active but he tries to go for a run every week, but in part he doesn't need to, he enjoys it.

After spending time in his friend's uncles' house and was setting himself up, Aspara decided to get a health check, not that he didn't think he was healthy but he didn't have the slightest medical record and so he decided it would be a good idea to get himself checked over completely by a healer and in doing so was able to find out his blood type, though he should've known it in his community, and his parents definitely knew it, but he had just opted to not know it, believing he would always live in the community and would never need to independently know it's and so he the in his own health check learned it and committed it to memory. Aspara has been slowly learning various things about his life and health, and he didn't understand why knowing the blood type was necessary, but he can understand the importance especially considering that he runs in mostly muggle circles where they don't have the same amount of abilities in replenishing blood. He doesn't donate blood and is pretty sure that he wouldn't be allowed to.

WHICH HAND?:
Aspara is right handed.
Aspara's natural writing hand has always been his right hand, he's never had the interest to write with his left hand, even if he's never really tried it, Aspara didn't do too much writing while in his community, they did a lot more reading and talking than writing. His writing is not very neat at all, he's always had to write in situations of uneven surfaces which attributes to the fact he has very poor hand writing, and is usually too lazy to write properly.

SIGNATURE:

VOICE:
Aspara was raised by a family half from New Zealand and half from Australia, but given the nature of the community, he has a mostly dulled New Zealand accent, which has become stronger the more he's stayed within Auckland New Zealand, he's picked up bits and pieces of an accent from that, where he didn't really have one before, Aspara's accent fades sometimes if he's with people who aren't from New Zealand, without even thinking this will just happen to Aspara's accent and he thinks that it's pretty funny because those around him notice it but he only notices it because others point it out to him. Before leaving the community his accent might've been quite difficult to place, but not any more, leaving behind the community has meant leaving some of the characteristics of himself that were exclusive to the community.

I CAN SPEAK:
Despite having Russian origins, the only language that Aspara can speak fluently is English, he's never learned any other languages to the same level as that, and it was because that was all that he needed, it was never like he was supposed to interact that often with outside people that this would be useful to him, only some in his community ever learn languages and he was perfectly content with this. Having since left the community, Aspara has been expanding his field of knowledge and because of this has picked up a Arabic, he loves going to Egypt and the first time he went he was so ill equipped for speaking with others that he decided he need to be able to learn the language, and has been taking an extra class or two every so often for the last two years, he's at a basic level of understanding and writing, but he still struggles a lot with it, but he's dedicated to learning more and more of it, finding it useful when he's over in Egypt and enjoying the challenge of learning a new language. He considered many languages before he settled on Arabic, but out of all the languages he could've learned that was the only one that interested him, the only one that took his fancy.

I AM ALLERGIC TO:
Aspara never had this issue while in his community but Aspara has a mild allergy to a few of the chemicals they put into perfumes and colognes, he choses to use mostly natural products that are suitable for vegetarians or preferably vegans, but gets a pretty nasty rash from certain perfumes and colognes which means he mostly avoids these products in general, he can stand next to someone wearing some it's more when it makes contact with his skin, he discovered this when he first left the community and the man he moved in instructed him to buy various items including a cologne which then resulted in Aspara getting a pretty horrible rash on his skin and ended with a trip to the emergency room of the magical hospital, because Aspara had no idea what was happening and freaked out about it. Aside from that, he has no other known allergies, but he's very careful with what he eats and wears just to avoid this happening again. He doesn't like being allergic to them, since often someone can just spray something like that close to him without realising and he'll suffer a reaction.

PERSONAL STYLE:
Aspara's style is a very simple style, he's never owned many clothes, and most, if not all his clothes are second hand which he buys from charity shops, the only thing he'll buy properly are new shoes and jackets that he needs to last a while, most of the time he'll wear the same things over and over, he cleans his clothes with magic, he doesn't own very much so he'll wear the same things. Aspara has never minded spending money on clothes, he just minds when it costs too much and he doesn't like that technically style is always changing, he wears simple non-flashy clothing that others have discarded. He doesn't care about how he looks as long as he's clean, it's a habit he's always carried, within his community he didn't care so he has never cared. He likes to have a little stubble on his face, but doesn't like growing out a full beard, or just being smooth, he likes that in between stage. Aspara doesn't have many desires to improve his style or clothes, he's saving up money to buy a proper suit that he would be able to use at all occasions but he hasn't yet found one he likes that he can afford. Aspara doesn't have aspirations to be the best dressed, he just wants to be able to dress nice at least once in a while.

CHARACTER LIKES:
Aspara likes a lot of things, he loves his work, Aspara has always enjoyed working, he liked organising things he like pulling things together, he enjoys the challenges he faces of setting something up with little to no time to do it. He likes coordinating with others and pushing things to be bigger and bigger, he doesn't always enjoy the near constant work and the work itself can occasionally be very physically draining but he does love it, and he likes being able to help people, he likes trying to strive for change, and bring a better world. He might have disagreed with his community on certain aspects and it might've completely changed his life, it might've completely destroyed everything he had but Aspara still whole heartedly believes in what he does and believes in striving towards a better more equal world, he doesn't think a small few should own all the wealth and he believes that wizards and witches need to work alongside one another to save the world they share. He loves the challenges of every day life, he loves life really, he loves walking up in the morning and just being able to look out the window at a new day, he likes forests and the outdoors and being around animals. He likes being around like minded people and he likes being around those he can probably sway to his way of thinking. He likes being faced with new ideas, and he loves reading ideas, whether they be new or old, he just loves reading different ideas, he's well versed in his own sphere of knowledge but also enjoys expanding it greatly.

CHARACTER DISLIKES:
Aspara primarily dislikes those who are actively violent against others, he does not enjoy violence at all, when he feels it's unjust. When someone hits someone else because of their skin, gender or sexual orientation he gets really angry, he'll try and be as peaceful and non-violent as he can, but when something annoys him, or he sees something that's wrong he's not afraid to say something or do something, he'll jump into situations he has no right being in. One of the primary reasons he fell out of favour in his community and eventually left was because he didn't entirely believe in methods of non-violence, he knew they were a peaceful non-violent anarchist organisation, but he believes that sometimes you need break a couple of noses to get what you want. He doesn't like when people make fun of where he grew up, he doesn't like when people make fun of him because of the clothes he wears or the way he acts, or because of the fact he's gay. He just has no time in his life for this kind of people, but he really hates it, Aspara has worked so hard for all he has in his life currently, and for people who do that just give him doubt about his entire life and he can't ever go home so it's all he has. Aspara does like processed foods, he doesn't like spending too much time indoors and he does like when the heating in his apartment doesn't work, he doesn't like when he has a day off but has no one to talk to. He hates not living with others.

GOALS:
Aspara's biggest goal in life is to bring about a true socialist government and he's hopeful that he'll be able to achieve it within his life but Aspara would very easily fight for it, he's fighting for it, and he wants to work towards it. Aspara doesn't like the idea of failing, but he knows that achieving that is going to be especially hard, it's a struggle and he wants to achieve that with his life. More to just prove to his community that he was right. Aspara would also very much want a family at some point in his life, he misses the community atmosphere and he feels like he could have that in a family, he wants to pass on his knowledge to others and to share his life with a man he loves and children he helped bring into this world or just adopted, Aspara wants to ensure that children never feel rejection like he did from their family, the feeling of being cast out, then Aspara would do that, so he really wants a large family, but he knows this goal is going to be a bit more difficult to achieve because of how much he works.

BOGGART:
Despite the fact that his biggest fear has already happened, he still fears it happening again, being cast out of the community was one of the worst experiences of his life and it was like being ripped from his home even though he can admit to being happier, healthier and just better off now than he was then. Aspara would always see this happening again, like he'd manage to reconcile with his family but they would turn on him again, they would turn against him once more and he'd have to start from nothing again. He doesn't want that to happen since for him it was difficult enough the first time around. Aspara knows that in all the things he does this is sort of a nothing fear, but the fear of being rejected by family is his biggest fear and since he doesn't have any new family he would see his biological family casting him out again.

PATRONUS:
Aspara's patronus would be a Quokka, he learned the spell within his community, and wasn't able to produce it during his time in the community, he has since had to cast it a couple of time, and each time he has managed to cast the same of a Quokka which he finds very comforting. He doesn't face many dementors in his work, but he thinks it's important for him to be able to cast it, just on the off chance that he is faced with such things at any wizarding protest.

PATRONUS MEMORY:
Despite how many happy memories Aspara has of his community he would not used any of those to conjure the patronus, he knows those memories are too tainted to be usable, or strong enough for a patronus memory because of how bittersweet they are. Aspara would likely use the memory of when he got his first real apartment not just some spare room in someone else's house, his own proper apartment, he couldn't believe that he'd somehow managed to get that, and he could remember the joy of the key fitting in the lock for the first time and letting himself into the apartment that was his, he only had one box of his belongings which took next to no time to put into the apartment, he remembers how cold the place was but the pride he felt at it being his, he felt so happy with this little place that was his, and the ability to just live in this place, he loves his apartment, and the joy he felt in first moving in would trump all his other memories so far, just the sheer elation that he managed to get somewhere with himself and hadn't had to go crawling back to his community because he simply hadn't managed to survive was one of the best feelings to him. He knows he'll probably eventually move out of the apartment, but he loves the apartment more than anything, it'll always be important to him.

DEMENTOR:
Aspara would have difficult picking a worst memory, but it would likely be the day he was asked to leave, Aspara knew it was coming, he could feel it, he could see some of the looks people in the community were giving him when the weekly community wide meeting was held, and when he realised how many people were in attendance, the dread just built in his chest and he knew it was happening, but Aspara hadn't wanted that to happen, he hadn't wanted it to come to this, but when he'd decided to dig his heels in and really try to fight his corner and beliefs he knew that it would be something that would happen, but a part of Aspara had always thought that he would be allowed to take a leave of absence like others had once, with the option of returning, but when his father brought the motion forward, and proposed the expulsion of Aspara from the community permanently Aspara's world collapsed around him, for his different and vocal views against the community his father had reasoned that the only course of action to ensure the continued prosperity of the community that Aspara would have to leave or stop with his views. He had to pick between his own beliefs or the community's beliefs, which given he'd been raised to trust wholeheartedly in his own beliefs had given Aspara the impossible choice. He'd tried to beg his mother to try to talk some sense into his father to give him some other choice, but she'd told him in front of everyone else that he had to make a decision, and Aspara who'd only been twenty at the time was forced into a corner and he felt like he only had one option, he couldn't stop his beliefs and he wasn't wanted in the community any more so he chose to leave. It was the worst moment of Aspara's life, the feeling of being completely excluded of having to leave within a twenty four hour period with no where to go and absolutely nothing, not even the wand he'd been using since he'd first showed signs of magic. Aspara's entire life was ripped out from under him, and it's easily the worst he's ever felt.

VERITISERUM:
Aspara's secret is that he doesn't miss his family at all, he says that he misses them, and he missed the community aspect of his old life, but his family he doesn't care about at all. When he was thrown out of the community and not one of them stood up for him, Aspara pretty much decided that that was him done with them, and other than his mother who he misses a little, he doesn't care about his family, any part of it. He doesn't think about them, he doesn't think about where they are, what they are doing, he doesn't care at all about them. He figures that they probably don't care at all about him, so he shouldn't have to care about them, and he barely spares a thought to them, and though he'll say he missed them to people who ask, the truth is that Aspara really doesn't, and doesn't think he ever will, there's no chance of him ever going back to the community and so he does not care about them.

MIRROR OF ERISE
It would be difficult to pinpoint what Aspara would see, he'd likely see himself in the wild, the great outdoors where he would be able to just experience things but he would also see his family, a new family that he helped build of people he would never desert or leave behind. His mirror would likely unable to show but would include a socialist state, them living within one having achieved the revolution and introduced their fair and equal state. Aspara might see his old family asking for forgiveness for what they did, but they wouldn't be anything else to him, they might not even be in what he sees in the mirror. He would see himself with someone but he has no idea who this person is, his life would be filled with people, laughter and love.

AMORENTIA:
Aspara would firstly smell his first apartment that distinct smell of something he considers to be home, he would likely smell the first bar he worked in because of the opportunity it gave him and allowed him, to relax a little in his new life. Aspara would smell the sweet smell of maple syrup, despite how sugary it is, Aspara discovered a real taste for it, and he would definitely smell it, it's his guilty pleasure, he always has jars of it in his cupboards far more than any one person would actually need. He would smell old books and old clothes, and the smell of rain in a forest. Aspara would smell fresh marker and the smell of freshly printed flyers. His array of smells might vary and depend on his mood, but those would be the core smells.

BASIC PERSONALITY:
Aspara is a kind hearted man, he's over come a lot of trouble in his life, a lot of uncertainy and really just takes things in his stride, he's always been very good at planning things, always been very good at figuring out problems and this has helped him a lot, he takes each problem as they come and thinks about them before rushing in. He's a natural problem solver, he's also incredibly passionate, he will rarely falter in his beliefs, although always open for discussion, Aspara is not the kind of person to back down from a fight, he'll deep his heels in and fight relentless for what he believes when people push him into a corner he'll fight for what he believes. Aspara works incredibly hard, he'll not often be away from his work, and he gets a huge amount of satisfaction from working hard and achieving all that he can. Aspara is incredibly open as a person, he won't often talk about his past but he would never actively hide it from people. He loves freely and deeply, Aspara loves loving other and being loved. He'll stand up for people he's barely met if they are being targeted and he'll step into any argument or fight that he feels he has to. He's not he kind of person who'll take anything from anyone even if the comments aren't directed at him. Aspara is determined and he'll continue trying to move forward even when the odds are stacked against him. Aspara is constantly afraid of whomever he spend time with to cast him out like his family did, he's terrified of having nothing again, and so he works hard to try to prevent this from happening. Knotted 14 1/2" Unyielding Beech Wand with Boomslang venom Core

WAND DESCRIPTION:
Length: A little on the longer side of things, wands of this length are slightly more uncommon and not easily forgotten by others.
Style: The knots of this wand's original wood remain clearly visible - earthy, this style of wand is perhaps most traditional and closest to nature.

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAN
This is the second wand which Aspara has ever owned, he owned a wand while living within the community but after he left the community and shed himself of that life Aspara decided that he would get a new wand and so after months of working finally was able to afford his first real wand. He loved his wand from the moment he was able to have it, it was one of the first possessions he'd ever truly owned and he felt like it was truly a moment of wonder, everything about it to him was the best thing about it, getting his own wand had been one of the great moments of his life and he doesn't know what he'd do without this wand now. It is an extension of himself, an extension of his hand, feeling as natural as another finger, or like holding a placard, it just feels natural, like it should be there.

SCHOOL:
Aspara never attended any form of formal education and eventually stopped attending classes and going to school when he was just under fourteen years old, he was particularly friendly with one of the organisers within the community and so began to work with this man during the time allocated to work within the community. Despite leaving school so young, Aspara continued to read and educate himself in his spare time. He never did any of his formal exams until after he left the community when he was 21 years old, Aspara hadn't wanted to do any formal exams even when he'd left the community, still agreeing that they were a little silly arbitrary way of figuring out how smart people are, but he knew it would be better for him to have them, so that he would always have other options and he wasn't too old to be able to do them. Aspara was very proud of himself when he did the exams, he did the OWLs and NEWTs eight weeks apart and was really pleased when he managed to do so well. He put a lot of work into it, and was very pleased with the results.

CURRENT YEAR:
Never attended any formal school, and has also since left the schooling given by his community.

POSITIONS ACHIEVE
There were no positions within his communities school for him to achieve because they thought of positions as a way of pitting students against one another. He would definitely agree with such a fact.

<SIZE size="50">FAVOURITE SUBJECT:
While at school within his community, Aspara loved history, he loved learning about different protests and the ins and outs of them, how they functioned, how they were built, there was nothing like that kind of organisation which Aspara just thoroughly enjoyed with the lesson. He found it interesting and challenging in the sort of real life scenarios that they did, but Aspara excelled at it, he loved it and it was why he followed that work when he eventually began working within the community. When he was he was studying for the OWLs, Aspara found astronomy to be the best, he got very easily distracted in just thinking of the stars and wishing he could sleep under them again. Aspara loved it and was so happy when he did well in those exams. To Aspara that was his best subject and since he would read that result first, he knew that if he did well in that he could just be happy.

LEAST FAVOURITE SUBJECT:
While in the community, Aspara really hated potions, he didn't like it at all, he didn't like the fact they weren't even able to practice normally, that they had to just do theory and that drove Aspara insane because he didn't get why they even had to bother learning what each thing did when he would never have to do it. Aspara eventually stopped paying attention in those lessons in his community, opting instead to just get something to eat or work on homework for another class. His dislike for potions continued when he was studying for the OWLs and NEWTs, it was more than he didn't want to continue the lesson that brought on such memories from his time in the old community, but he pushed through his hate and managed to reach a very respectable grade largely he'll say because of his former boss who spent a lot of time with him going over the different potions and helping him revise for it.

FAVOURITE THEORIST:
While in the community his favourite writer was Peter Singer, a modern writer on the issues of environment and some part in anarchism, but the older he got and the more he read, Aspara much preferred the writings of Marx, and Trotsky, he found their contributions far better and impactful and he'll admit to having read both thoroughly, muddling through Das Kapital and finds both to be endlessly interesting. Aspara knows that it's pretty typical of a socialist to have those two as favourite authors but he loves the writing of Marx, but largely prefers his daughter as a person, she was far more active and he prefers that when it comes to any revolution or any movement, because he feel that theory can only get a person so far, and he knows that action is far more important, so while he has a lot of favourite theorists he much prefers the people who act, who try to create the change they write about. Aspara has more political books in his apartment than anything else, he loves rereading his favourite theorist and discovering new books, Aspara always enjoyed reading in his community and he's carried this.

THOUGHTS ON SCHOOLING:
Aspara has long since left behind his schooling, and long since left his revision for exams, and though he can admit to at the time really enjoying his time in the community and the school there, he knows that this sort of thing, that kind of learning is just not that practical if they are more than willing to throw people out of the community. He was put at a great disadvantage without his OWLs and NEWTs, and it was only because he was able to realise this, and he was persuaded by those around him that it was important for him to do them. He doesn't often tell people he did his exams so late, he doesn't talk about his time in the community and doesn't mention his schooling, but even that, Aspara is such a thinker and while he knows his community education was wholly incomplete he doesn't think he would've done well in a classroom, a real classroom, so he can admit that perhaps it wasn't the worst thing in the world for him. If he'd stayed in the community there would've never been a problem, it was only because he was cast out that Aspara ever ran into issues with his education and at the time lack of grades.

BIOGRAPHY:
Asparagus Charles Tsvetkov was born in the early hours of the morning on May twenty-second in 2015, he was born a few days earlier than had been project but was born with no complications, he had a little tuff of hair on his head when he was born and bright wide blue eyes. He was the third child of his parents who lived in the eco-anarchist bioregion on the south Island of New Zealand. He was a pretty silent baby, and rarely cried, barely causing a side. He was looked after primarily by his mother but given the natural of his community he was looked after by everyone. His community raised children collective. He was not named when he was first born, and only received his name when he started speaking and had to say his own name to people, and since he only responded to Asparagus that became his name. Aspara had no idea about this being how he got his name, all of his siblings names were pre-decided named, Aspara that had been more of a surprise they hadn't decided anything at the point of his birth.

Aspara thrived in the community, by the time he was three years old, he would wonder around the community either alone or with his older siblings, he was a talkative child, he loved collecting flowers and giving them to others in the community, he loved everything and found everything fascinating, he was rarely seen without a smile, and he just seemed to eat up all the information that he could. He followed his siblings around religiously whenever he could and was just really enjoying being around them, he had even at three begun taking care of his younger brother, carrying him places and showing him the flowers. The children of Aspara's community always become self sufficient very early on in their lives, there are always people looking out for the children, but the are left to do what they want mostly, so Aspara was a very capable toddler. He was always vocal and always voiced his opinion if he thought others were wrong.

The children of the community start attending classes shortly after they turn three, and under the class conditions Aspara grew and grew, he clearly had a knack for problem solving, and it was clearly that he had a very high level of understanding of the literature that they both read and talked about during his school. He and his father were close, Aspara always took the time to sit and read with his father during the week, and found it interesting to listen to his father's points of view on things, but Aspara didn't just limit this to his father, he was a curious and inquisitive child who really loved asking questions and on the hours he didn't spend in school he could be found talking to any member of the community. When Aspara was seven his mother had another daughter with someone other than his father, and Aspara didn't entirely understand no matter how much his parents explained it, but he let it slide, since he loved his new sister. Even as Aspara got older the bond between him and his siblings was strong, they helped each other out in any given situation and were always keen to help each other learn. Aspara when he was ten was incredibly independent, he lived in a hut, he and his two older siblings had built together and largely his personality hadn't changed he was still very loving, and still always keen to share the love out amongst others. he was really not often without a smile.

As Aspara came into his teens he realised that he was gay, he'd always had inclines towards it, he'd felt it, but he hadn't ever thought about it seriously, he knew that no matter what he was it wouldn't matter because the community would respect him. He first came out to his siblings, then his parents and then his father made him tell the entire community at one of the weekly meetings, something Aspara hadn't been completely ready for but had taken in his stride. It was as his teen years began that Aspara began to do much deeper reading and start working with the other organisers in the community that he began to have doubts about the nature of the community, he liked living there, his entire life was there but he had little doubts about the true results of such a community and found himself disagreeing on a few points with anarchism. However, being young, he'd pushed it away and focused on learning, he got his first boyfriend and real relationship during this time, and his father had a child with a different woman, whom he was happy to welcome into his family. Aspara remained still very out-going and kind hearted, he always stressed flowers and being kind to one another.

Everything changed for Aspara when he was nineteen, the feelings of doubt and questioning in his mind had grown, and after his younger sibling had almost died due to an injury when no one had been paying attention to what the child was doing he began to really question the community. His fears of being excluded were what drove him to break up with his boyfriend, and when the feelings of doubt couldn't be silenced and he couldn't find the answers to them, Aspara turned to his father whom he had always trusted, being one of the core readers and theorists in the community, he spoke to his father about his concerns about his doubts in the community and even went so far as to tell him that he didn't think he believed in eco-anarchism any more, but he didn't once notice that his father said nothing, just told him to sleep on it, and nothing really happened for a couple of days until Aspara's father brother up what Aspara had said to the community as a whole and had outlined the issues with it, about how concerns and complaints about the community were unproductive and were not good things to have as part of a community and Aspara was forced to either follow their books and their beliefs fully or justified his position to the community. Aspara had been so surprised at the reaction of his father and forcing Aspara on the spot to back his position or fall in line that Aspara was unable to say anything from shock and was brought up in front of the community and his silence was taken as disagreement with the community. He was forced to argue his position and he had to vocalise to everyone things he didn't agree with about the community and why he thought he was right.

This occurred every week, at around the same time for the same length of time for close to 8 months, Aspara every time was forced back into his corner, no one in the community would really speak to him, his siblings no longer wanted to have anything to do with him and he was forced to fashion his own small shelter alone, his father refused to listen to him, and his mother refused to hear his pleas to make it stop because he just needed time to think about it, eventually after 7 months the issue of expulsion from the community came up, Aspara hadn't wanted to abandon his views especially after he'd been backed into it, his own stubbornness had meant he had just rooted himself and every complaint about the community was suddenly things he was saying, he was being ridiculed every week essentially as he stumbled to find the right literature to back up his point when he was one against many. Aspara hadn't known where it could've ended up but the worse it got the more he realised where it would. His father was the first to even suggest it, and Aspara had thought it wouldn't come to that, that he would be granted leave to go and then eventually he would return, or that he would stop doing this and instead he would be able to talk one on one with the theorist and teachers to be able to talk through the issues calmly, but they didn't, every time everyone got angrier and angrier.

Aspara after around 8 months of this and shortly after he turned twenty, Aspara was given a choice, since the issue with him had spurred other complaints and feelings of disillusionment, Aspara was told to either forsake his own current beliefs and follow more the beliefs of the community or that he was to leave, Aspara's father was the one who gave Aspara the choice and also ten minutes in which he was make the decision, Aspara hadn't wanted to leave, but he knew in his father's tone that his father wanted him to. Aspara knew that there was only one choice he couldn't forsake his beliefs, he couldn't just not think what he thought of the community, the problems for him wouldn't go away and given how he'd been treated for the last few months by his family he didn't entirely want to stay but he would've never left on his own accord, his entire life was there. However when given this choice he turned to his mother, pleaded with her to make his father change his mind, to fight for him, to just give him time to allow him the time to figure out life outside of the community, but she stayed silent and his father decided at that point to inform Aspara that if he chose to leave the community he would no longer be his son, and he'd be cast out of the family, disowned.

Aspara had no idea what to do, at twenty years old, he'd been outside of the community twice and always with countless others, he didn't want to have to leave but he knew he couldn't forsake his beliefs, he couldn't ignore his problems, and since according to Aspara's father, Aspara was taking too long with his decision his father made it for him, saying that the silence was enough. Aspara was given 24 hours to leave, he had to give back everything but the set of clothes he was wearing. Aspara stayed stood in the centre of the circle for a few hours just not believing what had happened, he couldn't even find it in himself to cry about it he was in such shock. It was only a friend of his who approached him and gave him a hug that brought Aspara somewhat back to reality, and Aspara was given from him the name and address of someone who could help him. Aspara thanked his friend and then returned to gather what few things he would be allowed to take, some documents for him to prove who he was, and a very small bit of money. Once he had everything, Aspara decided he would just leave, no sense lingering around any longer, he told his father that he was leaving, and it was at this point that Aspara handed back the wand, and after a small bitter goodbye to his family Aspara left the community.

It took Aspara four days to reach Auckland where he was then looking for the man who was supposed to house him, who was willing to help out, but Aspara had the address but no idea how Auckland was set up, and he was exhausted, the money had stretched enough to get him a little food, but he was still reeling from what happened, he felt like a ghost wandering around Auckland, since he had no idea where to go and was just so tired. Aspara stayed in a homeless shelter for fours days while he rested and eventually was able to find the place he wanted and Aspara moved into the man's spare room. His friend's uncle who houses him, was only going to be in New Zealand briefly, was brand new to the country and the room Aspara moved in didn't have anything in it aside from a mattress, but it was more than enough for Aspara. He spent two days getting himself ready, using the man's money to get himself some basic items to live that he hadn't ever needed before, even realising that his lack of grades would really impact his life. It wasn't until two months into having left the community and when he had finally managed to get a job that it really hit Aspara as to what happened. it was then he shortened his name from Asparagus to Aspara and drank himself into a stupor for three days straight, barely able to shed a single tear over what had happened but feeling an irretrievable loss within him.

The loss of the community was hugely impactful on Aspara, he was in a world with nothing but the sheer basics and he changed as a person, while still strong in his beliefs he knew in the beginning he had to be more practical, Aspara spent time working at the pub while working on his magical exams, which he decided that he needed to pass to be able to achieve in his life. Aspara also began reading extensively again as he collected books that he'd used to have access to, eventually he sat his OWLs and NEWTs and did pretty well in them too. He was still as loving and open with people, but he was a little more guarded, he always desired company and got a long well with others but was always a little more removed from conversation or occasions and outings. He was more cautious about his opinion though this wasn't saying much, when he wanted to voice his he would speak to his hearts content. He was still spending a lot of time learning about different aspects of life which he had never faced before, trying new foods and such, he spent the first few months of work, saving up and finally buying himself a brand new wand.

It was during the time that Aspara was studying for his OWLs and NEWTs that he moved out of his friend's uncles spare room and into his boss' spare room and with his family, Aspara's boss had managed to get Aspara's story out of him, since Aspara had barely mentioned his life prior to arriving in New Zealand, and during an after work drink Aspara had confessed to not knowing where he was going to stay now that the man he'd been staying with was leaving and his boss had managed in that to get the full story out of Aspara of what had happened to him and how he ended up working for him, and the man felt pretty sorry for Aspara and offered him a room in exchange for Aspara working full time at a slightly reduced wage, given that Aspara had little money and little other options he took the job, and passed his OWLs and NEWTs while living with this man and his family. Aspara found himself settling a little more into general life with him, and moving into his stride, working a lot and finding himself relaxing a little more, he slept better and enjoyed his day to day life more. It was while working at this pub that Aspara first started spending time with this eco-socialist group which had both muggle and magic meetings. He first attended only the ones that were held at the pub, lingering close by and then eventually sitting with them, and then began to get more and more involved.

Eventually Aspara had made enough money, and was making enough money to be able to move into his own flat, it took him three weeks to find a place that suited him, but all of about ten minutes to get unpacked. Despite having been out of the community for over a year he was still very much with out many possessions, but upon leaving his bosses family home, the man gave him a set of political books that Aspara had been talking about and giving him a gift of a framed picture of Aspara with the other bar staff from their night out. Aspara didn't manage to cry about what happened with his family but he shamelessly hugged the other man and cried for a few minutes, just so surprised by the kindness he received from the man. Aspara was very happy with his new flat and was able to continue working at the pub, hanging out with the Eco-Socialist group, getting more and more involved, not ever mentioning his previous experiences with anarchism, only mentioning it when he applied for a job to work with them. Aspara got the job shortly after he turned twenty-three, after being a member of the group for two years, Aspara didn't immediately quit his job at the pub, instead working there while still working with the group until he got so busy, he simply couldn't do both.

Aspara has put his all into his job, he loves working for the group and he loves the challenges he faces everyday, he doesn't make much money but he makes enough and since beginning the job he's found it easy to pick up the threads of what he used to be like and has work exceedingly hard to maintain what he has. Aspara has barely given more than a fleeting thought to the family he left behind, and despite how much he works he so much happy now than before, and Aspara is very settled in his life.
